I am still on negative as my friends from Moldova can't play this amazing game. Sony has Romanian support team and Moldova is 90% Romanian speakers. I find it dog shit that they have forced a country to not be able to play

It's like Japanese corporations' C-suites have a mental level sakoku, not open to the idea of letting everyone access to their products and the desire to control everything. Which is actually not very far from the truth considering Japanese zaibatsus were overwhelmingly run by former samurai and descendants.
Same goes for Nintendo.
Recently on Reddit, I made a post reminding people that Sony has still blocked several countries from buying this game. I was downvoted and warned by a moderator for being 'too salty'. And I'm just like... is that where we are now? Not even a few months later and people are already forgetting about Sony's decision, and shutting down anyone who tries to remind them of that fact?
there we go, that's exactly what we were talking about. This is acceptable for many as they are not targeted.

Game was great, then Sony ruined it, People got angry, Sony said they would reconsider, Sony didn't reconsider and game is still ruined
I played the game a lot and when that happened I was very invested with the rest of the community but in the end this still kinda killed the fun I had with my friends and we eventually stopped or paused playing until further notice.
what would make you come back?

I guess this is recent for SONY but was thinking that the company that had like giant data breaches, the company that brought us you can play nut outside, and weird avant garde baby commercial probably doesn't really have their act together

I have left my review as negative and haven't touched the game since the region lock went live. I am beyond frustrated with the situation, I really really want more community pushback as there has been no word on if things will be undone. The only thing we know is that "Discussions are ongoing" but after all this time what has it amounted to?

Sony did not fumble it.. it was steam and Arrowhead.. they knew and sold it anyways.

Steam doesn't know where you are allowed to sell or not sell a game, that is the duty of the seller, in this case, Sony see 3:07
Sony was caught (!) red-handed altering the "A Sony account is NOT mandatory" to "A Sony account IS mandatory."
Yes Arrowhead and/or Pilestedt missed telling the players the upcoming change, which was btw. enforced by Sony See 2:55

1. Countries laws prohibit sony

Sony isn't banned in these 170 countries and yes consumer fraud was one reason they changed their decision back not to enforce the mandatory accounts.
Yes some games are banned in certain regions, that has nothing to do with Valve, only that they are complying with local laws.
And yes isn't it obvious that the outrage comes from the PC side? The Sony Players are already broken into submission, accepting every anti-consumer practice.
We PC Players are used to our freedom.

Steam does not regulates what countries can buy a specific game. Publishers do. And that's Sony.

Do you really think that all of the countries in Africa (that does not have any strict IT laws btw) banned Sony? What about south/eastern Europe? South America?
Better yet: Sony is not selling the game on steam in 170 regions but if you have PS4/5 console you can buy it even from Russia.
I don't know what loopy land you're from, but everything you say have nothing in common with what's going on
