It was stated by the naysayers she would have trouble transitioning from college ball to the WNBA. From I have observed the WNBA seems to have trouble transitioning to Caitlin Clark.

I find it funny it takes anywhere from two to sometimes three "grown ass women" to guard her at any given time.
Picking her up at 3/4 court in the ALL-STAR game was just comical as hell..

What is more amazing than CC's playing is that I watch a professional sports channel. I am one of the few Canadians who doesn't follow Hockey, I can't stand football and basketball is just something I had to play in gym class. Suddenly I am watching WNBA games and channels like this one. Also, what's up with Angel Reese? If there was a stat for annoying she would own it.

CC reminds me of MJ. Due to the time difference with Australia, I would sometimes wake up in the middle of the night to watch the Bulls live on tv during playoff times. I will do the same for the Fever’s games during the playoffs. She is that good and just like the Bulls had Pippen, Grant and Paxton, the Fever have Boston, Mitchell and Hull. Go Fever!

Looking over the team stats versus LA last night, I am concerned about Team Assist. 18 total assist is average in the league. When the Fever average 23-27 assist per game, they are unstoppable! 23-25 assist per game should win them a Championship!!

I just saw a table of stats on the CC impact on the Fever Club and the WNBA as a whole, over last year. Its incredible! Percent increases of attendance, jersey sales, sponsors, even beer sales have skyrocketed by hundreds and even a thousand percent! No way she shouldn’t be given the ROTY AND MVP of the year! Hell, if it wasn’t for CC, I wouldn’t even be commenting on a post about the WNBA! I just hope she doesn’t let the fame and fortune change her to much! We don’t need a female LeBron. The WNBA already has several of those angels. Go CC and the Fever!

Still think Reese is the ROTY or should share it, with Clark? Clark just dropped her second triple-double of the year- 10 Rebs, 10 Ast & 24 Pts with 3 Stls. She also became the first rookie and fifth WNBA player with multiple triple-doubles in a season, joining Alyssa Thomas, Courtney Williams, Sabrina Ionescu and Candace Parker."Caitlin Clark has 12 double-doubles. That ties the WNBA record for most double-doubles by a guard in a single season. 2 Pts & Reb Dbl Dbl, 2 Triple Double Pts Ast Reb, & 8 Pts & Ast Double Doubles and also breaks the Rookie record of 8 by a WNBA rookie guard.Clark just passed # 3 Arike Ogunbowale's 630 pts on the Rookie Pt rankings and sits at 641 just 41 Pts behind # 2 A'ja Wilson's 682 with six games remaining, & is 103 Pts of the # 1 Clark has 286 assists, 28 assists behind the WNBA League season record for assists set by Alyssa Thomas in 2023 with 316 - 6 Games remaining I believe that Clark Leads the league with Pts contributed to her team's total Pts at 42% and I believe she still leads the league in combined Pts and AstCaitlin Clark made her 100th 101st & 102nd 3s and became just the 7th 8th player in the WNBA to reach this milestone & the only Rookie to do so (new Record) & to do it in the fastest time (new record). ...in the 27-year history of the WNBA, there have been just 35 Triple-Doubles - 5 occurring this season & Clark has two of them. Caitlin now has Two, using a stat-based estimation of 35 Triple-Doubles over approx 8,100 games, which means that a Triple-Double has only happened in 0.0043% of those games.
Now when compared to the one-a-game Pts & Reb Dbl Dbl, the Triple Double is very rare.
    1) Over 6,200 WNBA games, with the extended season, there was an increase in double-doubles to 332 in the last season or 1.28 double-doubles per game played.
    2) Of the 5,089 double-doubles in WNBA history, 91.3% of them have been achieved with a minimum of 10 Pts & 10 Reb (4,645 total) AKA the Angel Reese Dbl Dbls
    3) Of the 5,089 double-doubles in WNBA history, 7.8% of them have been achieved with a minimum of 10 Pts & 10 AST assists (398 total). AKA the Caitlin Clark Dbl Dbl.
    4) Players who score the Caitlin Clark Dbl Dbl even with the infrequency, have a higher winning percentage (12% higher).
    5) the numbers do say that a player who hits the DBL DBL Pts & Ast is more valuable than one with Pts & Reb

And despite this long list of achievements, UConn coach Gino told CC fans they are delusional to even imagine CC will thrive in the NBA. Too disrespectful to the WNBA pros apparently. Well, I can think of 3 points:
1- He has an agenda against anyone who does not come from the Huskies
2- He has miserably failed to identify a generational talent
3- The WNBA players are actually no way near as good as their egos would want them to appear.
Regardless, that coach -just like Swoopes- has considerably tarnished his reputation and many WNBA players got a wake-up call.
