Spicy Shizz i actually didn’t end up going to uci unfortunately. it was $65k for out of state. so i’m at unr in reno, nv. majoring in computer science. it’s going pretty well. kind of getting hard though.
What were your stats and extracurriculars that got you in to UCI? Did you have prior experience in CS? How hard is it to get into Irvine as a CS major?

soooo i got into berkeley for cs a few days ago but after watching ur vids i’m really loving irvine for cs. so i think i’ll commit to irvine bc i feel like i’ll have a more balanced lifestyle there compared to berkeley where it’s super competitive
@@palomacole-gutierrez4194 hey! i ended up committing to uci two weeks ago. personally, socal is way better than norcal in terms of environment and comfort. especially since u got regents u can essentially be a bigger fish in a pond at uci vs at berkeley you’d be a smaller fish. i was super indecisive bc i mean it’s berkeley and the prestige but i’ve always had a gut feeling of going to uci. either place u’ll do fine!!

It really just depends. Some seminars have only lectures and no discussion. And some GEs / major courses have just the lecture or most of the time both lecture and discussion
