I've been watching CX-5 review videos all day, this one is by far my favorite specially because of your shared personal experience and loyalty to the brand/model (while also comparing to the other competitive brands as well) which speaks volume about this vehicle. I'm about to test drive this one tomorrow and if all goes well with my current car appraisal possible making a purchase this week. Cheers! :)

REALLY well put together car, I got to detail a '23 full of Dog Hair and Dirt, and it cleaned up incredibly well!
Plastics and Leather held up against a big pupper, the quality of the dash, steering wheel, and instrumentation is on the level of some Lexus and Mercedes.

Premium fuel is not recommended. The manual recommends standard fuel. I have however recently started using high octane and notice a benefit in the immediacy of power when I put my foot down. On standard there was at times a noticeable lag, on premium I seem to be getting no lag at all. Mine is the 2023 year turbo model.

But looking for alternatives to my old parents 24 year old or so Volvo V70, in case it would decide to brake down any time soon 😂 Excellent production quality mate! Just picked up a 2021 carbon turbo on Saturday.. loving it so far. I drive fairly conservatively for the most part, and maybe i'm just paying too much attention, but the MPG estimation has been consistently UNDER 20mpg (~16/17) on premium fuel. Wondering if it's just something I should ignore and pay more attention to trip A and see how much I realistically get at the end of the tank?

I have no idea why other cars have taken it away, but physical buttons for climate control is definitley a huge plus when im looking at cars, its easy to use. Hence is one of the reasons why I drive a Cx-5 lol.
