- With HIP-139 passing, we're seeing the end of life on CBRS radios in connection with helium hotspot mining. We knew it's was on it's way out.

He’s back!!!
Definitely miss your knowledge.
I'll try to be more proactive!
So very true, we hardly knew you
Well it was a good run for a year I suppose.
@4:26 So true 😢
Yeah. Wish she stayed with Comcast.
Justin, lokking at you choose F-150 Lightning, where Tesla had other options - I think you do not do your DYOR. I had such hopes....
Not sure what you mean.
Helium biggest scammers out there
The end is near.
No. but keep trolling.
How long before the so-called wifi hotspots get phased out? NOT LONG! Bait and switch game.
Well, its a good idea in malls and places people go and sit around.
@@DoItJustinKace CBRS was a good idea too, and look what happened to that.
I don't think the hotspots will get phased out. Probably the only one that won't be.
I will turn off my Helium IOT miners in few days, done with Helium!
OH NO, how are we going to survive now?? The world will end!
I think I'll give it another month. But the end is near for sure.
Thanks for putting this together, as others have expressed, I too have been phased out by Helium. Do not recommend this ponzi project.
Yep. I think it's on it's last leg.
Justine we need a place for everyone to go talk about this. Can’t do it in discord because they will ban people. Need to find a place were all of us cbrs owners can get together and talk about this. Like what are we going to do with this expensive radios. Like I said I have 3 436 radios that have never been open. And all the radios I have up I did not pay to keep them going. It was costing me more in money to keep them on then I would be getting in rewards.
Trade them in for HotSpots and run them on the network till you see your ROI.
What else can you do?
@@paul_bors He can't trade the unused ones in unless they were online during a specific time period. Hate to say it, but they are very expensive paper weights until maybe another project comes along that would require them.
He never opened them. So he can afford not to use them, right? Otherwise, he would have deployed them and won't be in this situation.
Augh. Tough. I'd fight with the credit card company to get your money back. Probably all you can do. I'm told most people who have done so have won.
The WiFi units just aren’t viable for what they claim imo.
If I have a business. And I have Internet. Chances are pretty strong I have WiFi already. Why do I need another device for the same WiFi. I don’t see a benefit to my customers.
Can’t say I disagree. Better rewards might convince someone.
There is no benefit your place like most places already have a unit set up already. You don’t need that stupid helium wifi junk box
Because the Hotspot from Helium is a VPN secured wirh comercial grade security. Thus it protects your business from getting hacked via your company's WiFi since that's not a VPN.
That alone brings value to your business and your customers.
@tomschroeder6399 Well, like you said, that is just your opinion.
Something else that you're forgetting is that most WiFi routers don't support cellular traffic offload.
I have a helium indoor unit in a busy commercial area close to a T-Mobile and it pulls in 30K MOBILE per day.
It has ROI'd 10+ times over since hip-134 was implemented and that is just at the current price of MOBILE($0.001).
wrong.
What do we think the impacts to the helium cryptocurrency would be?
I'm just waiting for the next bullrun!
IMHO it was a mistake to move off $HNT. The intention was wise but scalable... not so much.
Not that the 3rd sub-DAO is coming out for $ENERGY, it makes it more difficult to manage all that tokenomics and etc.
One ring to rule them all!
@@paul_bors maybe I missed something or perhaps need a reminder, there was HNT, then HMT? Then what?? Ha
There was $HNT (main DAO) or Helium v1. It split into $IOT and $MOBILE or Helium v2 and as of HIP-128 $ENERGY is the 3rd subDAO that is coming. Hence the return to a single token makes sense to govern all 3 and any future network, or Helium v3.
@@paul_bors in your opinion and everyone else's, including those that first proposed it. So sorry, no awards for you here.
Hindsight is 20/20. Helium is a pioneer in DePIN,it can happen, it's not like it had a model to follow.
Now, a serious project like Helium would see that it did not work, and course-correct, instead of trying to pretend everything is honky-dory and continue on a sub-optimal path.
Justin are you working with any other cryptos?
I'll try to talk about it as soon as I can.
@@DoItJustinKace r u muzzled atm?
@@alext2664 No. Just on vacation!
I shutdown mine, helium is a shit network that all they do is scam people.
I'll give it a few more weeks.
137 hurt u bad , ah?
Why are your drinks tax deductible? Lol🍻
If I’m making these videos while I’m drinking, then the drinks are part of the production and therefore tax deductible for my business!
Network pays me 2500 to 5k iot a week im selling every pump
Good choice!
You're confusing IOT with Mobile
Trying to compete with multibillion dollar cell services in a mature market was always a bad idea.
Yeah, but maybe they'll pivot.
People Power !!!
they're not competing, they're working with them.
Haha losers invested and lost 🤣🤣
I still made money. So I’m not sure what you mean. It’s definitely not a long-term investment.
