Knocknarea is a beautiful mountain. The energy from the west coast is powerful. I could stand there for hours just observing life. The mountain is a sentinel of the timeless.
Thank you so much for taking us with you on your trip to Sligo, thoroughly enjoyed all the videos... seeing all those wonderful crafts and hearing about the Knocknarea Mountain and Queen Maeve. Blessings.
Awesome history, Queen Maeve's mound is truly visible in your video. Your sound quality is very good. I wear wireless earphones (inexpensive) while on youtube so never had an issue with sound. Perhaps they may be beneficial to other listeners. Thank you again for taking us with. Blessings to you and your beautiful Ireland.
Thank you so much. It was wonderful to see Sligo & the surrounding areas. All of which contain ancient interest. I can just imagine Queen Maeve standing Upright in her burial mound waiting to be summoned to fight again. Will have to read The Tain. The wonderful dolls & felting gloves & scarves just show what a wealth of talent you have close by.
It's been so lovely joining you on your journey Colette, really enjoyed it, also your take on the history. Thankyou. Lovely to see lots of crafts being made, in a beautiful part of the world.
I slept in the car partway up Knocknarea then walked to the cairn early next morning...the location, the mist & the sheep milling around gave it a magical ambience. We are so lucky to have many of these monuments in the country. Nice video and narrative!
May I say, WOW!! Such a magical and wonderful place! I can feel the energy even though the lens!! Such an honor to have such an amazing background and story of life just right there!! Thank you and Blessings!! ❤
It has been a wonderful day. Thanks. I do have a bone to pick with you. I have been working in my garden all morning. Even had the Man helping. It’s all your fault. Really thanks. Lol. To old to make it to Ireland now and that has always been a dream so your wee trip has been a pleasure. Blessings.
Hi Collette, Many thanks for taking us to Sligo today. I thoroughly enjoyed looking around the craft market and seeing the beautiful slights. A really lovely set of videos. Blessings to you and Jack. x
Oh! I was there back in 2004. At the base of Knocknarea is a gorge to walk up called "The Grove." OMG....the beauty was awe inspiring. What looks like trees on the horizon are tops of trees down in the gorge... Nice walk. Thanks for the memories.
absolutely adored this little trip to Sligo, the scenery and the wonderful Celtic history and mythology... Always learning so much from you Colette! Thank you! Helen x
That mountain looks almost exactly like the mountain we have here in Lapland, Finland. Our mountain is called Saana and you can find it in Google (I know you "hate" that word, lol.
We have a beautiful goddess mountain between Pinantan Lake and Paul Lake, in BC, Canada. She looks like the Mother Goddess, with large breasts and a pregnant belly, I never tier of her beauty, especially when it snows! Beautiful Colette! Thank you! 🙏
Hi Dee, I use wireless earphones to listen to youtube. They are not expensive and have adjustable volume control. I use them with my smart phone. Of course it depends on what device your using. Walmart has the earphones.
I almost missed this one. What a fascinating untouched place. Is it protected or do people go up the mountain for recreation? If so I hope people are respectful.

My cousin is called Maeve. A lovely name. But her brother has the exact same name as me (that caused a rift amongst the mothers ).
