  • Oli London has had a controversial career on social media. This 33-year-old influencer made headlines by transitioning into a "korean man." Oli received backlash for identifying as transracial and appropporation Korean culture. To further his controversy, Oli then transitioned into a "korean woman" before completing transforming his life. He's currently identifying as himself, a white Englishman, and using his platform to speak out against the transgender movement. What's really going on with Oli?! Check out his book linked below and let's get into it.

It almost seems as if the surgery is to hid his hurt over his relationship with his Dad. I hope that he is in counseling so he can have a respectful, safe, place to voice his feelings. 💕🙏

      He has been so problematic and spread so many lies about the lgbtq community. Im sorry if he had a hard childhood, and if he struggled with his identity but its not an excuse to do what he's done. You should watch the H3 interview, or just do some research on him. I mean in the interview he said drag queens go into schools and expose themselves, and doctors are pushing sex change operations on kids. He stole an ethnicity and now just says oh yeah that wasn't cool but Korean people liked it. watching this video its so clear that he is trying to sweep all the awful things he's done under the rug and get people to feel sorry for him and apparently its working.

Children don't need to be fast tracked through a gender process they don't understand or confused at a young age because there are life long consequences. I agree! Since when do we let children make permanent decisions like this?? Choosing if they want to be able to have children while they are still children?? Choosing to have their genitals changed with a process that may leave them with genitals that don’t even work? Choosing to never have an orgasm? These are not choices a child should be making. It’s quite terrifying to me… let them decide once they become adults.

    This is the first interview with Oli that I felt like he shared many of his thoughts honestly and freely, and the first one when I genuinely liked him. After watching this, I changed my opinion of him, I saw a person, not a social media clout. And as a young teacher - I agree with a lot of his views on children's transition problems. I am young, and I grew up with more knowledge about the Trans community, I have trans friends, and I support it, but I do not support medical transition being available for children or teenagers. In most cases, their body will be permanently changed, it's not harmless, and often they struggle a lot because they don't have appropriate support. Also, when you are young, you are lost, and you hate your body, it's going through changes and social media makes us self-conscious (been there). If I were a 13-year-old today and someone told me that I could get a community of supporting people, a place to belong, and a cure for my problems - I would go for it, I was lonely and severely depressed, and I was a tomboy feeling bad about my "girly side". I always want to support my students, I adore them and I want to help, always, but I really don't want to see them hurt in the future if they find out it was a wrong decision to transition.

    • @sjaelfre
      @sjaelfre Месяц назад

      You shouldn't be a teacher when you're a terf. Stop parroting that tired tomboy talking point out of your script, it's so bloody transparent. Tomboy is not trans. Trans people know themselves. Just stop it.

    This man has way more balanced takes than I expected! Clearly he has grown a lot from the whole transracial thing. He is right, all these new ways of identifying tends to make people think they can identify as anything-which is inherently incorrect obviously. I love the way he talks about the slippery slope it’s created in society and I appreciate his respect toward women and how a lot of us feel trampled over by the trans movement/activists. And I agree Dylan Mulvaneys whole schtick is simply a parody of “womanhood”, Dylan has been disrespectful toward women time and time again so it’s hard for me to believe they are genuinely a trans woman.

Detransitioners are, ofc, number one because they have literally gone through it. But Oli's also had quite the journey of transitioning and making major changes, very publicly so. Very, very publicly. We all bore witness and talked smack about this person claiming to be trans-Korean. Oli is very brave for putting himself out there, and is definitely earning much respect from anyone who actually listens to what's being said. Balls of steel, no surgery required!

      @peachxtaehyung right. Majority of ppl who transitioned when they were well into adult hood. There isn't data for the new wave, because it's currently happening. Except swenden, or Germany, cant remember, but their trans suicide rate is 19 times higher than average pop...yikes. Did you know when you take hormone blockers and cross sex hormones your genitals will stop developing...so that means genital dysfunction for the rest of your life. An adult male with an underdeveloped penis or a 16 year old girl who's gone through menopause. And we somehow think kids under the age of 18 can CONSENT to that? Yet they cannot consent to sex, tattoos, drugs or alcohol but can make a life changing decision.okay. you should really listen to de transitioners stories. Very sad stuff, and they matter. It's just trendy to be trans and it's encouraged, you get cool points. But once you grow up, you realize cool points don't roll over into adult hood. And this is coming from a communist hard leftist feminist whatever the fuck and a person who EMENSLY struggled with body dysphoria and being a woman. I, was at one point in the late teens early 20s publicly passing as a male, and watched hoursss of trans content and wanted my breasts gone, off me. Now, im thankful I can breastfeed my child. I had to overcome the pain of womanhood and girlhood and come to terms with the fact that changing my gender wouldn't change what happened to me or who I am inside. Nor would it change the reality of the way woman are treated. I have no problem standing with trans ADULTS but humans need to fully develop and go through the pain of coming of age before making potentially life ruining decisions. Common sense, BUT I also believe in a one child policy and over population so fuck it, less people who can reproduce and higher suicide rates. lol idc

    Yes so excited I love how Sloan stays neutral yet asks the questions everyone wants to know, Sloan really let’s the guest show who they really are. Thank you for another great interview I’ve watched a lot of deep dives on oli London and I’ve always wondered what started the plastic surgery journey for them hearing the background history gives a new understanding

    What a sincere and transparent individual and a beautiful, concise speaker. He seems genuine when it comes to wanting to allow dignity and relevance to as many individuals and groups as possible without taking from or oppressing another or forcing a way of being on another. I'm hopeful to hear and see more of this man, hopefully much continued success and happiness to him. Another great interview, Sloan. Thank you🙏

    I think this man is so intelligent. And the reason is; because he went through a full blown addiction. If you match his story of struggles up with someone who is in drug addiction recovery they overlay perfectly. When you’ve been through SO much it comes with a lot of wisdom. He’s logical, he’s well spoken, and he’s honest and humble. What a great guy. Honestly. He’s so right and he’s amazing for speaking up about what he’s been through. ❤ great guest Sloan.

    Much respect towards Oli ❤ he/they seems to be very clear minded and more alert to the situations surrounding themselves. LOTS AND LOTS OF HEALING OVER THE YEARS. The way they speak about kids needing more guidance instead of going straight to hormones or surgery REEAAALLLY makes me respect them. Finally we're talking about the psychological damage the younger generation is going through or going to experience. Its so heartbreaking to know kids are pushed to such extremes when its the adults literally pushing the extremes onto them 😢
    If your child is wanting to express themselves through gender identity thats perfectly OKAY. Just don't be telling a 10 y.o they need their P cut off to feel acceptable. Thats NOT how society should be handling things..... seems immature to say but the way society handles gender identity in young children is like pushing the dust under the rug and saying the room is clean. You can't let a young child think they need to mutilate themselves just to be accepted. Its just so wrong, THANK YOU OLI for saying such a strong opinion.

    look, i get everyone has their opinions and they should, and I like the fact that Sloan does interviews with people that are very controversial to get the stories out there, but I have no care to take someone seriously by their bashing of others when they did the exact same thing. Surgery to look another race, but Oli wants to slam Dylan for a higher voice at an award show or wearing certain clothes? Too me Oli is just like Jefree Star, super controversial but then wants to attack others and have their fans also attack those same people while be buried in many controversies themselves. Did watch though, totally love Sloan.

    I’m a 33 year old woman (straight) and I’ve never been into makeup, or hair. I have always wanted bigger boobs lol but for the most part I really have never cared about physical appearances some of this sounds so foreign to me, I can’t imagine looking in the mirror and really struggling with my image, it must be so hard.
    Im happy to say I don’t really give a shit about my appearance! I mean, I do wear makeup, I want to look beautiful, but I care so much less about my looks compared to everything else in my life.

    Respect for having him on. I appreciate his honesty and it has helped me understand his journey a bit more. Over in Asia, mental health itself is a culturally sensitive topic actually although it has improved a bit over the last 20 years. 20 years ago, I couldn’t even go to visit my best friend in Japan because my PTSD meds were banned over there. Those are now permitted and they seem to be more open-minded about it but even so, it is still a very mind-over-matter kind of mentality so it doesn’t really surprise me that he received no consultation for that stuff before his surgeries. In fact, it’s difficult to find mental health professionals in those countries. They are still pretty sparse. At the same time, I think those countries do a much better job of serving the physically disabled than we do. They have a great deal of respect for the physically disabled b/c of the whole mind/matter thing but when someone is struggling with their mind, they’re viewed as weak or useless. They don’t really know what to do with them. I’m hoping to go over there at some point and exchange ideas and hopefully, formulate solutions. We could help each other if we really tried. ❤
