The thing I've always admired about dancers . . . whereas musicians can hear a tune once and replay it pretty well, dancers can generally see a routine or series of movements and also repeat them pretty well.
Gosh i wish i could find a way to pick coreographys quicker...Im auditioning for college in musical theatre and it´s so hard to pick up a coreo in just 30 minutes...anyone knows a trick?
It takes more skill than is visible just considering the steps. It takes technique and skill to get the right carriage, the right line and angle. Anyone can learn the steps and look frumpy and slouchy and wrong.
Watch the whole ensemble version. Get an entire line of people to have precise hat angles, leg angles, AND sing. That is what the chorus dancers do. It’s precision & perfection. Moving seamlessly as one unit.
