    Regardless, Crawford is gonna turn 37 and him fighting once a year isn’t enough. By the time he fights Canelo and that’s a big If. Canelo would’ve already fought twice with Berlanga and Munguia while Crawford fought Madrimov in August. So if they meet up in May. Canelo will have the activity advantage coupled with him fighting at his natural weight. This is what people aren’t talking about that should really be taking into consideration. Canelo is more active than Crawford. Had Crawford been more active coming into the Madrimov fight I’m sure he’d have a better performance. Bud simply wants to cash out fighting Canelo. And this with interview even after the Canelo antics he still wants the fight. This will not end well if he doesn’t have another fight in between waiting to fight Canelo.

    • @TheBookOfSammy
      @TheBookOfSammy Месяц назад +1

      There are alternatives to every approach. I could counter that and say 64 fights or so in for Canelo, he could be on the decline by the time that fight date comes around. Rest could be the elixir or Father Time could eventually catch up to Bud, but the activity issue doesn’t pertain to Bud because unlike many other fighters he stays in the gym whether he has a fight lined up or not and a lot of camp is predicated on cutting weight, conditioning and strength training, with of course skill work. Well, he doesn’t have to do much or concern himself fully with any of those things because he stays ACTIVE regardless of not getting in the ring but once a year.

J. needed a leveller - he's a bit smart and hard to like, i.m.o. Martin's my new HWD favorite. Multiple KO's, captivating, well-considered, tortuous punches. M's Top 10. Crawford is really going to be an all time great, he’s smart, clued on and knows his boxing well. Dropped an absolute truth bomb on canelo, the list of smaller fighters he beat is actually extensive. But then he also beat bigger guys in kovalev and also beat the most avoided guys in golovkin. It was $50M upfront to make the Spence v. Crawford fight so $25M a piece? GGG made 40% less than Canelo's guarantee for mega fight 1. Plant made 75% less than Canelo's guarantee for the undisputed fight. Canelo wants $150M for Crawford and Crawford should probably be about 60% less than Canelo's guarantee. That would put Crawford at $60M up front. Thats $210M total for up front pay and a 60/40 split for PPV Canelo A side is more than reasonable. Canelo's offer for $150M = $115M in 2015. 2015 is when Mayweather v Pacquiao happened. Floyd made $180M upfront for that fight which is $238M today. Turki can't do $210M total upfront? That's only $160M total in 2015 and still less than what Floyd made upfront in 2015. Alvarez v. Crawford is the Mayweather v. Pacquiao of this era. Pacquiao had already lost 6 fights before Mayweather fight. Crawford the B side is undefeated and Canelo is the PPV Star. Let's make this fight happen 5/5/25 @MGM Grand #PBC

    I agree with the Champ SHOWTIME - Madrimov never was able to put punches together - he rarely got off more than 1 punch at a time - the perception was that Bud was supposed to just waste him so anything that Madrimov was able to land was shocking - definitely an awesome fight from a true fan's perspective - it took longer than usual for Bud to step on the gas but eventually he did - Madrimov took alot of jabs and his forehead showed that - good fighter - he talked about a rematch as if he was the only one who was gonna make adjustments smh a rematch would not be as close

    Crawford- "your the man" been a fan since you were a lightweight...im mexican but i got you beating canelo...just be careful if you do end up fighting him because he wont be targeting you face as much as he will tey to hi you with body shots and ofcourse hes gonna tey to hit you in your arms. Biceps/triceps. Thats a signature move of his. Youre gonna have to prepare for that. But you got more speed and cardio then him. You caought madrimov with some beautiful uppercuts and body shots.
