Bought the 2022 Pro XP 4 Ultimate last year around $40K - top of the line model and it doesn't even come with a roof!! 1st time owning a Polaris and once you get it home and start working on things like upgrades needed just to make it more reliable you see how crappy things are held together. Then the heat in the cab issue. This took me totally by surprise, did not see much out there on this issue and it is a major issue in my mind. Freakin 130+ degrees in the cab when I checked with my thermal heat gun. This should be the first thing Polaris addresses along with all the fire issues. Mine is sitting due to the recall for months now. Next time I will really have to look at other brands before I go Polaris again.
I found when the radiator gang kicks in the heat just flows in. If you look at how the dash is designed it let in a lot of the hot air from the rad fan. If you can plug that up it'll keep a lot of the heat out. When I lifted the dash out to I stall some wiring I could see how the heat gets in. I have a 21 high lifter. Not sure what you run but if you have a rzr that should help you keep some of the heat out. I know there still lots of heat from the coolant lines that run through the tunnel. And the exhaust manifold is right behind you. But it helps some.

Why would Polaris add the tie down points for trailering on the suspended part of the machine- being on the front bumper? This is against most recommendations for tying down - to use the non-suspended parts; tires or the bottom of the control arms etc. It would make a great winch hook attachment point? The rest of the machine looks great!
Yep, you're supposed to strap down on the un-suspended parts of the vehicle. I strap over the tires. Guess Polaris couldn't figure that out. Makes you wonder how they figured everything else out.
I personally really like the machine looks wise the size is perfect for what I ride. Would like to see a bigger bed with a clean tailgate. Glad to see Polaris attempt to make the cages safer and cleaner looking hopefully they’re thicker than a 1/16 of and inch
Polaris needs to focus on plug and play accessories for lights bars, winches, etc. People would be more inclined to buy accessories if they didn't have to worry about wiring headache.
They need to upgrade all the suspension components that people swap out right away because it's under built. Radius rods, a arms, bearings, front diff etc. Not just a 1 piece frame

Just drive it! My sled recall applied to like 400k machines and out of those, something like 6 burned and 1 person was injured. The odds are minuscule, but they have to issue a stop ride to cover their ass.
My first SXS also. Been Honda 4wheelers for me since the 90's.I got the Pro XP sport in September 21(ordered in march 21) and was lucky enough not to have any problems except the middle glovebox latch and tender springs until my machine was added to the recall list. I was hoping the krx-4 was going to be out as I thought it would be a more reliable option to the RZR. It didn't make it to market and I got the RZR over the 4-seat X3 as I didn't want that crazy long wheelbase. Looking back I should have probably went with the talon X4 but I wanted a smoother family rig.
Any models coming with gear reduction and arched “A” arms? How about high rise air intake upgrade like the Highlifter Edition of the previous model. Personally, for where I ride, it’s hard to beat.
So, still no arm rests or center console? How about a gated shifter? Why doesn't it have pass throughs for the seat harnesses to properly fit? Is there any type of HEAT diversion for the cab? Also, is the exhaust still too loud that you can't talk to your passenger or hear that ride command system they over charge you for? Do the drain plugs still allow water to flood the new fancy floor you can now move about easer? Thought this had "all day comfort ergonomics". Why were these issues not addressed. From my experience with my 2022 RZR, it's not very comfortable to listen to 110db exhaust in a 110 dreg cab. The look and size of the machine does nothing if you have to stop every 20mins to cool off and give your ears a break.
