It seems to be a “loyalty reward”, I have read that you need to have played (some of?) the BL games in a previous iteration of the same platform (leg, played on a PS3, get the rewards on a PS4). I have the whole series but I’m a newcomer, so no “two Gearbox legendaries at the start” for me.
I got the first enemys killed in t bone bu getting in a car and pushing them over the edge, gets you about 1000 exp (one of them survived the death barrier and was just walking around so yeah) other than that everything was rinse and repeat. Did it a diffrent path for better mobility and speed but all the same, thank you tons!
Nice! Back in BL1 days, Tbone Junction was where I made bank. I stopped picking up weapons less that $200k. I had so much money my death taxes were in the millions...Which may be why they put that sneaky mailbox somwhere (in the strider area) that takes a bunch of your money...
The biggest bullet in the world, I remember having 9,999,999 dollars, I activated the slot, hadn't a clue what it did, until I went to the nearby weapon machine and discovered I only had 30,000 dollars left
love you vids slack i used this little circuit to blow my buddy's mind. also ill say this the roboluction does not start scaling till you turn in the meet shep sanders mission so you can run that dlc at a lower level beat it then scale it up to get better loot from the end reward and this is not an exploit
got to say that with age comes perfection and that is reflecting in the super mario skills..watching this banzai run compared to the old content, namely the original and borderlands 2 it's like watching night and day. Also with the old borderlands every single time i entered t-bone junction the game would always be sluggish, but seeing it now with all the bells and whistles damn...And really looking forward for the run of the dlcs!
Excellent vid! This is the way I always start except that I take closer to an hour with side trips to the bank to upgrade my ammo capacity (I know-easymode) and stash possible future weapons, shields and class mods. Also, fairly certain there's no death tax up to level 10. I believe also that fast traveling to the bank and back clears the assassins as they always disappear completely for me.
After I got this GOTY edition version of the game I also have been having problems with the game crashing. Probably 4 times so far. I get the 2 legendary weapons when I start and have got one while playing mid way through the game in the shift box.
@@KingKjellboy It just freezes then I get a loud buzzing noise from my desk top. Not a blue screen. I have to reboot the computer. It does not do it all of the time, however enough that it is annoying. I have a very fast processor and a very good graphics card. So I think it may be a conflict with a driver in this new version of the game.
Loud buzzing sound? That sounds like a hardware problem, not a software problem. My first guess would be your CPU is overheating. Do you have a way to monitor your CPU temps? If not, you should download and install CoreTemp.
@@MajorSlackVideos Ok, thanks for the info. I downloaded CoreTemp. I have it notifying me automatically if things start to overheat. Perhaps I need a new cooler.
@@MajorSlackVideos I took a look and saw that there was dust on the cooling fans. I cleaned all of that and it fixed the problem. I just need to clean them on a regular basis. My bad.
The game looks great graphics-wise but I think the gameplay has lost some its spastic spunk... that over-the-top in-your-face sh!t flying everywhere classic Borderlands feel. I dunno... Something's missing. Could be the guy who was playing the demo and possibly directions from Randy Pitchford to showcase certain elements which kinda put the brakes on his gaming. Just seems to me like something's missing...
I don't know why but BL3 feels like overwatch and destiny combined together... i liked most of the game play and everything.. but it kinda feels..shallow. I might be wrong though
@@dreadofshadow dear sir, i can't be more pleased, overwatch sfx came to mind when i saw bl3 in live action. too much effect, perhaps to cover hollow insides.
@majorslack: I felt the same after watching some videos. Looks like Borderlands, but something is missing. Then I saw one video and the gameplay looked very borderlandish. Depends on person playing, I guess. I wasn't sure about Borderlands 1 and 2 neither, until I saw your videos :)
The Red Pill - 0:00
The Blue Pill - 9:51
Either way, thanks for watching!

Not trying to be mean but I always complete relentless very easily with the first batch
I have Borderlands GOTY Enhanced installed and I am getting 2 Gearbox Legendary weapons every time I start a new game.
I also had the Borderlands Handsome Collection. Get a new legendary every time.
I had all the games. Get no legendary tho
Is this for digital or physical? As they may explain things...
I have Borderlands GOTY Enhanced installed and I am NOT getting 2 Gearbox Legendary weapons every time I start a new game.
And I followed your instructions

Thanks man. Super helpful. Also not irritating to watch, you get straight to the point.

Stick with The Slack and you won't have an unfortunate fatal incident occur! Nope, doesn't quite have the same ring :)

Epic! Thanks, I tend to leave my game open/unpaussed and my money just disappear in respawning while mobs kill me over and over again XD

Slack be rich, woohoo 😃
A walkthrough of DLC I never played? And with a low level hero? Slack is spoiling us again :D
I did not know about that 4th chest in the boat, thank you.
I think a sneaky barrel got you at the start. Happened to me a couple of times.
Getting ready for number 3 I see, now I gotta turn my notifications on 🤙
Will you continue with the DLC or start a new series Mr Slack??
Oh I know this works cause when I first started I had only 2,125 done the money glitch within 30 to 40 minutes I had 85,456 thank you..

Bluescreen type of crash? That's what I am getting often. Probably punishing me for being too good in the original version. 😂

Going to do 3 of 4 dlcs?
Hey slack are you going to do borderlands 2. the pre sequel and three when it comes out?

You probably mentioned this but is this like part 1 of the Mordecai DLC run?

The weapon of the days are really good in bl1 compared to bl2
