    i have this fan in antec case (dp600 flux) with rgb can i connect thisfan into the rgb antec fans in my case?
    That I won't have to open the glass every time and change the color?

      Connect it to your motherboard with 3-pin 5V ARGB header and control the lights through the motherboard software.

    How did you manage to mount the cooler withe case standing upright? Does the thermal paste not roll down off the cpu before you have time to place the heatsink? And does the backplate not fall out when you try to place the heatsink and the screws push in onto the backplate ?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Год назад +1

      I would say that thermal paste doesn't roll off because it is a bit more thicker and not so liquid so it stays put. But I wouldn't recommend placing the thermal paste like that. I just don't like sometimes placing my case on the back so I don't scratch it somehow. I hold the backplate until I place the thumbscrews and the placing the heatsink is a piece of cake. :)

      @@PCCrazyDario I see. I am using the stock cooler on my i5-12400 with a Gigabyte b660m ds3h ax ddr4 motherboard in a case with 4 pre-installed static rgb fans. Do you think the frigusair 400 argb would be a good cooler to replace the stock one? I am considering a few others like Xigmatek Air-Killer Pro, Deepcool AK400 Plus, AG400 plus, the standard Ak400 all of which costs way less than the frigusair. What do you think? Or should I add a few bucks and go for the Deepcool AG620 ARGB?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Год назад

      @@ams-nm6dl Oh man, FrigusAir is $65. For that money, I would go with AK620 or at least with AK500 since they have a huge heatsink. Bigger that FrigusAir or any of those you mentioned (if I am not mistaking).

    • @ams-nm6dl

      @@PCCrazyDario You are right. What do you think about coolers offering single heatsink with dual fans for the so called push-pull configuration? I get it on coolers like the AK620, two fans cooling two heatsinks. But two fans on a single heatsink like the AK400 zero dark plus or the AG400 plus? Do the second fan not blow air too close and too directly into the rear exhaust case fan especially in small cases and thus creating some sort of airflow or rotation problem for the rear exhaust fan? Do push-pull configuration coolers worth it or create more problems?

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  Год назад

      @@ams-nm6dl I actually never did an exact test of, for instance, single fans with a heatsink and double fan /push/pull combination) to see the differences. But they do help blow out air more than the front one just pushing it through the heatsink. I would only suggest placing the RPMs on the same level or same curve for the rear fan and those on the heatsink. That will have the best effect, or even the rear one going slightly faster then them. Will it cool better, can't say with 100% certaity, but it some logic, it should.

    Sir can you please suggest some air coolers for i7 12700K. My purpose is gaming, live stream and video editing. I can't opt-in for aio because recently a youtuber I follow, his aio pump failed. That makes me feel aio can't be reliable. I can't kill my entire pc of 600k rupees just because of a single aio fail

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  2 года назад

      That is 1 out of a 100 that AIO pump dies. Really curious which one is it. Also, I only had once an issue with AIO pump being dead, but that was ONLY because the whole series of those AIOs was bad. As for air CPU coolers, this FrigusAir 400 sounds like a good idea or Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black.

    I've used Hyper 212 fo $20, Gammax 300 $15, and now AG400 Argb $30 and few others...I will NEVER spend over $30 for a dam tower cpu cooler!

    • @PCCrazyDario
      @PCCrazyDario  2 года назад +1

      Hyper 212 unfortunately doesn't cost $20 anymore. It's $45 now. Gammax, ok I get it. Still same price. AG400 ARB is currently on $20. But none of those have black heatsink nor do they have top cover in ARGB. So these is where the cost is pumped up. The price difference is basically for your build aesthetics.
