Kasim Al-Fayed is going to be playable. I repeat, *Kasim Al-Fayed is going to be **_playable._* Oh, and Renne's getting an outfit that really outlines how much more attractive she's gotten over the timeskip. I said it once, and I'll say it again - this arc is more than likely going to be my favorite once it finally comes out in English.
I've been seriously wanting to play this series because I love JRPG games like Tales series, Persona, Atelier series, SMT etc. But I don't know where to start?
In chronological order to give you an idea: Trails in the Sky Trails in the Sky SC Trail in the Sky: The 3rd Trails of Zero Trails to Azure Trails of Cold Steel Trails of Cold Steel II Trails of Cold Steel III Trails of Cold Steel IV: End of Saga Trails into Reverie Kuro no Kiseki (Trails in the Dark) Kuro no Kiseki II: Crimson Sin
@@supersonicmario56 a question kind sir. If I decided to start on the Kuro no Kiseki, will I understand the story or do I need to play previous titles?
@@zekkenalter6013 It's basically split into parts: Sky, Crossbell, Cold Steel, and now Kuro/Dark. While each part has its own contained story and can be played separately, there's this overarching plot within the games that ties them all together, similar to how the first 3 Paper Mario games are structured. You don't have to start at the very beginning, but eventually, you will have to play those games to understand that arc of the story and the characters that show up in it.
There's a big chance that it might not happen. Kiseki is reverting back to Sora in terms of romance and they might be planning for something with Shizuna, Yun Ka Fai, and Rean if they are planning to exploit their swordsmanship and to focus on the east in the next arc after Calvard. And besides, Elaine is main interest, and Agnes has more chance on being romanceable than Shizuna. Even if they decide to do the optional romance system like in ToCS, it would be more like Zero/Ao than CS. Spoiler: In Hajimari, the pairing of Lloyd and Elie is solid. Despite of the bonding events in Zero and Ao, the canon pairing is Lloyd/Elie in Hajimari and notion of romantic relationship with other women are non-existent. While Rean, despite of people thinking that Alisa was the canon lover, has almost non-existent scenes in Hajimari so he's still open.
@@BlueBerryZerpy has any of that been confirmed by falcom though? I definitely think going back to a singular canon romance is good for the series, but like, player choice has a LOT of potential if done right. Sadly, since its falcom i doubt theyll put in that much effort and make it anything beyond just fan service
@@Durabele Falcom didn't need to announce anything, by purely playing the current games you would understand. Of course there are still some bonding events (connect events in kuro.) And if you have played Hajimari, you would know after completing the entire game. Of course there were some tidbits of fan service (like the beach scenes/events) but overall, Lloyd's specific pairing have already been decided while Rean is still available.

Renne's new outfit looks like a blend of her Kuro uniform and Cold Steel outfit
aa renne looks so much older! shes really grown up!
Cant wait for this to come out in a decade.
They already have teasers for Kuro 2 and here I am, still waiting for the localization of Trails into Reverie. I can't wait any longer 🤣🤣🤣
With some unofficial patch it playable in english tho...(there's no english voice over of course)
Reverie is coming in 2023, we still don't know which month yet. I hope it's early 2023

and there a new post game content!
Yeah, Marchen Garten sounds like it'll be similar to Phantasma/True Reverie Corridor (Not directly, but it feels like the third path)

It's Destination of Fate from Reverie

I prefer Shizuna's previous outfit.
NGL, I get vibes of Fie's Cold Steel II outfit from it whereas the one she wore in Kuro gave off more of an "Assassin" vibe
