When I first saw your disclaimer I had to laugh. I couldn't fathom who would have a problem with a candle collection, seriously. Then I read some of the comments. Unbelievable. Elle, there is nothing wrong with the amount of candles you own. It makes perfect sense if you like different scents for different seasons/occasions. Or maybe you found them on sale &/or had a coupon so you stocked up on a favorite or bought extras for a great gift. Thanks for helping the economy & ignore the negativity.
I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love your videos. Don't pay attention to the jealous people. You can do whatever you want with YOUR money that YOU earned. Don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!
I couldn't agree with you more! I enjoy watching Elle's videos; she is articulate, classy, and makes wonderful videos that really appeal to a large audience. I think her success and hard work speaks for itself! The majority of people who complain are usually the ones who aren't brave enough to get behind a camera themselves. I just wish people would display a little kindness and consider their words before they spew hatred on something that is intended to be fun and lighthearted! :)

Contrary to public opinion, I'm actually enjoying this kind of videos! I recently revamped my bathroom and was looking through Elle's organizational videos for some organization tips. Really helped!

Beauty closet tour!!! :) People need to stop being so rude, yes Elle is a beauty guru but people do request organizational videos, tours, and things like that and Elle's showing us her interests. If you don't like it why do you watch the video in the first place.

i actually prefer these kinds of videos when they are well done. love seeing room tours and collection videos etc. and it's not because "i want her life" or whatever the comments below are saying, they are just relaxing. and sometimes you'll see an item or two you want to get, or some organizational tip you can use. tutorials are creative, but i never end up doing anything with them anyway

Wow, people get seriously upset over someone owning candles! She buys a lot of them w/ they're on sale. She obviously makes good money off of all the projects she's involved with. And look at it this way.... she's helping the economy get back on it's feet by buying so much stuff!! God knows we need to see in better shape. Very true, but I love her tutorials. she is giving something else and something of herself to the tutorial, and she has really cool ideas.
I think every girl should do something for herself that makes her feel relaxed and at peace in her personal space. Candles is clearly your thing, and there is nothing wrong with that :) For me, it's a big bag of bath bombs and bubble bars from Lush sitting under my sink, my entire bathroom smells great and I feel so relaxed every time I get in my bath. Is it a little excessive? Sure! But we all do something a little over the top to feel happy! : )

People will never stop hating. Just do what you want to do Elle. Post your vids wherever you want to. If few people don't like it they can easily press the X button and find some other vids. Honestly people, I don't get it why you need to talk down on people efforts. Doing any kind of vids take time and time is precious and I agree with Baggravation, if you wanna watch makeup tutorial you're better of watching the ones from the pro. I for one love variations in my list of subscription.

The annotation about negative comments is weird... but I like the video itself. Candles are kind of weird to store, and I don't like leaving them around the house.

Jealousy and insecurity. That is what it all boils down to. Some people can't handle the fact that Elle is absolutely beautiful, classy, intelligent and kind. I am sure Elle is switched on enough to recognise that in hateful comments. I only wish there was an 'automatic filter' that immediately deletes these negative comments! What these pitiful haters don't seem to understand is that their comments are largely laughed at dismissed by the majority of Elles viewers who love her!!! xxx

I am also a huge candle junkie. In two weeks I have gotten 10 CBV tarts, 8 Yankee tarts and 5 Slatkin candles. I am also currently planning more candle orders.
