One of the main reason I love Doctor Who is because their is no pressure of being good looking in face and in body, sure Eccleston, Tenant, Smith, Capaldi, Darvill and Borrowman etc. are all good looking but their is not a lot of nudity you barely see some of them shirtless. Doctor who embraces weirdness (I.e. All episodes with weird lovable creatures) and diversity in body types for its cast i.e. the episodes "blink" & "the Lodger" Finlay Robertson and James Corden is not as fit as you could see in the episodes.
But I digress I just hope they don't over convolute the story with a lot of sex and nudity, I know they are all in top shape and good looking no need to rub it in our faces. I imagine people will say but there's a lot of that in torchwood too, well where is it now? All I'm saying is that maybe the reason Doctor Who the main series has longevity compared to its spin offs is because it appeals to all and like I said there is no pressure, and not that they are pressuring you to be as fit and good looking as the people here. I'm not also saying to just create another doctor who just with different characters cause I'm all in for diversity. I guess I'm really conflicted but what I really want to say is that just don't flood it with a lot of nudity and sex.
Another argument but it's part of high school, well they don't look like it haha they look like their about to graduate college, they should have set in college id be more believable. And Well it's not part of mine haha yes I'm a sad pudgy bloke.

When I first saw Doctor who in 2005 I was in Primary School and thought Christopher Eccleston wasn't very attractive and wanted him to change, and I was put off it, but as soon as I watched Episode 1 his banter, personality and his charming smile won me over, and I shed a tear when he left. Thats when I learnt looks aren't everything if it wasn't for Doctor Who I would've been a very shallow person.
blackham7 Yess I love Eccleston's run & interpretation of the doctor and he's my first doctor that why he'll always be special. I think what you've learned it awesome. I've learned a lot too in life from Doctor Who, it's an amazing TV series.

Kyle Lim Thank you it is. It really connects to what people feel deep inside, even though they might not admit it. It taught me that theres more to life than superficial and Materialistic items.
Its about making sure to keep good friends beside you like Jack and Rose and that adventure can be found in travelling and just having a laugh.

Personally, looking back on it, Class wasn't that bad, just don't go into it with too high expectation. But it was nice for giving us something while Doctor Who was away.

I always thought it would be a good to bring in Sarah Janes son Luke. It would have been an interesting crossover into something new, he could have moved to Coal Hill after Sarah was killed. At this point he would be a lot older and more experienced with monsters and Aliens than the others, but since the show has been cancelled, I guess it's never gonna happen...

Well honestly, you weren't meant to watch it. And I don't mean to sound rude, but it obviously wasn't targeted at 50 year olds. It was targeted at Doctor Who's teen demographic, so that the youth could get what they wanted out of Doctor who, without the writers having to modify the original show to their taste. I promise you, you would have been more devestated if Doctor who slowly turned into Class.
m8 I'm 19, and hated every second of it. It's an embarrassment tbh.
David Branston I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. Ok, let me put it another way... I enjoyed Miss Quill. When she wasn't on the screen, it was sorta lackluster.
This reminds me of when the BBC tried to make a K9 tv show... twice... and failed..

Plan on getting my copy of this amazing series when it comes out on either DVD or Bluray at my local Walmart or HMV store man oh man those boys are really fit plus hotter than hell yay for all things SPACE in Canada
Anyone notice how this show is perfectly in time with the children who grew up watching NewWho? I was 7 in 2005! I had already known about ClassicWho beforehand but still. I'm 18, nearly 19, and I'm in my last year of college because I changed course after my second year. But this show is so perfectly on time, just how Monster's University was in time for the children who grew up with Monster's Inc who were in Uni!!
Struggled through 3 quarters of the first episode, lost the will to live and gave up. It will take more than a capaldi cameo to make me a regular viewer of this.
Wernt they such a nice group of people!!! Guys episode 1 starts with a bang! You will be hooked!!!!

BBC Doctor Who Brand wallahs - I know that your strategy over the last few years has been to bring all Doctor Who products together under one roof as it were, but in so doing you are alienating a significant part of the fanbase.
There are a lot of Doctor Who fans over 40, such as myself who have very little interest in nuwho,no interest in teen spin-offs like Class and even less interest in kid productions like like this fan show.
You have a perfectly good classic doctor Who channel laying dormant. Would it be too much trouble to just repost the classic who material from this channel on that one as well?
That way people like me can unsubscribe from this channel which is now 99% nuwho and aimed firmly at a young demographic, whilst not missing out on the occasional feature that would be of interest.
It's all nupoo and teenage nonsense now.
Bryan Braddock I see where you're coming from actually, the BBC are ignoring real fans and jumping on the band wagon of teen dramas in an attempt to make more money for themselves (in all honesty I did surprisingly enjoy Class [but things can always change] and it's got my approval so far despite me rarely favouring New Who over Classic Who), but, if you're so fussed over the BBC not uploading clips on the Classic channel, then why don't you just go and watch your DVD or VHS collection and watch the good stuff rather than the tripe they're shoving into our faces nowadays. Its not a big deal but it would be nice to see interviews and clips or trailers on the Classic channel again.
Yeah, I'm not interested in clips, I've seen the stories over and over again.
But occasionally, very occasionally these days this channel will have something that I am interested in, like Big Finish news, an interview with a classic series actor or a trailer such as The power of the Daleks one recently.
If the BBC can post this fan show to two separate channels I don't see why they cant repost the classic material here to the classic channel. It's no skin off their nose, and it would give old codgers like us somewhere we can go and discuss the classic series and leave the kids to enjoy theirs!

Class really needs a conclusion to April's story. With three women in two TARDIS', a 90 minute episode could surely offer her some make-up advice at least. :)

I gave it a try but I honestly thought it's the worst dr who spin off yet, and torchwood was bad enough. Best of the lot is still the sarah jane adventures.

Petition to have Luke Smith and Captain Jack guest star or cameo in Class.
Only 6 more episodes to go, hopefully then it will be cancelled. Even for an online channel the first two episodes were excruciatingly bad.

I've seen her at Doctor Who screening events in Cardiff, she's so irritating and clearly loves being centre of attention, desperate to get in to all the doctor who events. I'm not sure what she even does, except just constantly keep fuelling her self-delusion.

On which channel? I searched on that site for all the channels she said in the end of this video but none of them were on there. Not even BBC Three.
Class will be shown on BBC Three in the UK, iView and ABC in Aus, Space in Canada, BBC First in the Middle East and TLC in Turkey. BBC America will be screening it in 2017.
