fact about Yuqi: she's one of those people who never cry or show their vulnerability in front of others let alone in front of cameras so whenever I see her cry I just know she's reached her breaking point, I really hope she stops blaming herself and understand that this is how these competitive shows work it's just making her sad and it just hurts seeing her this way.

honestly there shouldn't have been an elimination, it could bave just been a lighthearted music competition show where each mission they could get ranked, like for example Keke and XuanXuan won this mission, and then the next mission another will win or whatever, there's only 10 contestants, the elimination was unnecessary, and it's sad that the rules were, the two group will be eliminated and then suddenly one will be spared, they should've said that from the start, i feel bad for the four who ranked lowest, yuqi felt bad cause she was spared because she scored highest among the four causing her to leave her then teammate vava

no the reasons why they eliminate are so the idols can now have time to go on other shows and have their time. because now yuqi are on other shows and so are the other eliminated idols. tbh after they finish recording the idols wont really feel sad anymore just because of this one stage
watching yuqi hold in her tears and ended up bursting makes me cry :(( this kinda feels like after losing soojin, she also lost vava. i hope she doesn't blame herself :/ even though I doubt she won't.
I feel like eliminations aren’t even necessary because there are only 10 contestants, like you could rank them every round and accumulate their votes and the winner would be the ones with the most votes. This way, the rules of performing on a small stage could still apply because it’s a smaller chance of getting votes which affects the result at the end. I really wanted to see more performances from them to show their ability

The problem with the format you have suggested is that after a few rounds, some contestants would be so far behind that they would be completely out of contention. No matter how professional they are, they would definitely lose motivation and their performances and the show's quality would suffer. Conversely, wiping the slate clean after every round would allow each contestant to perform her best.

Its great that Yuqi gets to stay but it is so sad that the other 3 have to go I wish no one was eliminated in this competition especially since Betty has the best performance ideas ever. The Haircuttinng, Chair trick, and the paint.
The industry members were overly harsh with Xuanyi (giving her 11 votes when 7 participants had 22 or higher). I didn't think she deserved only half of Vava's votes.
Betty and Zhou Jieqiong concepts are so good! I also feel bad that they got eliminated but at least they shared what they wanted to do

Betty deserved so much more! I know I am watching the show for other girls, but Betty caught my eye immediately, when I started watching! She is so professional, too bad she is eliminated already :(
After watching the latest episode, the reason was even worse than expected... It would actually be okay if they decided to rank them last for the vocals, but it turns out the reason is due to not wanting Yichun to be on the small stage again. Isn't that just favoritism? The three judges continued to not wanting to pass Yami and Yichun, but Han Hong persisted. She convinced them by simply saying that Vava and Yuqi can bounce back at any time? Maybe they cut out more of the judging dialogue, so it might just be the show trying to make drama again...
This is exactly what happened on Girls Planet 999 lol, they didn't let the rank 1 K girl in top 9, because they believed she would continue to do well. Mnet and Iqiyi competing for hurting people's feelings so they can make it more dramatic

Seeing Yamy's face at losing Xuanyi made my heart hurt. They have such a great friendship and I hate to see them separated again. However, I must say that the way Xuanyi handled the elimination was really impressive. What a sweetie!

Look this is totally unfair ,honestly for the second contest ,vava and yuqi did the greatest job among all the other groups and this can be proved by the judge who did praise them a lot ,but it turn out to be them being eliminated .
umm..i mean I rated them to be the 4th in my book during that test performance. They had major pitch issues, but the jugdes know that only happened on stage, their pratcice was one of the best. However the problem is where Han Hong decided to vote agaisnt the other 3 judges to give Yichun a chance to not stay at the xxxl stage. Being 1 or 4th didn't matter in the test, but them switching up the 4th and 5th messed it all up for Yuqi and Vava. You can see that in this performance, the last part of Yuqi & Vava's song is totally meant for live audiences. well, Han Hong fked up and she know it when the results showed up. Yuqi and Vava technically did not have to deal with this shit.

Also how could the other 3 judges just let the opinion of 1 sway them?? I really don't understand. The three of them agreed that Yamy/Yichun should be last but somehow HH convinced them to make Yuqi/Vava last place instead? And it was just because she felt sorry for Yichun bc she stayed in the small stage previously?? It's complete nonsense to me. Yichun deserved to stay in the small stage again seeing how uncooperative and downright WHINY she was with Yamy during the mini mission, NOT Yuqi and Vava.

Its weird that the only person who went out of her comfort zone from the very start of the competition gets to be eliminated first...
I mean that’s ok they all did great and everyone in the the9 and the other girls just debuted as girl groups so they just practiced. Like just think of it like this do you know how long do jieqiong and xuanyi not hardcore practice. Because they debuted for the longest time so they have other things to do now and yuqi is so tired here as well since she’s been flying from Korea with gidle to keep running to this place and she was filming keep running while filming this so I can understand all of them. Like also for xuanyi she just finish filming dou continent with xiao zhan and came here right after. I wanted to see a younger judge tho like lay or Jackson because it makes more sense for them to judge since they have the same style unlike these judges how tf do they know how to judge dancing if they have never did it or know if it’s good or not I swear there was sometimes when the main judge was talking and I’m like NO SHIT EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT
The audience took up the vast majority of the votes and they did not care if the singer was breaking out of her comfort zone or not. They just cared if the performance was good. That's why Shan Yichun scored 88 audience votes even though she didn't rap or dance.
@@stevenchen9852 I don't think we should blame the judges. They support the girls and gave them good feedback, but the audience is obviously the majority so they practically have the final decision. People vote for what they see and what they like, even if is not totally fair in some sense it is what it is.

Got here for my girls(xuanyi,yuqi,jieqong),t's great that yuqi sucessfully made it to the next round but for xuanyi and jieqiong they deserve to be the one who will stay tbh.

Honestly in this episode in my opinion the girls were very tense and so much that we could hear it in their voices and see in their performances ... THE program must give confidence to these wonderful girls again and stop eliminating them, it is not necessary ... in the past everyone enjoyed his wonderful performance but in this episode I noticed that they did not enjoy it.

After watching this ep, I just think what Han Hong did was ridiculous. Cuz like she said Personality will not win points in serious situations. And then she went on ahead to give Yuqi and Vava last place becuz she thought they can bounce back anytime. You yourself said we shouldnt decide based on personalities??? Taking a pity on Yichuan cuz she might be discouraged if she was put in the small stage again.... and thinking it is ok to give Yuqi and Vava last place cux they are strong.... So contradicting huh? The Irony...

They don't have to do any sort of eliminations in the show because these girls are selected from the best of best in Chinese idol industry. Iqiyi did this solely for Hot Topic/Hot Search, aka volume.

我覺得沒必要說雨琦在這受很多委屈 因為這是個實力節目 不是像奔跑吧那種娛樂節目 所以來這本來就是要學習的 如果真的讓我們喜歡的愛豆來這沒學到什麼 那這樣我更覺得來這個節目沒什麼意義 雖然看了會覺得心疼 但還是希望雨琦可以繼續努力下去

實力節目就不應該弄小舞台啦，大家都在大舞台表演不是更能表現實力更公平嗎？而且還比賽前一天晚上才跟別人說你們要在小舞台喔。害她們只能晚上留下去重新編排舞台弄到凌晨，早上還要比賽。本身準備的東西全部打掉重練，甚麼樂隊甚麼舞美全沒了。而且現場看和隔著屏幕看你知道效果差多少嗎？
despite the votes were surprisingly low (I made the same face as the judges when Vava's votes came out), I enjoyed Yuqi & Vava's performance for its bright and interaction bits. Even though Yuqi's performance is much better this time, it's her second chorus that really got me, her ending is always so good. Out of all the performances, some others might have really good singers, but this is one with the most energy that just puts a smile on your face. It has a one-take camera shot, dance, powerful vocals, and both of them rapping. The last part IMO is really meant for the large stage with the audience, hence felt even worse for them when they couldn't be there. To me who follow gidle, I know how much Yuqi loves her audiences which really sucks and the last part felt really "It's her performance" (but again, I don't know Vava so I'm just going on with what I know).
I really feel like Han Hong made a mistake (and I think she realized that) to keep them there only because she felt bad for Yichun to stay at the small stage a second time, especially once again Yichun did not dance or really move from her spot on the big stage. Don't get me wrong, she is an amazing vocalist and I love to listen to her songs and it's not her fault. Their performance was really good that didn't feel out of place for one person to dance and one person to stand, however it felt very underutilized comparing to Yuqi and Vava's performance. This decision not only made Yuqi's team suffer but also made Yichun feel bad for the entire time. IMO Yichun is a hard elimination solely because of her amazing vocals, which start to put dancer/singers into a tough position even tho this show was mostly meant to be more than just vocals. I feel like the voting system is. not really working out. Like she would receive harsh comments during the show, but her votes will always be high at the elimination round where it matters the most.
