I'll answer the statement without watching the video, then I'll watch the video. Palps "dying" wasn't impressive because, as much as I love Ian McDiarmid's acting, there was zero set up for him to be present in episode IX under any context. Instead, JJ and KK's choice to force him into The Rise of Skywalker happened, because KK wasn't keeping Rian Johnson on the plantation and the Disney trilogy lost it's cognizant assemblance of order with The Last Jedi. The entire IP was dealt a crippling death blow with TLJ. Killing the main antagonist and main protagonist of the whole storyline in the middle movie was a ricin covered death stick for the final movie in the trilogy. The only fix would have been a 2-part episode IX so the creation of a villain and overall risk could be re-established... RIP: Star Wars, you will be missed...

The only thing that sold rise of skywalker was palpatine,...seriously! no one would have went otherwise. However this selling point totally ruined all that came before it. I like to pretend the sequels are just fan fiction

I went to midnight screenings of every Star Wars film. Until the Last Jedi.
Then I didn’t see the final film. The Disney sequels aren’t Star Wars. They might look like it, but they certainly ain’t it.
