Excellent unboxing as always, Vas. I think this is an excellent package. An 8 scale buggy doesn't really need anymore than 4S IMO. TC are definitely killing it RN.
Everything except the transmitter looks nice. Coming out of the box, the transmitter sounded like a SNES controller when you're trying to beat Super Metroid: creaky thin plastic. As for the buggy, looks to be another win from TC.
Nice 👍. Looks to be a solid first car . Be interested in your opinion on the remote, hopefully an upgrade on the older ones . Excellent un-boxing Vas , boom ! .
The remote is actually better than the one that comes with the 6S cars, IMO. Sure, it looks toyish and small, but it actually feels good and is well equipped. Not at lot to complain about with it, actually.
Battery tray is not tiny, it just has a height restriction due to the low profile body. A lot of buggies are like this. Best option is to use a soft case 4S and problem solved. I did and it worked out perfect. 😎
@@AussieRCPlayground Good to know, thank you Vas! For an experienced basher looking for a first 1/8th, is the smart money on this or the Typhon 3s do you think? Both similar money, which gives you the biggest smiles? Is the extra power of 4s vs 3s cancelled out by the extra weight?
The 4S Radix was a toned down version of the 6S cars, while this is a whole new platform. I haven't tried a 6S body on this car yet, so will have to see if it fits.
The hobby is what you make it, but to belittle a scale of an RC just because you "like 'em big" is not what this hobby is about. Not everyone can afford big RCs or have the space to run them. It's important to respect others in this hobby - it's not about who has the bigger toys, it's about the fun you have with the ones you have and the people you're with.

Agreed and thank you. 😎
Not too shabby. And another great review 👍
Thanks 👍
Great buggy! Terrible radio. I had the bottom AA battery door break immediately 🤣 I hooked it to my Futaba 3PV and it's brilliant 👍

Nice looking buggy. I'm looking for a buggy. Market Rd Werribee has a nice bmx track with it forgiving grass landing 👌 😂😂. Great video mate 👍 😂
Thank you for the review, one little thing Spark brace does not fit. They do however have a brace to fit in the works
Yes, have since found out the 6S brace doesn't fit.

It’s gonna be like a plane taking off.
The only thing stopping this from being the best value in RC is the Redcat valkyrie. Can't go wrong with either one.
Yeah, but 2 very different styles of RC. Which is why you should have both. 😁
Thanks for the review! Battery tray is tiny. I have struggled to find a 4s that fits the height restriction... Definitely won't take 2 x 2s hardcase.

👍
Damn now I want one
Prefer this over spark.. 4s enough for buggy
I wonder how this compares to the older radix 4s. Would the body be compatible?

@@AussieRCPlayground want to buy a clear version of the radix body but out of stock everywhere...
Get the 1/7 roller, bigger boys. An put real controls in it.
Are you talking about the Asuga? I already have that one.
@AussieRCPlayground yupper ,I can't drive any thing under 1/7 scale. Big bashing is way to go.
A good driver can drive anything. 😉
@AussieRCPlayground if your 10,small is ok. But at 64,it's got to be fast an big when it whips by my feet.

Waiting until they do something in 1/10.
