- Amira Willighagen appeared as a guest performer at the annual MAX Proms concert held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, on 02 December 2017.
During the first half of the show, Amira performed a medley of two numbers viz. 'O mio babbino caro' and 'Your Love', a song set to the theme of the movie 'Once Upon A Time In The West' composed by Ennio Morricone. She was accompanied by the multiple Grammy Award winning Metropole Orchestra and The Inspirational Community Gospel Choir, both from The Netherlands.
The show was produced by the local Dutch broadcasting company, Omroep Max, and the first half of the show was aired on the national Dutch Public Broadcast channel, NPO 2, on 25 December 2017. The second half of the show will be aired on the same channel on 31 December 2017.

this really is quite extraordinary the purity of her voice the wonderful top range how is it possible that a 13 year old child can carry this off so effortlessly, only very few adult singers could manage this song , she has a god given gift and is using it beautifully, i hope she is never over trained but retains the thrilling natural quality and timbre of this incredible voice

I have spent the better part of two weeks listening to every song that this beautiful Young Lady has performed. Her perfection brings tears to My eyes with almost every song. The music from Her album With All My Heart is some of the finest music ever. Her performance of Your Love,and follow Your heart is just out of this world. I never had a Daughter,but I do have Grand Daughters. I some what Know the joy that Amira,s Father feels. I think that as Amira becomes a full grown Woman,She will be acclaimed as the best singer in Her class of music. Even at seventeen,I have not heard any one that can sing as beautiful as She does. What a Gem, Amira is a gift to the world,and Her music makes this world a better place. Joe
Obviously we cannot predict the future but believe you me she is on track to be the greatest classical soprano eclipsing some very famous names.
Now half a year later I still find this performance the best and most attractive so far, where Amira in the second part is striding towards the audiance, leaving the orchestra and choir with their two conductors well behind her to perform almost submerged in this beautiful song with her warm voice. A voice that comes along once every few generations. Wielded by a beautiful girl, who is still young and at the birth of her potential, and as sensitive as she is smart. All she needs to do is not get lead astray by evil or selfabsorption.
She once said she will only sing if people want to hear her still. If not, she'll become a lawyer.
I can't imagine a girl this sensitive and in tune with the world to ever want to become a lawyer. But, luckily, as long as people keep listening to her she will not have to.
And I KNOW she will never have to :)

Her she is at the age of thirteen. A beautiful young woman. Do you ever notice how she takes command of the stage as she walks out? She looks so regal and so in command and looks over at the maestro as if to say, "let's get going!" Then she does a perfect presentation of "O Mio Babbino Caro," demonstarting her control of her voice and how natural it is for her. She is so stunning in her gown as she walks out to the audience and sings "Your Love" a song that the writer has asked her to sing before any other singer. She is just absolutely incredible, incredible! And when she finished singing, she courtseys and turns and leaves the stage. She don't need all the accolades that most other singers seem to need. Beauty, exceptional talent, and humility, and the most beautiful voice in the world.

The performance of "your Love" is the best I have heard and I don't think it will be topped by anyone to date, absolutely beautiful. Amira just gets better and better every time she performs and it seems that she is becoming the music or the music is becoming her. Prayers and Best wishes for Amira and her family.

+Paul Bauza - I did watch a couple of her performances and she is very good and more dramatic than Amira but I believe that as far as the music goes Amira would be my choice.
Amira is my choice as well, very romantic voice, just piercing my mind. Can not stop listening to her.
I wish more of us will support Amira and her foundation buying DVD's and CD's, I did, it's priceless.

I am truly addicted to Amira's voice. I listen to at least one song every day. Amira has such a beautiful voice. I hope those vocal cords get enough rest and time to recover following a concert to preclude any permanent damage. After all Amira is still very young and her voice is still developing. One last point, Amira is beautiful both on the outside and within her heart.

Lawrence Applebaum you have much more discipline than I do. I have to listen to at least 30 or 40 or more songs every day. I can't help myself. I especially love to go back to the beginning and listen to that incredible voice evolve practically day by day. Its just astounding that she seems to have the same impact on me no matter how many times I have heard the song. No other entertainer has ever had that effect on me before. Addictive doesn't begin to describe Amira.

jennifer wedgbury I received my copy of the new CD 2 weeks ago, and I have played it in its entirety 4 or 5 times a day every day. Just beautiful ! I have to admit I prefer her live performances best of all. I hope Amira will sing some her new songs at CIG 2018. Her live performances in the big venues just can't be beat. I think performing live brings out and extra emotional component in Amira's performances, an added level of energy that flows between her and the audience that brings her to a whole other level.
Amira is that rare artist who sounds and performs better live then in the studio. Rare talent indeed.

The thing is John Denver just loved to sing, country roads he must have sung thousands of times and still sang it as the first time. These 2 have something that most others haven't, that's what puts them apart ...

She is such a fairy tale princess! I loved her audition on the Got Talent show when she said, at 9 years old, that she wanted to be either an opera singer or an Olympic athlete. And the nonchalant way she said it, you just believed that she would be either or both!
