Those who are developing Deep Fake likely utilize how people can spot glitches and subsequently benefit by encouraging people to discuss this with eachother. They can then iron out inconsistencies.
Deep Fake may even be advanced AI programs learning how to mimic people.
Anyone remember the film Blade Runner, based on the Philip K. Dick story 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?'.

These aren't deepfake, it is face masking filters. Same tech that is used in Snapchat.
An actual deep fake uses completely computer generated imagery and doesn't blur or 'unmask' at any point.

Those are some pretty cool tricks to use. I like that. I have not had a problem with it yet, but I could also imagine less than five years, putting your hand in front of the camera or turning to the side, won’t work at all. It’s both scary and exciting.
