I shot an AUG left handed one time, and was greeted with brass to mouth as a treat. I like the IWI Tavor X95, but you need a different bolt to convert it to a left handed configuration. That’s why I think the best bullpup for left handed shooters is the Springfield Hellion.

I’m a lefty, I love my Hellion. Thanks for the video
Uh, yes. I’ve shot all of them and the VHS is the king for left handed shooters.
Agree on the lefty-friendly, though the Kel-Tec RDB with its downward ejection gives it a run. When I shot my X95 from the left side, brass cut my chin even though I tried to hold my face well back behind the port. I normally shoot right-side, but lefty may come in handy. A decent case deflector would be wonderful!
Thanks, Enjoyed, I have an AUG with the left handed bolt witch makes it LH friendly,It hates suppressors though. The Hellion I bought last year has 700+ suppressed, rounds threw it. 0 Jams and No gas in my face. Yankee Hill Ti can. Probably have to buy the new FDE one also.
This dude is a young Ron Swanson before he got into woodworking.
I appreciate your video as you have made clear on the cheek riser and being one of the fewer recent folks that knows how to properly take down the gun apart /vice versa and highlighting its features. Some areas that is overlooked is it has a forward assist built into the charging handle's top black tab lever you press down. The charging handle also locks in place if the handle is not swung left or right so it prevents the charging handle being pulled back if you were to do a C-Clamp grip. The magazine release button on the rear was designed to prevent accidental mag release common on side button release rifles.
This lefty loves his hellion!
Lefty and I love mine.
What about the Desert Tech MDR? Asking as a lefty with not Bullpup experience.
it isn't used in any military capacity so I didn't include it. Haven't shot one, but they look cool!
MDR isnt the most reliable rifle out of the bunch and has odd problems and bad accuracy when use thier 308 barrel instead. Its got a lot of issues honestly.
The thumbnail is misleading I am the wrong type of lefty
Thanks for this AWESOME video
Bullpups R Us
Very cool, its trigger isnt the best, but as far as bullpups go it seems pretty decent. You know what else would be cool is new production metal FAL mags...
hahaha i'll see what I can do
@@GunMagWarehouseTV appreciate it.
Vhs2 best❤
How is the trigger?? Travel, pull, reset? Will it accept aftermarket triggers?
not great. long, squishy, long. As far as i know there are no aftermarket triggers available.
@GunMagWarehouseTV fyi, the first bath release of Hellions in 16" had a heavier trigger pull weight. The recent 18" and 20" models has a slightly lighter trigger brak on those models and if you do find the Gen 1.5 ver of the Hellion 16" with its newly updated selector should have a slightly lighter trigger pull weight. Shooting Sight is looking at making aftermarket trigger in about a year from now.
