Intro Sequence Explanation:
The intro sequence is a chronological history of Silent Hill on their channel.
I did not include Silent Hill 1 since they played that after Silent Hill 3. Shattered Memories is included twice because it was the first Silent Hill game they played, and they also revisited it later with Liam as a full LP. I chose to leave the Shitstorm SH3 out, since SH3 is the comp itself. Even though it didn't make the intro, it does get a mention in the comp itself so it's cool I guess.

Yo the way you intensified the St. Anger colors until it was completely red and then transitioned back to the save screen was fuckin’ slick, dude. I kinda realized what you were going for when I heard the save noise but still it was awesome.

Growing up since the fifth grade watching these guys was something that will live with me forever, and having this LP on the same year of my senior year of high school made it one of my favorite LP’s in the whole channel. Between the soundtrack and intro made it so special I can’t explain it.
Matt and Pat had a special chemistry playing survival horror, especially Silent Hill games, good or bad. Some of their best content came from these LPs

Little known fact: at 1:16:11, when Heather turns around, she is doing so because she heard the a baby crying, similarly to how Harry heard a (recently birthed) baby Heather crying at the end of Silent Hill 1 after killing the cult's reborn god. We don't have a clear answer as to why Team Silent cut out the sound for the baby crying in the final edit (as far as I remember), but it has been officially confirmed that it was originally there.

I managed to get through SH3 only mildly freaked out until that room. That one goddamn room made me more afraid and uncomfortable than anything prior, somehow.

This is a particularly good compilation - I really loved this LP that the boys did for SH3, just had a really nice laidback nostalgic ambience to it. SH3 was already fairly subdued in tone to begin with and the fact that they were just having fun with it really makes this one of their must-watch LPs, imo.

This game is definitely my favorite of the Silent Hill franchise. 4 has a fantastic story and an underrated protagonist, but 3 has better gameplay and Heather is so damn expressive. Her sass and no bullshit attitude is definitely how I’d react to a lot of the crap that happens to her.
4 is good but since when the fuck Henry is an underrated protagonist? He's a shut-in weirdo with no distinguishable features. He reacts to everything as if he's on meds and/or just woke up, and the latter actually makes sense of course.
this was a very good compilation spookycooks , i really like how much you devote yourself to this community by taking on the throne of king of comps.
but you're only human , and like any promise, deadlines can be broken, if you feel physically ill or mentally drained, take a break until you restore your soul energy before resuming work on your maybe swan song.
because although theres alot of cringey union around these 3 fat frenchies, there's always a limit to hold to yourself, finish when you can, make sure it's perfect , once the first few subscribers finish watching the whole thing in the first two days after the upload , it's gonna feel like an end of an era, and the lp itself will be buried under. i hope you understand part of that mindset , specially when thinking about things like Silent Hill 1 or Detroit, because nothing is ever left undone , only planted to grow on someone else's garden, rumor has it someone else wanted to make a omikron compilation, but you probably finish before he does, and honestly ..... one's enough , two is sufficient, three.. is a tad much. so let's see who will win this insane race to the new year, and godspeed , *we the lazy ones about to die salute you.*

I think I like staying away from comps from any of the solo channels. Those aren't channels that get massive views like the main swtcher channel, so it feels like I'm taking too many views away. At the very least, I guess I could have mini-comps or something like that, where I'm very selective about what I include and keep it under 10 minutes or something. Having full blown large scale comps for lps that get like 20k or so views doesn't sit right with me.
i think 5 minute highlight reels could do massive services for the channels's sub count

I still think my favorite part of their playthrough of 1-3 is Pat's serious voice bc of his love for the games and then you go to other videos like with the Downcoming playthroughs he has the goofy voice and I just think it's the funniest shit ever I swear
God, that biking tale in the beginning. Silent Hill has instilled a fear of oppressive mist and fog into me too. I've been in plenty of foggy nights but there have been a few times it was so bad I was going 20-30 miles under the speed limit and wondering if I should just pull over out of fear of hitting something. I could only see like 3 seconds ahead of where my car was. There's nothing like pulling into work and still not seeing the building. "What if this is an omen?"

I've always felt like the ampoules were smelling salts. Instantly irritates the sinus and lungs, causing a sharp increase in blood oxygen content. Used to wake people from fainting and unconsciousness, and as a dubiously-legal means of performance enhancement. Can even be detrimental by hiding the immediately obvious effects of concussion, stroke, or internal trauma.

Heather is my favourite SH character, just due to how silly she is occasionally.
