I just bought a 2015, the guy who had it before me must have watched this video cuz the bike has all 3 of those upgrades on it. I test rode a stock 2018 and the 15 with the mods has noticably more kick and I love it.
I said the same thing, swapped out the slips on for the slash cuts and love them. Pairned it with the fi2000 and the power flo, great mix. Video on it soon!
6th gear and a rear suspension, a 6th od gear = great hwy mpgs.....Throw on some saddlebags & windscreen & you could ride cross country for dirt cheap....45 & 50 mpgs isn't bad but if you were getting like 60mpgs & used it to commute often. The fuel savings would help the bike pay for itself. I tell my neighbor this who has a V8 truck & drives 20miles each way to work. If he bought a decent used bike for 2 or $3k that got around 60mpgs. The bike would literally pay for itself in fuel ⛽ costs. Plus save wear & tear on his truck. My S10 doesn't get horrible mpgs but I ride my bike as much possible.
Speedo is 8-10% optimistic. Put a 200/55-18 will lower revs by 3%. Say 80rpm at 60mph. If going dark side more options IF THEY FIT eg 225/55-18 will drop revs by 8%, make your speedo accurate and revs drop 200rpm at 60mph. There's your 6th gear. Fiddle with tire comparison sites.
I love the way the Fury looks but hate that it's a hardtail not good for road trips.....To make the bike practical. I like the idea of being able to quickly add/remove some large saddlebags & windscreen. For when you want to go on a road trip. I seen a an air ride suspension kit for it & several pictures of bagger conversion. But if the saddlebags or triple & windscreen can be quickly installed & removed. Then it's a bit like having 2 bikes in 1.
These mirrors I can see great out of, can't stand the old small narrow ones. And no I haven't, I don't plan on it either because I'll probably scratch the paint if I did.

It would have been nice since everyone who is interested in your topic doesn't get to see the very things you are advising. You spent the entire video giving us the view that we all have already. I won't spend time googling to look at the items you are advising and then I'm certainly not going see how they're installed. That's what you could have done instead of wasting my time. Nice work.
You're very welcome to have your time wasted by my video! I'm privileged and honored to do so, and will be glad to do it again soon! Make sure to subscribe to my channel so I can follow through on that.
I should apologize I was grumpy that day. Even though what I said was completely true I should have been nice or about getting my point across. What I simply should have said was that most mechanical problems found on motorcycles, is the nut that connects the handlebars to the seat. Have a great day and keep riding.

Picked up my Fury yesterday. Went to the gas station last night and went 100 miles. :D Love this bike, love this vid.

I got the same color. Bought last year. Put cobra exhaust on. Not the swept, everyone has those.

#1 Thing is it needs another gear. It needs a 6spd.
Absolutely

I prefer the original exhaust but with the baffles removed. Nil cost too.

Not a hard tail. A softail
Change out the fugly mirrors. Did you remove the reflectors yet? I need to remove them on mine.

@@EsotericRider I just moved back to Detroit. Wanna meet n ride?
Absolutely! Shoot me message on Instagram
I'm in dearborn heights. Have 2020 fury
Love my fury
It’s worth it if you just go full exhaust. For the price you pay, extra couple hundred bucks will go a long way. The wait is worth it.
absolutely agree! went with the powerflo and slashdowns, definitely worth every penny.
@@EsotericRider unfortunately I couldn’t find the powerful for my bike model Honda interstate. What’s the diff between powerflo and fi2000r?
Thanks for the info

Does the fuel controller support wide band for boosting?
Smokin Tyre garage custom pipes
What's your thoughts on an after market round speedometer? With a fuel gauge too like the one on the Honda Rebel.
I would love to see it be done. Hopefully the lettering/ numbers style and font stay the same to keep with the esthetic of the bike.
@@EsotericRider Awesome.. I can't wait to watch you do that on video!
Got all 3
Is there a place to purchase the fuel controller? The cobra site doesn’t have the option to purchase
Parts giant, or revzilla
@@EsotericRider thank you

After spending $12k, it's just really hard to justify another thousand.

Be nice if we could actually see the air cleaner and pipes instead of just looking at the handlebars the whole video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This video would be more useful if it showed (instead of just talking about them) the modifications being installed.
That's why when you buy the components, they have a thing called "installation instructions" included in the box.
