No. The A330 is over ETOPS-180 since 2009. It can fly more then 3 hours with one engine, enough to get to an airport like Gander (Newfoundland, Canada) on one end or Western Europe on the other end.
2 engines to cross the atlantic,, one engine goes your done !!! boeing has 3 or 4 leaving a backup for engine failure , Airbus is playing withh fire. Im flying swiss ait from ewr to cdg in 3 weeks , and kinda scared about it , but on a tour you cant choose the airline.
