That’s one beauty , just got me a 55 Roadmaster and was gona put some paint and redo the Apholstery but after looking under the car I went ahead and decided to just tear it all down and make sure the chassis is not rusted or corroded .... slowly but surely one bolt at a time.
Hi, i have a 1955 buick super, and im having trouble removing the drivers side fender. There seems to be a hidden bolt near the top of the fender where it joins the cowl. Any tips on how to access it?
I am not sure on the Super but mine has one bolt at the top rear of fender under the left rear corner of the hood. It also has two bolts that come from behind the kick panel.
I'm considering buying one near me. A 55 Century 4 door with the original nail head v8. Not sure if it's an automatic or manual. How do these cars drive? How is the braking? It won't be a daily driver but more of a cruiser for the weekends.
If the car has power steering and has radial tires, it will drive very nice. If it has conventional tires be sure they are the narrow original size and style or it will be all over the road. (Providing the front end is tight. See my other videos) If the brakes are in good condition, even non power brakes will stop pretty well. There is a lot of info on the Buick Club Forum. forums.aaca.org/forum/2-buick-products/
@@dyna1955 Thanks for the reply! I haven't been to see the car in person yet but hopefully I can this weekend. If I do I'll check for those things. What is a good source for tires on these old 50's cruisers? I've been enjoying your videos by the way. I'll check more out soon.

Nice 55 my dad had a 55 special bought new maroon and white dynaflow.
Got a 20 footer myself. Nice deluxe interior and a Century!
Looks dam nice for that age!
Good point! Just drive it as is! The rust repair can be put off
That’s a nice Buick,. The rust repair should be done but will run into the thousands. Right model, great color combo.
For now we are just having fun with it. When my other car is done I may tackle the rust areas. (Or Not)
For 60 yrs not a bad looking car and everythings working. No doubt about it, six cars, your wife is going to have to sell hers. lol
Nice video. Enjoyed your walk around your car. Not too bad for a car that old considering cars five years old have more rust than yours! lol
WONDERFUL CAR I HAVE SCALE 1 18 MODEL OF ONE
