I used to be on Curt's Patreon Discord server, and out of pure luck got to be in a private zoom call with both of them once!
And when I went to see Spies are Forever in NYC in 2022, I met Kim in person (since of course Curt was there to perform).

i assume the 'what tim wants' nod in snoozle town is probably a reference to the fact both songs are an 'i want' song in their respective stories? that's my guess. aside from being a clever way to let us know everything is connected in this series with running musical motifs. several songs in nightmae time reference songs or melodies useed in all the musicals, inlcuding nerdy prudes must die (particualrly in the axeman song, with the 'watching nerds run for their lives' which makes sense given both stories follow the same lead characters and share similar themes)

I was kinda in a hurry while watching this so i was watching some of it in 2x speed and deck the halls (of northville high) started as a jumpscare with how fast and jarring the change was.
Also some of these song were so funny sped up like The Nibbly Ditty, Bully the Bully, and The Summoning.

-Dirty Girl: I love this whole song, I'll be honest, my favorite of the entire musical, "Hey, Brute, you talk to me like you're in a locker room." Til "I'ma sing you a sacred song, on your knees pray along, if you wanna last until dawn" Because it picks up and is cool, and then slows at the end there. And just the way she acts in that scene is so great, this is her fantasy, she wants that.
-Bully the Bully: All of Mariah's high notes.
-Go Go Knighthawks: Fuck Clivesdale.
-HatchetTown; The part sung by Bryce, it gives me chills every time she says Candy and Rainbows.
-The Summoning; When they are saying all the names, T'Noy Karaxis hits a specific part of my brain tbh. I also love the part when Blinky/Laura says "We've been watching you Gracie, someone's been a bit... naughty."
-The Best of You; I'll be honest I don't like this song a lot, it makes me think of every end to a high school movie in early 2000's but I know that's the point, so Imma give it a break. It's an ok song. (Idk my favorite part)
-Dirty Dudes Must Die; Earlier I mentioned the lines they were singing, they sing it multiple times, originally in Cool as I think I am, then its sang in the background with all the singers when Richie is about to die, right before he says "I'm not a loser." And it's sang finally one last time in the same creepy and chill inducing way at the end before the "Darkness will save my soul." Line. I love it. It's also quoted other times in multiple songs. Only Parts of it tho.

Robert played hidgens in tgwdlm and Ethan in Black Friday and Joey later took on his roles because he was fired after admitting to sexually harassing one of the starkid band members
