    Hello all,
Back again this week with one of our most popular seller's and most popular gift ideas. Since making roses initially now in the ballpark of 4-500 over the past few years I've developed my own particular style. The large roses are beautiful ornate and have a few extra things that make them special now, such as scrolling at the bottom of the stem etc. About a year ago we decided to make a smaller version that is more cost effective for the consumer. Our large roses sell for around 80 usd these we sell in the store some painted some not for 40 usd.
These are a blast to make and don't require much time. today I fought the thin 16-gauge sheet metal cooling down on me relatively quickly due to the temperature in the shop being below 27 degrees Fahrenheit.
I hope that I can keep up the pace with uploading weekly content, my views are still low, so the incentive to keep pushing is waning. I greatly enjoy creating content and uploading but the return on investments virtually zero other than cutting into my weekend for hours at a time. The wife as supportive as she is, is getting a distaste for my uploads. Mainly because i feel the need to find something creative to do weekly and I'll be honest trying to keep the content fresh and not step on other creators' toes is a bit difficult. I often suffer from a form of creative block. I'll have great ideas all week and then boom! weekend hits and i can't remember a darn thing.
Regardless I suppose in some capacity if you all are still enjoying these, and my slowly better editing skills I'll keep on keeping on.
    Till next time Chris .

Very nice job there. I think I might have taken a brass brush though and scraped it along the tops of the petals to give them just a little more color. But you did a great job just the same. Well done!

We do that to some and paint others, we've found that brassed around here don't sell very well at all. We've had comments that it makes it look like cheap 70s decor, so even though I like it we don't use it often. Thank you for the comment

Nicely done, as always. I'm always trying to find a way to get some color in mine without paint; closest I've come is trying oxalix acid soaks for well polished leaves, which I'm suddenly finding gives them a bit of a green tint. Still wishing there was a reliable way to turn the steel rose red, or purple, or something without paint or hoping I can learn to flame paint.

Thank you, we've tried brassing but they do not sell hardly at all, we've had folks tell us it makes it look like cheap 70's decor. We tried leaning them plain steel with a clear coat and they sell OK. We give them the rustoleum color treatment and they sell like crazy. It's unfortunate but around here folks like color and we've generally gotta bite our pride and make what sells. This was the first unpainted rose I've made in probably a year.
