- A.K.I., the maniacal mistress of poison, will slither her way into Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub in Street Fighter 6 on September 27.
Feeding off orders from her master, she injects poison into enemies that dare stand within striking distance - all with a smile. You can’t fix her, but she will fix you.
Owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition will automatically get access to A.K.I. when she unlocks. Get a taste of her poison for an hour with a Rental Fighter ticket, which can be obtained in Fighting Passes.

This is one of the most intriguing characters in a fighting game that I have ever seen. Street Fighter is my favorite franchise and it is fantastic to see Capcom put forth a lot of care into this game.

Street Fighter 6 is magnificent. It just reels you back in the moment you finish watching an excerpt of the gameplay. The story and the characters are some of the things that make this whole thing complete.
The way she crawl using just her shoulder rotation alone is really something else. Also love that double Kung Fu hop kick. Those movements are legit.

Thank you! That’s the fighter I was thinking about. Gen practices Chinese Kung Fu but his style is mantis and crane style. A.K.I. fighting style is Chinese kung fu snake style.

The animation in this game is really S+ tier. So fluid, full of character and very clear.
Capcom killed it with animations in recent years, their animators did miracles in Monster Hunter World. And SF6, I'd argue, is the best animated fighting game in... maybe forever, possibly.

A.K.I. has precisely that intense, unhinged demeanor you'd expect from a serial killer. That one move where she wraps herself around you and stabs you repeatedly in the face was animated PERFECTLY.
Idk why y'all keep saying this, they both get satisfaction from harming and killing people just in different ways, they're literally the same in that sense.

I don’t even play this game, I just happened to be recommended this video, but her design is so unique that I can’t stop thinking about it. I love her voice, the characterization is 👌🏽
She's incredible. I was so hyped when she was announced and watched this gameplay trailer nonstop back in late August when it dropped. Ever since her debut on Sept 27th, she's been my main and I haven't stopped playing her since. She's so fun and so fashion at the same time.
Wow she is incredible, She moves a lot like my favorite character Voldo from Soul Calibur with the speed of Vega. I am loving it.

@joshualocke2821 you see it, too. I would say that you are also correct in your observation of noticing Ivy as well. Her thrusting attacks and blade extension attacks ( forward, arial, and underground ) are very similar to Ivy's and not just the attacks but most of the body movements as well. I am not complaining as combining to of my favorites and giving them the well-deserved speed boost both Voldo and Ivy deserve. I am looking forward to this character.
She can make fire-ball basically non-existent. Her evade is basically ground level. She can switch sides too. She will be really weird to fight.

Her animations are so hypnotic. I love how they incorporated actual Shéquán applications with fantastical elements. The developers knocked it out of the park again.

I was checking out the jp version of this trailer and I gotta say... the en VA gives a much crazier vibe for A.K.I., especialiy when she performs her Critical Art. I'm truly impressed how the english VAs have gotten better overall since the SFIV days.

I've always enjoyed characters who move in a preposterous way and A.K.I.'s slithering motions and crazy almost quadruple jointed bends hit that note perfectly. Just like the horror movie icons of yesteryear.

@@estebandelgado2002 i think thats the premise. by applying her poisonous cocktail in the right mixture, she can create a toxic effect so deadly that she causes her enemy to either be completely paralysed, die in swift agonising fashion, or even cause the persons very body to disintergrate or dissolve in seconds.

It will be three months since launch tomorrow and I have still not gotten tired of this game yet,everything about it is so engaging and rewarding to me,I am so excited for the future of this game and to see how it evolves,CAPCOM really knocked it out of the park,kudos to everyone involved( pun maybe intended)

I'm hyped for A.K.I. in this game. The creativity with her seems endless. Also, I love the She Quan fighting style element A.K.I. has. It really adds to the character. F.A.N.G.-inspired but she's different in her own way
Like Christy in Dead or Alive she has She Quan(That Fighting Style like or this is just Super Powers to it because of her Poison)

I've always love the wacky/freaky characters in fighters (F.A.N.G., Twelve, Necro, Hsien-Ko, Peacock, Zafina, Voldo etc.).

Not to start shit or anything, but it’s so funny seeing Tekken trying to make a quirky female character and the very best they can come up with is that she likes coffee, while SF6 makes these bombastic personalities seem absolutely effortless. Lots of lessons to be learned for the rest of the genre with this one.

Idk, I feel like a lot of the new Tekken 7 characters didn't get a fair trial like the previous characters because they didn't get a story mode. That said, I do agree with what you said about most of the new Tekken 7 characters but I do think fighters like Claudio, Leroy, Lidia, and Kazumi are pretty cool Tekken 7 characters already that have potential to be even better once they have a story mode to flesh out their character.
@@micahsmith5814Lack of arcade mode endings really dragged down all the new comers. I mean some characters got a goofy semi story chapter but it didn't really help when only half the cast got one. I mean only one dlc character got a side story chapter, so how are we supposed to care about characters like Fahkuram outside of design.

It's very impressive how they have rendered the sheer lace of her arm/sleeves. Its like you can see through it, but it still has it's own seams/creases/reflections of its own. Top stuff.

She absolutely was trained by fang/ his organization. Apart from just the poison, she also has the same weird slide and after her level 1 she flaps her arms like wings just like fang.

That character is instantly my favorite streetfighter character of all time, wtf, this suits more in Mortal Kombat though, I think Kira (from the black dragon) could use this moves and this poison-addiction in Mortal Kombat.
The move where she lays down on the ground and crawls is crazy
Just that establishing shot of her subtly swerving and barely rubbing shoulders with crowd is the first Ive seen done for establishing a snake themed character. She still has the usual snake-person tropes, but whoever did her animations had awesome ideas.
Like if we're talking about iconic cinematic shots (Akira Slides, Walking-Away-Not looking-at-Explosion) Whatever the heck 0:11 was, it was pretty close to that.

Her appearance and face are very beautiful. Its gameplay is inspired by different characters, but it combines them all with new moves in a wonderful way. The visuals are beautiful, the clothes are beautiful, the effects are beautiful, the music is beautiful. Bring more far eastern characters. There are no karate players. Also more characters should come quickly

It most likely is, iirc most of the character trailers had their themes playing in the background. And I agree, her theme sounds so badass! I love what they've done with the OST, so many great tracks =D

I know this is a fictional universe where these characters beat the snot out of each other with super-powerful moves. But the suspension of belief for me to love A.K.I. ability to poison these folks, then they pop back up for another round in combat is crazy lol.
