Hello, today i will show you how to make real sky in beamng. Hope you will like it!

what can i do when skye box doesnt open
hello once the manipulation is finished I have the sky actually customized but I have like separation in the middle of it like a cube a little.

Hey I have a question, is it possible to remove the in-game sunlight so that it doesn't contradict with the sun in the skybox images?
you can change the sun position to the sun on the skybox, but if you remove it i don't think it will look good if there's no sun beam
i get that BeamNG's skies are bad, but, this makes it so you are no longer able to change the time, so why

I'm getting stuck at creating the skybox, when I click on it, a orange symbol appear behind me but no additional window or anything. Can anyone help me with this ?

Why it's not saved after I exit the game? (I do save level) hope I can use it in my maps
It's a bug in the engine. You can't save it the normal way, you'll need to edit the text file contain the assets list to make it stay
do you have to redo it everytime you load the map?
Nope, just click CTRL+S in world editor and it will stay here
@@drivenbybambus I tried this myself and it saved most settings but the skybox wasn't there when I load back in. Any ideas on what to do there or do I have re-select the correct skybox every time I load in? Thanks
@@jxjs6711 hey, yeah i found the issue, its gamebug i think 😢 you can’t save the skybox with selected cubemaps, i will contact dev for reply about it, sorry

does this skybox only effect the map your doing it on? did the whole thing and went to try on a actual map and didnt see the cubemap
Yes, you will have to repeat this process individually on every map you want the skybox on.
i would never think to download an hdri, even though i do blender
