Picking up our 2024 Titan today. My husband bought a new Titan in 2008 and it has been a boss! It has well over 300k miles on it on the original motor and transmission. He changed the oil religiously and had it serviced so it was well taken care of. The SV we are picking up today has tow pkg, tow mirrors, comfort pkg. He loves the locking boxes under the back seat. We are retired so it will probably be our last.

I’m hoping that you could help me with a question? What is included in the towing package? I am going to look at a low mile 2024 Titan, but it does not have the towing package, which I will need to install. So, I hope to understand what I need to “make-it” able to tow up to its rating.. thank you!

I have a 2021 pro 4X. I bought it brand new. And it's been nothing short of perfect. I traded in a 2020 Ram 2500 Megacab with Cummins. I didn't need that much truck, and I don't regret it for a minute. The Titan is my favorite vehicle ever. Again, don't buy the Cummins! Start reading through the forums, and you'll understand.

In fact, I have been driving my F-150 since 2001 and although I will continue to do so, I am looking for something more reliable at this point in time. However, the prices are so outrageous, I guess that is just the way it is. I bought my Lariat for 36k out the door back then. Granted it's 20 plus years later but I can't even get leather seats in a F-150 for lower than 60k now. Ridiculous. @@Loiter562

Agreed but apparently they all are these days. For example, I see dealerships here in the Tri-State are advertising 2024 Ram 1500 Big Horn/Lone Star trims at 64k. Last year, that same trim was about 10k cheaper. Similarly, Ford, GM, GMC and Toyota keep increasing their prices on half ton trucks and SUV's. I was just commenting on the 58k for the Platinum Reserve trim for a Nissan because, in this area, you would be hard pressed to find one for under 65k but usually closer to 68-70k. @@arch417powersports

I am looking to buy at the end of 2024. I am cross shopping mid-size vs. 1/2 to tow a small camper (2900 lbs) and to haul camping gear. The Titan Pro4X is sharp (pricey for my budget), and I don’t need that much off-road capability, plus the Pro4X suffers from less payload than the SV. Depending on availability and pricing, the Titan SV would offer more capability than a midsize for not much more money (assuming some discounting). I also like the Titan warranty. I value reliability as well. The safety ratings could be higher for the Titan relative to the F-150, Ridgeline, etc. It is a solid all around truck. Too bad it is disappearing after 2024.

TITAN!! RARRRR! Cuz I'm a macho man badass. There is something very wrong with the mindset of many American drivers. A large majority of people with these deadly monstrosities do NOT have them for 'their jobs'. They have them so they can be the biggest badass on the road. Who cares about everybody else on the road...the blind spots these vehicles create...the visceral fear they instill in pedestrians and cyclists (esp in a place such as NYC, where I live, and yet, where we now have so many drivers in monstrous, menacing vehicles). It's as if many American drivers have literally declared war on the rest of us. But hey, apparently it's their god-given right. And BTW, how often do we see massive vehicles like this with just ONE person inside (i.e., the driver) and no 'landscaping tools', etc.??

I heard from a lot of people that GM has had a lot of problems with the transmissions that crap out, and warranty is only 3/36k vs Nissans 5/100k, that's almost 3x as much warranty. I don't think Nissan would provide trash and call bs on their products/reputation. I have an Xterra with 235,000 miles original tranny and is still strong. I was going to buy an X31 GMC Sierra elevation but the transmission issues still seem lingering according to buddies that work at dealerships. So I pulled the trigger and got me another Nissan, 2023 Titan Pro 4X 😂 ✌️.

@@Rickman357 my 2017 Titan came with a lifetime warranty on power train and drive train. They are going to regret giving that to me! :)
