Fun fact: Dave Mustaine chose the name Megadeth so their albums would come before Metallica's in the record store. It took years before he finally let his grudge go, and it took a near death overdose to make him realize life is too short.

Hey man, Megadeth is one of my all time favorite bands. I still have the original vinyl albums I bought from them back in the 80's and early 90's. You really need to check out a song by them called "Holy Wars". It was off of their "Rust in Peace" album. It's still one of my all time favorites. This album came out in 92, the album had huge political influence and Dave was writing about corruption in the administration, which now seems to fit again. Awesome video

History for you: Dave Mustaine; lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the band; started with Metallica in their very early days but they fell out big time so Dave formed his own band Megadeth to try and compete with Metallica.... Metallica won 🏆 but Megadeth are still awesome 👌 🤘
Mustaine also near lost his hand; I think in an accident or something; but it nearly ended his career as a guitarist.
