While other Filipino youtubers are racing to show their international trips/vlogs, we have Erwan who is busy promoting local tourism and exploring the beauty our country has to offer. And that’s what I love about him. Kudos!
oo nga, yung sa suggested videos dito puro mga artista na youtubers na pumunta sa ibang bansa.

This man (and the team) deserves to be in Netflix 💯
Erwan being the best writer, narrator and content creator as usual. 👏
Pauline Hebres Totally agree!
Narrator? Not at all. He keeps on mumbling..
@@guitarcovers299 if you listen carefully and be attentive , there are lots of stuff in what he had "mumbled". perhaps you are not interested just only watching.
Exactly what I thought too

As a tourism graduate, I salute your sustainable tourism advocacy! On point man!
I think you were looking for this phrase: "Take nothing but pictures. Leave nothing but footprints. Kill nothing but time"

In nature, we are but humble guests and like old good visitors leave nothing but gifts behind and take only our memories back with us. Don't chase what everyone before you has pictured." -Erwan
Erwann's channel is like watching national geographic, awesome content.
You can tell there’s so much work and research done in this video. Thanks for this Erwann!
Agree, great work!
I'm from Mountain Province. I love how this video captured the countryside, comforty vibe of the mountains. Also, I love you how you pronounce "Etag", with the schwa sound. 😊
Please continue making informative, fun and adventurous videos. ❤️
Exactly, it sounded perfect 😊
Way back in 2016, We chose Sagada to be our Thesis Subject. We noticed the negative impacts of tourism on the environment, culture, lifestyle of the Sagada Igorots. Now, I am very happy to see the Improvements in Sagada's Tourism. Responsible Tourisim it is. ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤗🤗🤗
Underrated vlog. These are the kind of videos that should trend! Amazing!
True
Dang, this is what I love about you Erwan. You promote Philippines through your content but you never miss out on the chance to remind people and possible tourists, how tourism with respect should be done!! Kudos! That's how a vlogger should be, you allow us to have a glimpse of the experience you've had without failing to remind us that we should responsibly enjoy as we tour! 🤩😍
thanks for watching!
I think you just found my "home."
(I'm typing this off the cuff, so bare with me...)
I immigrated with my younger brother to the United States twenty nine years ago. I was barely twenty and my bro was almost fifteen.
I did what most immigrants do in their new "home": put my head down, don't ask questions, just get in the grind. So I did.
I am very thankful for the opportunity given to my brother and me. We're very grateful for the chance to provide some support to our love ones in the Philippines. We didn't want to waste it. So, we participated in the grind with purpose.
Years went by. Things happened. School, military service, part time jobs, more school, etc.
In the 29 years I've lived outside the Philippines, my concept of "home" became more complex because of the "grind." For first 19 years of my life, I called Baranggay Olympia in Makati my home. Then Maryland became home. Then Illinois. Upstate New York. Idaho. Now, California. All of those places are a part of me. Those places are my "home."
In all these years, I have this fascination with the mountain region of Northern Luzon. It's like my "spiritual home." I can't explain it. I was born in Makati and I've never been to Baguio up until two months ago. I have no reference as to why I yearn to explore the northern part of Luzon. But as I get older, that yearning keeps on building up. So, two months ago, I dragged my husband across the Pacific Ocean, to explore Asia once again. This time, we made Baguio as one of our stops.
On our way to Baguio, I remember getting more excited as my brother in law's car threaded up the windy road to the mountain town. When we got to Baguio, I felt calm and joy kinda washed over me. I felt really good. I felt home.
Too bad we were only there for a long weekend.
I'm back in San Francisco, but I can't wait to go back to the mountains of Northern Luzon. My fascination with Benguet has grown ten folds since that since trip to Baguio. But the fascination is not just that anymore. It has morphed into something else. I want to find a home in the mountains on Northern Luzon. Some place with a firmly rooted cultural heritage.
But I don't want to find just a "new" home. If permitted, I want to find a community to join, respect its tradition, and help foster its culture.
The trouble is I did not know where to start. Until now.
So, thank you. Thank you for showing me where to start.
beautiful story ☺️ wishing you the best of luck!
@@featrmedia Maraming salamat!
Nice story u have there. I am an Igorot (Benguet/Mtn Province), been living here in NZ BUT i always miss my hometown. The feeling of emptiness is always on me, and always consider cordillera is my HOME. I must go back home after retiring. :)
*rich culture and tradition
*natural resource endowments
*more peaceful and serene
*cool CLIMATE
Hope u find our place home for u.
I grew up in Sagada, Besao and Baguio but I have lived in the silicon valley of California more that I have lived in the Philippines. I like to visit those beautiful places of northern Luzon but I prefer to live in the USA.
Man Erwan's vids are LIT! His videos are like that of The Discovery Channel or The National Graphic. Thank you for showing the beauty of Sagada and of our lands here in the North. At the same time you never forget to leave a reminder about the sacredness of our traditions. RESPECT SIR and QUALITY WORK!!
That's what I'm thinking also that I heard or watch something like his videos.
My pleasure touring sir erwan...no words can describe how he inter act with people he meets....he's so cowboy and very generous...u are not just visiting our place hence ure also advertising our product and marketing our tourist spot thank u so much for that...thanks DOT Baguio for recommending us to be the tour guide so we had the chance to tour along with a very great man like sir erwan even for a very short time....God bless u more
Wow. That’s awesome to experience touring Erwan and his team.
Mond tacason yes it is indeed sir....
This should definitely be on netflix! It would definitely be a must watch. The quality and cinematography is at par or even better than what we see on tv.
I miss sagada so much 😭😭 after this pandemic i surely comeback.
Solid talaga jan sa sagada.. Kung gusto nyo mag unwind sa nkakastress na maynila, pmunta lang kayo dito. The best!
Kudos kay erwan lupit ng editing at cinematography! 👍👍👍👍👍
Proud Igorot here from Mt. Province... The respect you've shown to our culture is very much appreciated .... Thank You... 😁 "Gayyem di Ka-Igorotan"(Friend of the Igorots)
Discipline is truly what will preserve this place. To anyone who plans to visit Sagada please be one with the place and blend yourself.
I did not grow up in Sagada, but my mom did and I go there from time to time. This just means so much for us Igorots. 💜 Thank you for being respectful to our traditions and culture. And for being a good role model to other tourists visiting the Cordilleras or any other place. ♥
It would be great to see you in TV as a TVHost --- having your own Program featuring natures/places & foods. Kudos to your Vlog. Better than in TV programs aired. ❤️
Please don't skip the ads. It's one of the ways of giving back to Erwan having these kind of AMAZING videos. Kudos to him! 👌❤️🎉

National Geographic channel is shaking. Also, Anthony Bourdain is resting well in peace knowing that a good storyteller is here with us right now. AND also, the editing skilllllzzzzzzz galeng
Erwan is the perfect example of "Tangkilikin ang sarilin atin"
"Never chase the pictures the one before have taken. Look for connection, immersion. Come with no expectation. Just enjoy the journey."
We are only a guest of nature.
Hayzz napaka catchy...

THE BEST ERWAN! ♥️♥️♥️ PROUD TO BE IGOROT HERE. 💝❤️❤️❤️❤️
Real high quality content! 👍 it’s great how you’ve shown how beautiful the cordillera is and also how rich the culture is here.
Amazing!! Hoping to visit soon🙏🏽 I’m from Baguio but my childhood I lived in Samoki Bontoc, Lepanto Mankayan. I haven’t been back in over 40 yrs long story lol. but I want to take my daughter with me and show her our beautiful mountain province. Right now we live in New York City. Stay safe everyone!❤️
I am also from Mountain Province, lived too in Lepanto then moved to Mankayan and now my family is in Baguio.
Erwan's convincing people to visit Sagada is amazing.. This guy is one of the best! 👏👏👏
And the cinematography is 💓💓💓
I miss Sagada. After this beautiful blog, I hope to visit Sagada again after the pandemic.
Best history teacher ever!! Thank you so much Erwan 💖
True... 😍😍
Celina Kim Tan indeed! Very educational. I salute this kid! He is not good, he’s great! We are blessed, he is sharing his talent with us eh?
i really enjoy watching erwan's vlogs especially the way he promote sustainable tourism here in the PH.
RUclips is so lucky to have a valuable content creator like you, Erwan. Such an inspirational influencer right here hindi yung puro pacute at sarili lang lagi yung video sa channel nila. This man is making a huge difference in terms of promoting our country. More power and success, mate. 10/10 💜
This man is just so passionate and humble in everything he's doing. I always feel it.
Thank you for visiting, promoting and appreciating our culture. Iyaman mi unay ♡

When erwan said "the special and unique feeling when you're in Sagada" that's exactly what i felt when i went there. ❤
I always refuse to refer to you as a vlogger. You are a travel documentsry producer, Erwan. Thank you for creating meaningful content!
Grabe tong si Erwann pakibigyan na nga to ng sariling TV SHOW napakagaling niya!!!
If you were my history teacher, I would never be absent plus I'll enjoy learning so much hahahahaha bonus na yung visuals mo hehe
Grabe idol!! Cinematography, story telling, everything!! Sa lahat ng video mo kitang kita yung passion mo to do those things, continue doing what you’re doing Erwan!! You don’t just film for money or fame, you film to inspire and deliver a message to your audience. 🙏🏻🙌🏻
This is very underrated video. This kind of video should be trending. Cinematography and storytelling is the I've seen in a while. Those mainstream TV shows got nothing on this.
I literally cried while watching. Been to Sagada once. It's a beautiful treasure that needs protection. Thank you Erwan.
Sagada my favorite town. It is so peaceful and i love how the people are. No one is rich and no one is above anyone. All people respect each other. Man i miss the town, the air, the vibe and everything. Cannot wait for my 3rd trip!
May I enquire, is there direct flight to go to this place? What is the recommend day tour agency? Thks
@@wongjenny8858 there is no direct flight and you can only visit on a car or by a bus. There's a lot of travel tours in the town center and you can also look for a companion since some spots needs certain number of people.
@@renzyboy69 Thanks for sharing .
@@renzyboy69 Do u mean we take flight to Manila and from there charter bus or car?
@@wongjenny8858 yes
Sagada is the most beautiful place I have ever been so far here in PH. Will be back again on November.
Couln't agree more...
Who needs cable, Netflix, Hulu, or amazon prime video when we’ve got Erwan? Seriously the dude’s amazing 🙌🏼
Thank you very much for featuring Sagada! I first went there in 1992 when it was still simple. We were just starting out with our teaching careers. No big hotels except for few rugged inns and restaurants. It was paradise! A former teacher of ours is buried there, Dr. William Henry Scott, who wrote a lot about the Mountain Provinces and was a missionary there for 50 years. All the best to you!
This vid brings back memories... realizing that theres more in sagada to come and look forward to...vivid cinematography...crisp editing...amazing storytelling...great erwan...
I really appreciate what your doing... showing the true beauty of the Philippines via Sustainable Tourism 🤗
We visit Sagada last April. I remember the adventures that we had. It’s not only the beauty of Sagada that amaze us but also their culture. How they preserve their culture. There are lot of things that we learn from Sagada. Thank you Erwan for featuring Sagada. It is so very informative💞

When vlogs turn into documentary, can’t stop watching your interesting contents. Shout out to your team👏🏻
You make me fall in love with the Philippines even more. You put so much work in every video. Not just letting your viewers see the sceneries, you tell every place’s stories. Honestly one of the best content creators.
This what separates erwan from other vloggers. Quality content, nice cinematography and great storytelling.
salute to the FEATR team, more content like this a nostalgic moment for me grow up with nageo and discovery channel it makes me go back to my young adventurous days watching content like this, hopefully you have your own jingle soon.. HHEHHE very educational... Thank you for featuring philippine tourist spots...
wow na wow.. Salamat ng marami sa pag feature sa napakagandang Cordillera Region.. specially sa bayan ng aking Ama. nakapunta na ako Bontoc, Sagada at sa Buscalan, napakaganda. maraming maraming salamat
Looking forward to more eps for this series! 🙌🏼😍
They're coming soon!
Sagada is such a beauty. I love how the indigenous groups have worked hard to preserve the place by not letting outsiders own any land or business in Sagada.
The trip maybe l9ng and tiring, but the reward is priceless.
Great video, Erwan!
Respect begets respect. Ur one respectful man, ur content shows much knowledge, respect and integrity (kudos to ur team, well researched)
Living abroad, Ive met fellow Filipinos ignorant of us IGOROTS, and belittle our culture. Thanks for this content Erwan, hope it will bring light to them.
Really appreciated that u integrated to the community.
Good model for sustainable tourism. I hope others tourist destinations here in Philippines follow suit. Thanks Erwan for sharing.
Erwan creating these type of documentary videos is an eye-opener to every Filipino to go back, learn our roots and respect indigenous people as well as their ancestral lands. Hats off to this team! More videos like this in the future, please! 👏🏻
We need more of these videos out there. Promoting and preserving at the same time.
Im not an Igorot but I love Igorot's they are the most respectful for me and so much respect for their culture...

Being a native of Mountain Province, I am awed with how you were able to depict in this documentary Igorot culture and people👍😁. We hope it will be featured in the cable networks for widespread information campaign in line with your advocacy😊❤.
Yes when in Rome, I like how you communicate with the locals in your vlogs, so raw and honest indeed you are fit to be our Tourism ambassador 🤗🤗👏👏
Made me fall in love with Sagada again. First visited Sagada last 2014 and it could be gleaned from this video that nothing changed, the culture is still intact, people are still warm and friendly and Sagada is still a sanctuary! Looking forward to your next videos featuring the Mountain Province! ❤️
I love Sagada. It’s where my roots came from. The ambience, the foods, the rituals, everything. And yeah Erwan is right that you have to respect their rituals.
Oh my....sukod sakpay naimatunan si Manong Jr Guindalos!!!!! Wowwww he sure changed a lot and even wowwww for his English skills and knowledge about our town. Congrats manong!!!!!
Netflix/TV Quality Stuff made by Erwan
proud to be an igorot..thank you for the respect you gave to our culture and traditions..
Just WoW. Hindi pang ABSCBN or GMA docus pang National Geographic.
From Content, filming, and Narration ang galing very informative.
I've always wondered what my dream really was because it kept changing, I was envious of people who knew who they want to be until recently when I realized that my dream was not "what I can be" but "where I can be". I dream of going back to the Philippines. Yes, that's my dream. My parents don't even want to stay here in Canada, I guess it's because it doesn't really feel like home, they plan on retiring in the Philippines. Knowing that made me realize everything, the reason why we're here in the first place. To find our way back home, to the Philippines. No matter how hard life can get in that place, it's home.
This video made me cry, it made me realize how lost we all are and that the people in Sagada and other places in the Philippines that were untouched by colonialism all know where they are and what to do with what they have.
Give this man his own netflix show! Quality content right here 👌🏻
"Earth doesn't need us."
👍👍👍💚
No argue...Erwan is the best Vloggers in Ph....he's a living legend of Ph. vloggers.....Hope you can travel in Mindanao again...
50 years ago, as a young kid, our grandfather brought us to Sagada to attend a wedding. I remember the hanging coffins and caves. We stayed at the house of our grandpa’s relative who had a store. How it’s changed. I wonder if I can still find his relative.
"You can't get so hung up on where you'd rather be, that you forget to make the most of where you are" This definitely made me realize I should be reconnected with my roots and I should learn more about our very own culture. This one's a great vlog. Thank you for showcasing Mt. Province (Sagada) Erwan! Going there first week of October and I'm excited!
ps That's a perfectly weaved top! :)
Beautiful video indeed! You've certainly got the qualities of a good writer, narrator and an effective travel blogger! Bravo! Never get tired of going back to Sagada!😋
So many good reminders for future tourists. Big Yes to sustainable tourism. Thank you for making this beautiful vlog.
Excellent as always Erwan. Thanks for promoting local tourism. Proud to be igorot here.
Wow. Hands down the best docu done about the place (hometown!). 😭👌 You should be recognized for your work 'cause it's just magical.
I had a solo travel in Sagada last year and it was a great experience. Watching this video shows me a different perspective of exploring the place. And now here I am thinking of going back again. Thank you for this video. Very inspiring indeed.
Hi Erwan. Im from Baguio City(Benguet). Beautifully made video, thank you so much for visiting Sagada and you share about the amazing nature in the mountain, the tradition and culture.

Such a great Narrator! Galing kuya. God bless!
Erwan, how have you not been picked up for a documentary. Thank you for all that you do to raise awareness about the beauty of the culture in the more remote places of the Philippines. Great writing, cinematography and voiceover work.
Erwan's vlogs featuring local tourism is something we have to watch over and over again.
Fell in love with place 10 years ago that I went 3 times in the same year despite the challenge of getting there. It still holds as one of the most beautiful places I've been to. I hope it stays the same. Indeed, it should be #morefuninthephilippinesforever
