yet it's felts so fresh with her own flair and I'm all for new generation street fighter!
If Kimberly is the "New ninja" of SF6 it means that probably, one "classic ninja" like Zeku, Guy or Ibuki will not join the roster in future neither ad a DLC. I'm not sayin' Vega/Balrog, because I think that could be a good DLC.
Juri has a cool design, very badass!
The animations are breathtaking. Kimberly's wall run super is painstakingly done and there's so much attention to detail! From the ninja style run to the actual steps up the sides of the screen to differentiated attacks. Love it. And Juri's animations all spell unhinged goth psychopath... the physical contortions, twisted facial expressions, and pinpoint pupils all spell really bad news. Love it when Capcom has the time to polish these characters!

The newcomers so far look incredible and they are killing it with the redesigns of all the old characters while staying true to their personality Juri looks sick!

Juri having a lot more of her SF4 style in her attacks and design is awesome, as much as I like the way she looked in SFV I missed a lot of tools that were cut from her previous kit, can’t wait to try her in 6!

I was concerned at first but this Evo delivered everywhere. So many godlike reveals from every developer and franchise involved. Juri looks so good and I love Kimberly’s aesthetic and animations. SF6 is shaping up to be the best SF. Instant 3rd Strike vibes.

I find it interesting how the route they went with for another Bushin-Ryu user was a bit of a foil for Guy’s grouchy demeanor with someone youthful and spunky. I can imagine Guy just silently scowling and shaking his head like a disapproving grandpa, heh.

The SFV tournament at EVO was fire, but the reveal of Kimberly & Juri set everything ablazed. Kimberly looks amazing and I could see a trace of Guy and Zeku ninja skills on her, she'll be a loads of fun. And Juri is my main girl she looks awesome in SF6 and I'm glad that they brought back her dive kick from SF4. Now that I got my 2 mains Juri and Luke all I ask now is either Adom or Dee Jay next but I'll be happy regardless cause SF6 shaping up to be the best fighting game of 2023, Let's freaking GO!

I love it when they bring something completely new to Street Fighter. First we had a drunken boxer that can breakdance, and now we have a ninja that uses spray cans as part of her arsenal.
I hope Capcom provides us with more newcomers like these before and after Street Fighter 6 releases.
And it's a true testament to how popular Juri is when she's revealed before other iconic Street Fighter characters who predate her.

Seeing a Black Kunoichi from the American streets in a major fighting game franchise is giving me chills. It also looks like she has hella combo potential as a rushdown type (wink wink - Cammy main). I wouldn't be surprised if someone pitched the idea of a new final fight or remake with Kimberly involved.
Capcom is making moves towards a larger audience with this one, and I'm here for the ride.

I watched Kimberly's entire trailer in slo-mo heres what I found:
the opening is meant to show she has Run, the elbow drop normal (jump down medium punch)
and her own variant of hozanto
she has bushin chain and the throw variation
they intentionally showed the the teleport being fast enough to dodge sand blast. that move is basically an anti fireball function
. maybe be used to help follow up spray can hits
that jump move where she bounces off is her bushin flip and it seems to have a kick, punch and throw variant, the ex version juggles. its basically Maki's version of the move
medium bushin tatsu is shown. guy is the only bushin with a tatsu, this is indicative that she is Guy's student specifically. (also officially confirmed)
she has guy's normal air throw animation from alpha
ex air throw OTG's and can combo into bushin flip follow up(!)
Standing HP into ex-run grab. wall bounces. this combos into a sliding elbow I have to assume is Hozanto (her hozanto may lose fireball invul since teleport servess that purpose) which causes a float state that followed by a light tatsu that only hits once (I'm assuming this is light tatsu because its landed after hozanto a'la SF4 and it shares the mk tatsu animation.
you only see her level3 and maybe her level two supers.
Kimberly looks so cool in her gear and nice to have a different ninjitsu type. Did KOF XV predict SF6 aesthetics? Kimberly and Isla.
JURI IS SO COOL AND HYPED. SHE HAS A TRAP MIX ON HER THEME!!! HELL YEAH.

Have to admit, didn't expect Juri to get some of her old SF4 moves back - and damn am I glad she did, and then some. Her redesign looks good, a lot better than what they gave her in SF5, and honestly a lot better than what I was afraid of when I first heard she would be coming back. Then again, the character designer(s) so far has pretty much nailed the outfits for all of the characters so far, so I guess I may have been worrying over nothing. Kimberly on the other hand? She came straight out the left field. I did not know she had anything to do with the Bushin-ryu, but goddamn if her style did not pique my interest. She looks really good in motion and I can't wait to get try her when the game comes out - Guy and Ibuki were some of my favorite characters in the past Street Fighter games, and I've got a feeling Kimberly will be joining them. I raise my hat to the team behind this game; you're really nailing it with these character reveals.

Juri is looking really great. Way better than that crap version in SFV. Love the SFIV reference in her super attack. Definitely can't wait to try her in this game! I also honestly cannot wait to see Rashid, out of all the SFV newcomers, Rashid has definitely become a favorite of mine.

Street fighter 5 is still very fun, however some of the new characters are really cool and I love to see them return in one way or another, I'm glad Rashid and Ed are returning, but I love to see menat, fang(since his protege will be part of the roster obviously), and Laura make a return.
1:41 That forward step during fireball store. That makes me so happy. We spent how many years in SFV with the atrociously low range fuha store kick with a gigantic hurtbox extending ahead of her, so the idea that we can cancel into it at the end of adult blockstrings sounds really good.
The gameplay on these two looks absolutely insane. The air combos look very fun.
I love how youthful and jumpy Kimberly’s Bushinryu appears to be ❤️

@@raihidara I think Abel and Viper still have potential. I'd like to believe El Fuerte could have been (and still could be) awesome, but Capcom doesn't collaborate, they create characters with shallow plots and then abandon them. This should stop. They should make justice to all these characters, they first showed up for a reason and should eventually make new appearances to give the franchise more diversity considering they are classic characters already. I can't forget Eagle and the other SF1 guys. Everybody should have their deserved spot under the sun.

Kim seems like a mix of Ibuki and Guy as well as Isla from KOF XV. I'm glad they toned back Juri's design to something closer to the original and went back to playing up her "black widow" nature as opposed to the "crazy for its own sake" we seemed to get in V.

I really like Kimberly, and I like that she inherited Bushinryu from Guy giving them a successor. Juri also looks really cool and I like that they somewhat combined her SF4 & 5 Designs.
Always awesome to have Juri back. Never would have expected Kimberly to be a Bushinryu user, pretty cool to see a new character continuing Zeku, Guy, and Maki's legacy. Definitely hyped for both of these characters.

Didn’t expect Kimberly to be a ninja and I’m so hyped for that but hopefully ibuki is still in later down the line in a couple years still
graphics are looking very good! great facial expressions on the models! hyped to see the rest of the characters.
From my view Kimberly is Guy or Zeku's apprentice (she uses the Izuna drop, the Bushinryu Senpuu Kyaku, and Bushinryu style raging demon), Juri has a revamped of her Street Fighter 4 Ultras, and she also disrespects her opponent by sitting on them (kinda how Hwoarang does in Tekken 4 - Tekken 7). I also love the combo system feels like an HD Mugen mechanic
She also uses the ninja sickle elbow drop from one of the early cuts in her section of the video.
She's definitely gonna be my main

There's a LOT of good in these reveals. Too much to type. So I'll keep it short...for now. This game is looking and sounding amazing AF! New face Kimberly representing Bushin-ryu. And returning face, and back in truly sadistic form, Juri both look very promising. IF, those are their themes (I hope they are), then the music for both sound perfect. I noticed a lot of tried and true Bushin-ryu attacks and techniques in Kim's trailer and her young, spunky, and colorful flair makes them look so much better. While Juri, even with many of her familiar moves and more, feel as though she was meant for this style of Street Fighter over her previous two incarnations. With her having, what seems like, a modern update to her original look in SF4. I'm so happy Juri has made it this far in the Street Fighter series. It seems like only yesterday she was revealed as a newcomer in the expansion Super Street Fighter 4 alongside fan awaited veterans and Hakan.
This is shaping up to be a great new gen of Street Fighter. Can't wait to see more. Hopefully one of these characters I'll fall in love with enough to actually play Street Fighter again. So far, Kimberly is looking really fun to play. Who can resist such a smile? Keep it up Capcom. The HYPE is HERE!!!

Deejay’s first appearance is far better rooted in « black » culture than an influenced ninja girl if they wanna go that way. Elena’s kapoeira style doesn’t scream western culture either.
But hey I do get your point, they say things for the sake of saying things, not for the audience that is actually interested in buying the product.
To be fair Elena did have a very terrible design, the white hair that wasn't even natural in the very stereotypical outfit so honestly I never really cared much for her

Man, CAPCOM really put a lot of detail into the characters face and bodies. You can even see Juri's stomach folds as she sits on Jamie. And just the details on Juri's nail polish and eyes are amazing. They're finally stepping into more realism now, which they should done long time ago.
Eh honestly i wish they stuck with a more cellshaded route (like the one they added in SFV but more improved obviously) but the way they're handling the "realism" here is alright.
