It's going together well Robert. I love round houses. One of the biggest ones out west in the US also had an engine repair shop behind it. It has almost totally been torn down now. What loss to history. I for one will be watching every episode of this build for sure Sir! Regards, Solomon
It was a full round house with an opening on the main side for one track in to the round table, and a bi-pass around to the engine shops. I've been looking for the pictures of ot back in the day, but lost my link. I'll find it again, and send you the pics for your edification. Regards, Solomon
Great job Robert. I love your colour matching. Are people really going to see the pits once everything is installed? I like how you ended one scene with “there’s a beam in the way” and then you cut to the next scene holding a big jackhammer like tool. Lol. Took care of that! -Mark

If you buy the main 3 stall kit and put the extra long bay on the right end, can you buy a second main kit and make 6 total bays but put another long bay on Left side to. .or can you just buy the add on kit
Looking good Robert! The colors seem to be spot on, well "grease spot on" anyway. LOL! Say, how many stalls of the roundhouse would it take to make a full circle? I have a Bachmann turntable with 18 feeder tracks (20 degree radius, I think), so I'm not sure if the Walthers roundhouse would match up to my turntable. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks! Cheers, Dan
Great video with loads of details. Which ho roundhouse building kit did you use? On their website, Walthers sells 3 that I could find. 933-2900, 2901 (the addition) and 933-3041? In the 3041 there are no floors, just the floor inspection pits. In the instructions of the 2900 it shows the floor in the diagrams. I cannot find if the floors are an accessory either, on Walthers website. Any ideas?
look who has come back to life may I say welcome back if you had a router would have worked better and faster for the weathering I would have use sparky weathering but I would use a neighbor basement than you own or just have sparky weather it in his basement should have the flooding down by now you think lol sorry sparky I had to get that in Rober, have a great build and you sparky too on your layout Jennifer White train bug

Peter, i used one 933-2900 modern Roundhouse.
And i used three 933-2901 Addition.

The Turntable part number is 933-2859 and this is DC/DCC 130 foot cheers Robert
