This was my Mom's "Angry album." Back in the mid 1970s, when she got pissed off at the world, she would crank this album up on her Fisher stereo system, and it was a good idea to leave her alone! Thanks Coop for keeping my Mom from killing us!
wtf ever happened to Fisher? My parents had the same setup. So good!!
We had a Montgomery Wards Airline record player/8-track/radio combo that we would turn into a “synthesizer” by plugging the earphone jack into the microphone jack with a guitar cord.
We were quite cutting edge::….
My dad put this album on after he had been drinking and smoking crack. He blamed my mother of cavorting with James Bond and beat the shit out of her.
my dad had a fisher, and he had this album... go figure
@@bongofury5924 "Monkey Wards"....oh yeah, I remember them back in Detroit. Right along with Kresgee and Hudsons.
The very best “musical” composition from the original “ Alice Cooper “ group. Throughout the whole “Killer” album Alice’s vocals are outstanding.
Been an Alice fan for at least 40 years. I've listened to this 100 times, at least. Still sounds GREAT!!
This is his second album. This lineup is in my opinion the best, pure rock and roll band ever. Killer bass player. Guitarists were so creative. Tasty fills. Raw power leads. The drummer was a bad ass. They were powerful, raw, and took no prisoners.
This is his fourth album. First was Pretties For You in 1969, then Easy Action in 1970, Love It To Death in 1971, and then this album, also in 1971.
@@roblivorr7523 Ha!

4th Album
Like to comment before mine this is their fourth studio LP I was 14 years old in 1971 when this LP came out
1971, I was 14 years old... Still love it!
1971 is was well.....I was born in 71 so. Love 70's rock, KISS, ALICE, AREOSMITH, SABBATH, RAINBOW....etc I was a teenager in the wrong decade for sure.
I was 16 and heard Second Coming/ Ballad for the first time on a new FM rock station. It was magical.
Hands down one of my favourite Cooper songs... It was tremendous live !
Still awesome 2024 🎉
Always loved this classic Alice track, when it was released we would pretend to play the drums to keep in time. Brilliant track from a GREAT album and still sounds GREAT today.
My favortie Alice Cooper song! Also in my all time top 10!
Such a great piece. everything on it is just high talent high quality intelligent material. they weren't just some idiots up there playing 3 chordss. this is much
more than that.
I feel like I should come back here and say I have no problem with three chord rock songs, rockabilly songs or psychobilly songs. I love many of those songs as a matter of fact, but this is more than that- that's all I'm saying. Love and respect to all music.
@@dvinemisfortune I get you man! We can appreciate all forms of music as long as they are done well.
I agree, their masterpiece. The original Alice Cooper was the only band worth listening to
Takes me right back to the 70s! love this classic by Alice Cooper
HÁ 53 ANOS OUÇO ESSE SOM ❤❤❤❤
A Masterpiece, progressive rock 🎸🎹🙏🏽
What a creation this song is.
my favorite Alice Cooper song and it gets no hits so sad
So sad...
Blijf goed elke keer weer

If you ever get the chance as remote as it is, this album was also recorded in quadrofonic(8 track only) and at :36 seconds the synthesizer bounces all around the room, if the four speakers are put in each of the four corners of a typical room. The best. Still if listening in stereo set up the speakers on either side of the room facing each other, then sit between them. It is an awesome effect.
I had one of those 4 channel 8 track and a quad amp to go with it, loved to have the one guitar start in one corner then across the room for the 2nd one, drums & organ kicked in about then. My friends & I loved to hear this at max volume, my parents never even bitched about it I think they liked the Coop also.
@@rickkernermart1421 glad to hear at least someone remembers those 8 tracks. A friend of mine got his whole collection stolen from his car. The idiot who stole them probably tried playing them on a regular stereo set up. They don't play on those systems. 🙁
The best album in quad was they only come out at night-Edgar Winter.. the song Frankenstein.. wow
RIP Glen Buxton
Killer, mon album préféré d Alice cooper
Love all Alice Cooper band's work since early 70s. My brother and I were both influenced by the Alice Cooper band. My brother Keith Menser ( R.I.P. 8/6/2023 ) was a bass player and I only heard this recording after he had passed. Rest In Peace Brother ruclips.net/video/TjBWkszLF04/видео.html
1971 eu tinha apenas 15 anos de idade...
Hoje com 65 anos..

They were doing synth type sample loops long before any kind of techno ,,what ever that sound is that plays through the first half.
My older brother go this album and Love it to death when they first came out and they are still to this day two of my all time favorite albums!!!
This is facinating with all the different sections that are involved with this song.
Played the crap out of this album on my 8 track cruising in my senior year of high school. Machine Head also got played to death back then as well.
super song but nobody knows that number, I LOVE IT
lekker nummertje toch?
I surely do
First Alice Cooper i bought, and IMO, his best
When i heard Dead Babies over the cafateria speakers i could not run fast enough to buy the album. This Alice Coopers best album and i still [isten to it.
Top Tune, best when turned up as loud as it can go!
This is great, well done.
🗣 I listened to the whole album Killer , but I think this is the best song .*However* there are still a few good songs . 🎶
Good job on the video man! A true Alice Cooper fan.
In the crazy 70's they performed a show here in São Paulo-Brasil...I was there
I normally have rage killing flies in my house, but totally dig the flies in this video😂🤣
I've been a Cooper fan all my life I would love to know the backstory of this song
My sister gave me this album.
Dennis Dunaway....simply the greatest bass player of that time besides JPJ.
JPJ isn't even in the same talented category as Dunaway
Kudos to you for recognizing this. I would put him up there with any bassist in rock history.
Dennis Dunnaway, JPJ, and Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath! Those 3 we're tops of the game
Don’t forget Gary Thain. That’s all I’m tha..in’.😅 Uriah Heep!
You put effort in this vid! Much appreciated.
Came out very fitting to the song.
Great 👍
Prá mim acho esse som um verdadeiro
in concert.
How many previously happy households did Alice Cooper disrupt in the early '70's when teenagers brought his albums home ???!!!###
So fun to play drums along with this
Excellently Done! Bravo!
Awesome photo of Glen & Alice live at 3:34.... so I'll forgive you for the solo Alice photo right after...😂
Cool video! Subscribed
2:12 sounds like the xmas song " a few of my favorite things"
It’s from the Sound Of Music.
I've got the answers
To all of your questions
If you've got the money
To pay me in gold
I will be living
In old Monte Carlo
And you will be reading
The secrets of soul
Daggers and contacts
And bright shiny limos
I've got a watch
That turns into a lifeboat
Glimmering nightgowns
Poisonous as cobras
Silencer under the heel of my shoe
The elegance of China
They sent her to lie here on her back
But as she deeply moves me
She'd rather shoot me in my tracks
And while a Malaysian lady
She really came as no surprise
But I still did destroy her
And I will smash
Halo of flies
I crossed the ocean
Where no one could see
And I put a time-bomb
In your submarine
Goodbye to old friends
The secret's in hand
With phonied up papers
And counterfeit plans
You never will understand
That's their lyrics. What are you trying to say?
@@stanleybuchan4610 Ye, I know that's their lyrics. I comment it because I wanted to look at the lyrics when I first listen to the song.
Not "And while a Middle Asian lady" it a "And while a Malaysian lady", Malaysia a country in southeast Asia the people are called Malaysian.
@@jasonschofield1006 thanks you for correcting.
" I'll Always Love 'me' Neal Patrick Fry "
He was so "weird " back in the day, few people noticed he had a really really tight band! Lotta folks compared KISS to him, but they were all show, and very little music.
Kiss has great music too
A great hit music
@@alexzoris7216sorry not compared to Alice Cooper kiss for second rate compared to the Alice Cooper band back then I grew up in the seventies I listened to both bands believe me.

Facui theme song
B.E,if ya know what those initials stand for you'll know alot about A.C's songs, another hint, Canadian
D.D say no more!
Too bad with all the 1970's AC concert tours they didn't get it on film.
There’s so much gta footage it’s cracking me up
Alice Cooper goes Prog
Did you plan out the making of this video, or did you ' do it on the fly ' ? :) lol
rock progressivo
However I wish these video artists? Would quit adding to it!
Somewhat similar to The End by The Doors in its cleaner moments
What the... it seems familiar but.
I must be deaf but I dont listen to any harmonica played by Alice Cooper
Those credits are for the whole album that this song was on. You are right, no harmonica in this song.
J
poor words, poor title names, poor look by alice but otherwise decent music for the early 1970s. he took down his own music with his looks and words in the songs that had too much s&m or violence in them minimizing his craft.
