Listening to this speech by Malcolm for the first time shows me why he was so controversial. He may have caused violent ideas against any and all who did not agree with his opinion on what should be. I remember working off the books for this individual who standing in the street with him one day I felt that I needed to protect him because at that time he was my source of income. A few years later he was ill, I had moved on to a regular legal job on the books but I didn’t forget him and visited him in the hospital . I still thank that man for helping me make a living for a whole year and I’m not ashamed to say it 43 years later he helped save my life. Am I Malcolm’s house negro? Mr Ed wasn’t white and I’m not black but that man helped save my life and I loved him for it.
Didn’t understand the ultimate power of love! But did understand that our fight for equality was the wrong fight. We are all different. We don’t need to be in spaces where not wanted but we do need to be free to be in and protect our own space.

The nation of Islam read Messages to the Black Man by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Listening to this speech by Malcolm for the first time shows me why he was so controversial. He may have caused violent ideas against any and all who did not agree with his opinion on what should be. I remember working off the books for this individual who standing in the street with him one day I felt that I needed to protect him because at that time he was my source of income. A few years later he was ill, I had moved on to a regular legal job on the books but I didn’t forget him and visited him in the hospital . I still thank that man for helping me make a living for a whole year and I’m not ashamed to say it 43 years later he helped save my life. Am I Malcolm’s house negro? Mr Ed wasn’t white and I’m not black but that man helped save my life and I loved him for it.
