'ANDROID' - a high school short film

Here is yet another high school assessment project that I made in 2017.
There are a lot of things that I would fix up and so I hope to remake it in the future but for now this is it. Hope you enjoy :)))
ANDROID - outline
The film ‘Android’, inspired by the director James Cameron, is a short science fiction film. The story is based around an android, who everyone once thought he was unable to present emotion and an investigation officer, Hope, who opens up his mind to emotions through happiness, sadness and love. However, the android, Kairox, is mysteriously “deactivated” and throughout the film, Hope investigates Dr Roquoe, the creator of Kairox, suspecting him as the murderer. The story is told over a video log by Kairox which is shown during the interrogation of the Doctor. This film will relate to the conventions of James Cameron through cinematography, editing, music, costume and storyline themes.
The storyline themes include machine verses nature, an impossible love, a strong female character and a political statement. The machine verses nature is when Kairox is through to have no emotion as he is a machine, but the nature of his human brain and the teachings of Hope, spark his emotions. The impossible love is between an android and a human and the political statement is labelling - how people label others without knowing what they are capable of. Finally, the strong female character is Hope, who is an investigating officer investigating Kairox’s death.
