Been watching these guy since the late 50's and still love them no matter what name they go by. !
What other name have they gone by? Was it usual for young guys to wear t shirts solo? I see sweatshirts haven't changed since then.
In the beginning they were the dead end kids ,more tuff as time went on they became more comical but always great to watch even their names changed .
Did you know that Louie the owner of the sweet shop ,in real life was slips father ?
Used to get a Bowery Boys movie every Saturday morning after cartoons on KBHK UHF44 in the Frisco area in the '70s!
Everytime I go around Hollywood I will visit their star at Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Boulevard and brings back so much good memories.
I used to wait for my friend that was at a day camp. I think the name of it was the Beacon Day Camp. I’d wait , sitting on his stoop and when he and his Mom, Evelyn, arrived back home, we’d go into his house and watch these movies. Danny, my childhood friend and I used to watch these and others all afternoon. .. SO long ago, long ago . .
Didn't know they went under so many names..East Side Kids, Bowery Boys, and now Clancy Street kids?..
In the beginning they where called the Dead End Kids
THANKS FOR THIS MOVIE. IT'S THE KIND OF FEEL GOOD ONE OF WHEN I WAS A KID. LOVE THE EAST SIDE KIDS, THEY ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH. HUNTS HALL AND LEO GORSEY ARE GREAT TOGETHER. LOTS OF FUN . HOPE TO SEE MORE FROM THEM. THANKS AGAIN AND STAY SAFE.
He was going to Chicago, would swing by. That's a 1000 mile trip out of the way.
Uh oh, Whitey’s in the rival gang!
Spoiler alert! Good episode!
Wait how much later were they the Bowery boys....Barbutt do you remember when they got in trouble they would do their routines.....They would name them by numbers.....I believe their favorite was routine 69....or was it 99?
These were movies.. several episodes talked about Bowery.. so the name flexed and jumped around over years.
I think you’re also talking about a few episodes I never had access to with big name actors.. like that famous gangster guy with nervous Twitch tugging sleeves etc.
