    During the intro it sounds like the engineer turned up the actual live guitar which made it evident they were using a backing track. Either that or they use a program to run the effects pedals and it switched some how. I watched another video of them playing this live and was surprised how spot on the guitar tone was for the riff. Well, now I know why haha.

      Nope he was just switching pedals so the sound changed, you can see him changing his pedals after the intro like something went wrong. They don’t use backing tracks

      Good point. Nicks definitely playing but the “second” guitar, maybe nick was running a stereo rig and activated the second amp? Or like you said, maybe it was the engineer
