when i was learning, i did copy and paste but only if i understood it first, then i would add my own twist on things and eventually get more comfortable with doing stuff closely related to that thing or something else that needs that thing to work, also if anyone does need help with scripting you can ask me too :D

So, I want to learn how to become better at scripting I've been trying to teach myself since 2016-17 and I am stuck in tutorial hell, I know the basics of it but as soon as I get in studio my mind draws a blank on what to do how would I move on from this? I have a hard time trying to keep all the information given to me in my head I want to become better but I don't think I will... Any tips on how to remember things when working?

This video came out 3-4 years too late. After this time span I am still pretty bad at scripting. I just learned how to effectively use for loops.
