I was watching a video you did Jules, with my 13 year old son. After your uplifting message at the end, he turned and looked at me and said "wow I really needed to hear that." It wasn't this video, but I remember that moment fondly every time I watch a video you narrate. Thank you.
As soon as I saw this video title, I knew Malignant was going to be on the list. I'm still not even sure if I liked the movie or not, but it's definitely a movie you have to watch at least once.
@@alm2187 The movie is not bad but it does deal with boring political stuff from World War I and it doesn’t have the sleek, stylized action of the first two Kingsmen movies.
I actually enjoyed seeing the crowd reaction to the Green Knights "early ending" in the theater I was in. I was like 'What? It's not like this hasn't happened to plenty of dudes'
Agreed. Speaking as someone with a Batman tattoo over my heart, I thoroughly enjoyed the scene entirely and that joke entirely. And lets be real, and thats what Snyder was doing, making it as realistic as possible for a world of Super Heroes, that's something I'd assume the Joker would say.
I was born in 1964 when the first James Bond movie came out. I’ve seen everyone of them multiple times. They kept him dying such a good secret for so many years that when he did I bawled like a baby in the theater. I had to stop in a store in the same shopping center before I went home and when I went in there the lady goes is there anything I can help you with. I just looked at her and started crying again. She looked at me she says are you OK I said no James Bond just died. Yeah absolute true story. I can’t wait to see how they pull the next one off
@@kawaiizombiegal yeah, Bond is clearly meant to be just a title, so it passes on to the next Bond with the next actor, either they say that was the case all along, or they do it as a tribute to James and a way for the new Bond to have anonymity
I remember just sitting there in the theatre with my mouth open in disgust during Chrystal’s death scene. I expected her disease to play a part in her death but I did NOT expect her to look like The Thing by the time she died.
Harry Stiles was probably chosen for the role because Starfox is supposed to be a good looking Eternal with the power to charm/hypnotize women. He does not look like or act like his brother Thanos
I will say this: Leto's performance in SNYDER'S Justice League changed my mind. With proper writing and direction, I think Leto nailed and a terrific version of the Joker. Can't compare it to Ledger at all because Leto truly made his Joker his own.
I see and understand your point. I can't relate to the audience that new movies target. I'm more into the classics and pioneers. I like how you put it into context.
Honestly I didn’t mind the epilogue bit at the end of the Snyder cut it wasn’t too bad and was kinda interesting and Jared Leto did a much better job as the joker than what he did in the original suicide squad film because that was awful
I found the scene near the end of Pig where Cage makes dinner for the kid's dad way more effective than the scene where he chews out the chef. It was much more touching and emotional. The destroying the chef stuff just felt very "movie magic" to me, in a film that was otherwise very grounded in reality
Halloween, the whole movie was a WTF moment. I took my family to see Halloween 2018 and it was a really good and well-done movie! They went from a well-done movie to a Fast & Furious are you kidding me movie! Greedy is a hella of drug!
I dunno about you, but Leto's Joker was actually really good in that scene. Turns out all you need is actual good direction and actors can be fantastic, go figure?
I had so much fun watching the Mortal Kombat movie. The dialogues are shit and I couldn't care less for the story, but it still was fun as heck. Loved that scene.
Bond's ending... is a little on the morbid side. I mean, no, you can't hold your daughter or kiss your wife, but scientists could work on a cure, you could be a fatherly presence over Zoom, and/or wear a hazmat suit and spend time with your daughter. Seemed very much like giving up.
He had an EMP watch. Q could have made an EMP grandfather clock and put Bond inside it to kill all the nanobots. Totally lame way to justify killing off a Bond.
The depiction of Mob mentality in Halloween Kills was done amazingly and was there to prove that Michael thrives off of chaos and they also show why he kills in such elaborate ways its because he sees each kill as an art project meant to induce anarchy and chaos
But do you know why that scene of LAMB is so WTF? Because we have never encountered an animal who can declare vengeance on us and that’s why I absolutely love LAMB. Because it throws our arrogance and entitlement back at us.
Association triggered: when you referenced eating pearls, I thought of John Cleese in Fish Called Wanda. There probably aren't enough similar scenes out there for a whole list video though, right? 😊
In No Time To Die, wasn't James given an EMP device? As in, something that he could potentially have used to shut off the nanobots he was infected with?
Good to know I don't need to see No Time to Die. I don't even care about Daniel Craig as Bond. Polka-dot Man had some of the best scenes in the movie in my opinion (great decision to hold all the shots, letting the viewer take it all in). John Cena CAN act. Great scenes from him too. Really excited to see the Peacemaker series.

mk reboot was enjoyable, the only thing i disliked was that the plot was about offing fighters outside of the tournament, instead of actually having the tournament that the games are about. the pov character was an original creation instead of someone the audience would want even if hes my head canon baraka, and my favorite character to play as went out like a wimp, and it had a sequel bate ending
Halloween Kills when Michael Myers drove a car ruined the whole franchise for me! Like WTF? Who taught him to drive and when?! And does he have his license? 🙄😒
So, just to make clear, there is no rectal exam when you're joining the military, not like what was shown in Cherry. They do have what we call the "butt and balls" exam, but it's far from thorough, as the doctor assigned usually wants it over as fast as you do. If they did actually have to look more throughly, then you're more than likely already disqualified from enlistment anyway.
Sure thing Martin. The whole batman joker thing, unnecessary. Who even wants to see Batman fight the joker anyway. Just fans of the content I suppose, thank goodness you are here to explain what's neccessary. On behalf of all nerds... thank you
The scene was not unnecessary, it showed everyone that the Knightmare scene in BVS was actually leading to something. Because Zack Snyder did plan to have 2 sequels. Darkseid would win in the second movie and the 3rd movie was going to take place in this Knightmare world. Justice League Justice League 2: Darkseid War Justice League 3: Final Crisis
@@Dawn_Of_Justice You know what other scene did that in just a lesser time? That flashfoward scene when we get a glimpse into the future if the heroes fail in the battle with Steppenwolf. That scene is everything you need to set up the next two movies. But no, Snyder had to do a cliffhanger for the lols. As I said, you can take that scene out of the movie and it wouldn't change a single thing, making it pointless cliffhanger since Snyder knows he won't follow up with this project.
Spiral, yeah I knew who the villain was 5 mins into the movie! Not to mention Chris Rock looked like he was looking into the sun throughout the movie. He kept squinting in the movie!
I wouldn't say that this year set any record for number of bad movies bc every year has them, but goodness there were way too many movies I had a sliver of hope to be good that disappointed.
Is it just me or is every Icelandic film you have ever seen extremely strange . Do they only send us the weird stuff to mess with us . Don't get me wrong what I've seen is right up my alley, just curious.
"Music" is pretty much a real-life "Simple Jack." I was expecting Maddie Ziegler to say at any moment, "I ain't g-g-got a g-g-g-good b-b-brain."
“This head movie makes my eyes rain”
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You've got a fine brain Maddie
You should have got Oscar
"You m-m-m-m-m-m-make me happy."
Jared Leto's existence is a wtf moment
He's role in The Little Things was the whole movie WTF moment lol.
I love watching Polka dot Man dancing with his Mothers! 🤣
The police station scene in Malignant was INASANE!!!🤯
Basically the Matrix

Malignant was so bat-shit crazy, I know a lot of people didn't care for it but I fuckin' loved it.
Watching Rasputin licking Orlando’s leg in The King’s Man totally caught me off guard and frankly grossed me out too.
I know it just came out of nowhere and I felt awkward 😐.
Would you suggest I skip King's Man?

I enjoyed the film 100% but that visual threw me for a loop myself. Her saying "you're no Knight" and looking down at it would've sufficed lol
The final twist in "Red Notice" and most of the movie "Old" are two things I can think
Yeah.... the "twist" that anybody with half a brain knew in literally the first scene. Lol
And I was so close to sayin' "hey! It's a 2021 list!"
Then I realized I thought you meant Oldboy. 🤗
Speak for yourself i absolutely needed to hear Joker make a joke about giving Batman a reach-around

Can we get an F in the comments for poor Adam Driver that somehow gets the short end of the stick even though he is, honestly, a very good actor?
