    Some familiar areas downeast. A number of ways to cross Washington county by dirt roads.

    It looks like an amazing time! Do you have gpx tracks of where you went?

      @@DefiantOffroad we don’t only because Maine is mostly privately owned and we are losing more and more each year. While I know most would be respectful of the areas, all it takes is one bad apple to shut the trail down.

    Super awesome overland video, but the guy from Massachusetts with the blinking lights is annoying. Why the F do you need those lights blinking for the entire trip? A perfect video, other than that distraction. Maine is awesome!

    • @207overland
      @207overland  25 дней назад

      @@marcduquette5617 we prefer them to be steady lit as well but some lights don’t come that way. It’s better to have something flashing than nothing at all when you are in the dust.

    Awesome video! Would be better without that music. Nice to see some east coast overlanding.

    How did you find this on gaia? I am new to overlanding and look for places to go I leave in Maine

    • @207overland
      @207overland  6 месяцев назад +1

      @@KC1PDW we have lived and explored here for decades and most of this comes from that experience in the woods. For someone just starting out, I would recommend the Maine Gazetteer as a source to find old woods roads and campsites. Alternatively, 207overland.com does offer a membership package that includes over 5k miles of overland routes in Maine and hundreds of campsites too.

    This video would be much better without the annoying music… I’d rather hear what’s being said.. a map in the corner.. or cutting to a map showing where you are in Maine would be great as well.. you didn’t mention where in the west you started… where you camped.. I lasted 15 min with this video
