    You pronounce Chaumont as "Sho-mon". Thank you so much for this documentary. I live in France but haven't been to this Chateau yet. It's now on my to do list. Very interesting. I have though been to the other castle you mentioned, Chateau de Chenonceau. It is truly stunning. The gardens are also amazing. If you ever visit France, this is a place to visit.

    Catherine was not referred to as Queen de Medici, she was Queen Catherine. Chaumont has an infamous history and luscious grounds. Well worth a visit.

    Accuracy in pronunciation is important when making reference to historical royal figures. I'm sure Katherine Di Medici's skeleton crumbled a bit more every time her name was uttered here.

    I hate what they did in the chapel, looks stupid. I'd love to visit though.
