- It was a rare opportunity to see Dylan perform in a small, intimate setting. An early evening performance in a café called Monkey Grind in Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. Only about 20 to 30 people in attendance!

I saw him play in Bristol UK last year, just him and a drummer. I was stood about 3 feet from the guy! The most intimate gig I've ever seen, it was hypnotic. I even met him briefly afterwards. It was like having him jam in your front room, awesome.

I've been listening to all the videos on RUclips of his solos and I actually enjoy them more than most of the Earth stuff. But I've listened to Earth a lot, as they're one of my very favorite, so maybe it's a just a new perspective for me. Either way, I hope he puts out more albums like this.

Adore Dylans music♥He looks a lot better now too:) I think he has/had Hepatitis C and was getting treatment for it? Anyone on here know him to shed some light on this. Im glad he seems to be recovering anyway.
I saw an interview where he said he had a hepatitis B variation which depending on what variation it is can have worse complications than hep C especially now that there are several different brands of pill that cure hep C in 8 to 12 weeks.Hopefully he's going to be ok.

Just sounds like Neil Young without vocals, and considering Neil Young's considered the Godfather of grunge and Dylan Carlson's band Earth came out smack in the middle of the grunge movement...yeah, nothing worth hearing here, but I guess fanboys will be fanboys.

GoDaThEr oF gRuNgE... hope you trip running backwards through a field of dicks. Grunge is just a shitty grouping of bands that tried riding off Seattle music scene popularity. Started with mud honey and the melvins. Some Weasley ohioan didn't start it and earth doesn't even fall in the category despite hailing from the same area. If you're gonna credit a band credit acdc and kiss. They inspired folks like buzz osborne. No buzz no nirvana. I think earth is absolutely worth listening to. While I'll respect your shit opinion, Your crediting of Neil is just wrong and stupid.
I love Neil but there is more going on here and a lot more going on on Earth records than you seem to realize.One thing for sure is it's far from grunge.That label is like any other.....a few bands were authentically grunge or had a similar sound.No one started calling Neil the godfather of grunge until he befriended,jammed with and made a record with Pearl Jam.There are much more finite differences in the nuances of both those bands but when labels are applied for marketing strategy those nuances get over looked especially by those who don't pay attention....like you.Dylan is an original,the fact that you don't enjoy his music doesn't change that.
