Saying someone is "beautiful" doesn't always correlate to their physical appearance and could be in reference to their personality and other attributes like strength, determination, focus, skill, kindness, ECT all of which Simone seems to possess.

Biles is an amazing woman. She is a true symbol of greatness and focus. She puts in the work to get these points. What a great role model for girls and women in all areas of life.
Except she needs to just like many celebrities get off social media lol but to do that and also be that great I guess I can't even knock her for that lol.
Simone has changed the sport and the first time I saw her stick that double flip/twist dismount was spot on. My first thought was that everyone else knew they were now competing for the silver medal. How she has stayed healthy, and at the top of her game, for all of these years is simply amazing! She is the best.
She's NOT the first to change the sport and WON'T be the last. Folks need to get with the program and adjust with the times. Every generation brings new ideas and that keeps the sport FRESH!

@@vaderladyl I agree, but, we should recognize a great athlete who has advanced the sport in a way that few others ever come close to doing. It has also brought renewed interest to the sport. Most of all, she is also a great ambassador and role model for those who suffer from the same mental condition that she deals with, and has pushed through, bringing awareness to the disability.
Simone does a great with what she loves ❤. She makes the other girls feel that they have the ability to make new changes to this sport. With drive, grace, momentum, energy, strength, skill, and enthusiasm you can do most anything to stand out stay on top and keep going for the win. ❤😊👍🏾
Simone is a phenom! She has talent that she was born with. My mom sent me to gymnastics class in the 60’s so I’ve been a devoted fan of the sport since that time.

A complex and beautiful routine. It looks almost like a floor exercise routine amazing when you realize it’s done on a 4 inch wide piece of wood. Wow, she is beyond talented.

I made that plural.....because they do lowball her on the floor and vault and have made the excuse that what she does is dangerous, and they want to discourage other athletes from trying it and hurting themselves. I'd make sure to pay attention to the news if I were you.

I watched a routine she did a long time ago I don’t rmr what the competition was but they were talking like the skill should’ve been higher rated and talked about other’s 🤸 safety and whatnot. I don’t follow gymnastics much or remotely know how the scoring works ha but it feels like that is punishing her for being so damn good and in a league of her own..the ‘GOAT’ club😂 Sure she wins, and rightfully so but I feel like if I did a sport I’d want to know what I’m actually rated at based on the normal scoring. She should be scored fairly and accurate to her own gymnastics, not based on what others can’t do or what they might be ‘tempted’ to do🙄

I am 55 years old and through out my life I have seen many gymnastic competitions and the one thing I can say is that there has never been a gymnast like her ever and there never will be. She is one of a kind.

I’ve never seen an aerial view before. Seeing how close the judges are and the camera people gave me so much anxiety 😅. Even more kudos to her and all the rest of the ladies for their concentration and focus with so many eyes on them. With so many people watching me that intently and that close up, I’d probably feel so awkward that I would trip and fall on a flat surface.

Today, it's all about spins, jumps, and moving thru a routine without any feeling. The days of choreographed graceful, smooth, seemless, cohesive links of elements that flow, are gone. It's all flash, rather than also including artistic, ballet like talent elements that showcase their musicality of gymnastics beauty, or what used to be. One routine looks like all the others, from floor to beam to horse. It's like they just see how fast they can tick off the list in their head, trick one, trick two, trick three.
Talking about style and artistry like you can get out of bed without tumbling down head first. Ode
