I’m so amazed how after 25 years she is still remembered. I was 18 years old when she passed away. My mom tried to hide the news from me because she knew how much I loved her. I cried so hard when I found out what happened. I’m so proud to be Mexican and part of the culture which she represented. ¡Que viva Selenas!

Selena is one of my biggest inspirations ever, I’m only 19 years old and she has been my muse for a while! I love how she was always a bright woman for those who were by her side...Thank you, Selena! Love you to the moon and back! 💜
I grew up on Selena. She was my idol as a lil kid. I’ll never forget the day she passed. She was the first person I lost that meant something to me. I was only six, & I cried so much as my mom saw the news. I used to dress like her, my mom would let me wear a red lip at home, my parents have videos of me in my black skirt singing her songs and dancing like her... I loved her then, love her now, & will always love her. I was so blessed to purchase her whole collection (the first one) when it came out in 2016. Literally, the day it came out. This collection, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to, as this current situation has taken a toll on my family... & I’m now on a budget. Sucks, I know. But I at least have her first one, which I cherish and care for (I even have the boxes, still. Lol).Your video brightened me, I teared up, even. Happy tears tho. Seeing how beautifully you execute your looks, especially with a collection that means so much to me really makes me happy. Thank you.

32 year old here, and watching this literally makes me emotional. I grew up listening to Selena and saw her being the representation of our culture in media at the time. She was my role model and inspiration. Seeing her celebrated after all these years, fills my heart with joy.
When I was young I asked my mom if I could wear Selena red lipstick. She always said no lol. This makeup is decades in the making ❤️
I remember exactly where I was when I heard about her passing. I was at NAU in Flagstaff, driving away from campus when I heard it on the radio and I had to pull over. Even though I didn't ever meet her, I FELT LIKE I KNEW HER. In her music and how she engaged people, it made me feel like she was my friend. Being Latina, the pride you feel when one of your own makes it, I was so angry her life was taken. She is an example to us all

When I was little I wanted to be like Selena so much, I asked my mom to let my hair grow as long as she had it, and I used to have dance parties with my cousin to her songs. I still remember the day she died like it happened yesterday, my mom picked me up from school and she told me she had some tough news for me, I remember crying for an entire week, and I still do whenever I watch any movie, or video, or documentary dedicated to her...... anyway.... you look gorgeous Karen, thank you for another awesome tutorial 😘❤️

When I hear the name Selena, a lot of things come to mind... I think of all her music hits. Like “Como la Flor 🌹, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, and Amor Prohibido 🚫 ❤️” among others. I think of her signature red lips, bustiers, ohh, and that purple iconic jumpsuit💜. Pero most importantly, I think of the sweet genuine person she was.
Selena is an inspiring woman, in many levels. She left a huge legacy and taught us to, “Believe the impossible is always possible.” No matter how many years pass by, I will always admire, respect and love Selena. Plus, who wouldn’t do “anything for Salinas” ❤️😄

“The imposible is always possible” -Selena Literally how I’m trying to figure I had the time to watch this while working 12 hour shifts in health care right now lol! Pero KAREN!!! What a FREAKING LOOK!!! I remember when Mac x Selena first came out in 2017 I waited for 10 hours before MAC opened (see my insta if you think I’m lying @maritzaxrebolledo ). Of course this time around I was working during the launch without my phone near :/ I think the reason I’ve had such a great life is due to her. She shaped the kindness in my heart even though I never met her. 25 Years later we still try and look like her! Thank you for this a video I get to escape & cry for hours after this crazy shift!
