I love how much she talks about the people working there because I've only been in a Lush store once because there isn't one anywhere near me, but it's the first thing I noticed. They try to explain everything to you and everyone is so nice, and they just seem to really care about their customers and what they are looking for. :)
Hi Elle, Big will make your hair feel really weird when you first wash, but when you comb it out and it dries it becomes super soft! It's pretty strange at first, but you'll love it once you're used to it. Since it's full of salt it's really best to use it about once/twice a week.
I love the shampoo bars! I thought they were the weirdest thing too and didn't think they would get my think hair cleaned! but they did, and they are amazing for travel!
The colour supplement is so great! You can mix it with moisturizer to sheer it down, or use it on it's own. I don't recommend using it with the Beauty Blender because the product doesn't blend well when it is wet. I use it with a buffing brush or even a 190 brush and it's flawless! I have a lot of discolouration and acne marks and it covers really well. You only need the smallest amount! Also, the colour adapts to your natural skin tone so just blend in the two colours really well.
I never understood the big deal about taking baths, but i took one today after a hard workout with just some simple bath salts, and it felt so good! I can only imagine the amazing-ness with lush products if i ever buy some!
Love the Big shampoo!! I just went through one container of it and went and got a bunch more stuff today including repurchasing the Big shampoo! Hope you like it!!
I don't like the cuticle cream either, but I love Sympathy for the Skin lotion, and some of the cut soaps. My knuckles have not split this winter. Due to the lotion!
Lemony flutter's amazing for dry skin on your feet. I just put it on before I go to bed, put socks on (so the smell should be contained!) and when I wake up they're so much better. Plus when you wake up you'll shower and the smell would be gone :)
Sultana is like, the best soap lush has in my opinion. I bought a slice and it was really really creamy and it made my skin feel amazing. It might be a bit abrasive. But, if you use a loofah it gets really lathery and soft. Good purchase.
Hi Elle. Here's a thought... try layering another nice-smelling lotion or cuticle butter over the lemony flutter one before deciding to return it. This takes more work, but if it makes the scent more bearable, then you will be able to take advantage of the benefits of the lemony flutter, since you said it actually works really well. Hope your cuticles are back to normal soon! : )
Sultana is my favorite soap, it smells amazing. The olive branch is my girlfriends favorite as she suffers from dry skin and it makes her skin very soft and moisturized.
I find that lush hair products do make my hair more tangled than other shampoos, but I've read that it's just because they're natural and don't contain the chemicals which detangle your hair. I've been able to combat it by switching to a heavier conditioner though :)
just a heads up, my lush person i talked to said they get new shipments in on wednsdays and theyre usually out of the fresh face masks by sunday, just fyi!
The reason the face masks were probably out was because since they do have a three week shelf live, they only have so many in the fridge since they don't want to waste anything. They only got shipments once a week and use the ones from last week as samples if people ask. I'm not sure when they get their shipment of fresh in, but at my store, its every Thursday. So if you went in on a Tuesday/Thursday, they were probably all out. If you give them your name/number they can call when they get more.
Please, please, do a review of their color supplements. I can't decide if I want to buy one of those for my summer tinted moisturizer or one of the Shiseido suncare foundations.
Elle, I had the same problem as Blaire with the Big shampoo, But what you can do is: use just a little bit of it (the lady in lush said the size of a grape), and then use conditioner. Then wen you get out of the shower or bath use leave in conditioner. This makes your hair really voluminous but soft at the same time!
OMG.. I love the Sultana soap.. I just got some last week and its so great. The scent lasts pretty much all day. I am going to get some more. Great choice Elle!!!
Tutorials take forever to film man! I still really value Elle's opinions and reviews. She uploads hauls because lots of viewers like to live vicariously through her shopping and YT supports her based on views. And instead of always-sponsored magazines, it's nice to know when Elle receives products for free. Even though her content isn't the same as before, I still value her voice as a beauty guru.
I'm SO happy I came across this video! I'm going to lush tomorrow and I was thinking about purchasing the Mask of Magnaminty but I didn't know if it would would work with dry skin but now that I know it does, I will defiantly be buying it! (:
I have the soak and float shampoo bar and happy happy joy joy conditioner. they are amazing. I have a flaky scalp, and in two washes, my scalp has improved tremendously due to using the soak and float shampoo bar! The only downside is the campfire smell it has, but after a couple of washes, I got used to the smell. also, the smell washes out, once the hair is rinsed. the conditioner has a fruity light scent, which smells really good. it, along with the shampoo bar, makes my feel really good and soft and refreshed and a less itchy, flaky scalp!
Loved this video. Your take your time explaining your product and your very clear about things. ^_^. Loved it! -3. And I've been looking where I could buy a mask and now I know where! Thanks Elle !
I totally agree about Lemony Flutter, and it's really weird because normally I am a TOTAL sucker for anything with a lemon scent! I tried using it on my cuticles and elbows to moisturize them. It worked okay, but I didn't enjoy the texture or even the scent and it did stay on my skin for a long time instead of soaking in. Plastic lemons is a good description - weird since they re so proud of how natural all their ingredients are. It must be reacting badly with some other ingredient?
I used Big along with the Body Shop Banana conditioner and my hair was SO SOFT. Give it a chance! it IS super drying when you use the shampoo cuz the sea salt strips all the oils out but when your hair dries, it's amazing!
I have the Lemony Flutter and the scent doesn't bother me at all, just smells like lemons and mint. I was waiting to hear which LUSH product you didn't like because you and Blair have done a lot of LUSH hauls, so I didn't think there was any LUSH product you didn't like and of course it's one of the few products I bought haha!
i live in chile and there's a new lush store about ten minutes away from my house now. i've been wanting to now whether i should get their products or not and since most of your reviews here are positive, i will. thank you elle, this was really helpful :)
i have the color supplement and i like it on days when i want a more natural look. i never been in a lush store, i always order my products but im going to vegas in a couple of weeks and there is one in the mandalay bay. i cant wait to go.
I love their bath bombs! Im lucky enough to have a Lush near me haha. You should try their "No drougt" dry shampoo. I think your sister did a haul on it. It works really well and its not an overpowering lemon scent.
I have been skeptical about lush for a while but after hearing your review I think I'll just go ahead and purchase some of their products, thanks for the advise!
I get gel nail polish done every two weeks and I don't think the acetone has made any difference to my skin! have you tried jojoba oil to moisturise your cuticles or hands?
Sudocrem sounds promising for night time, thank you! do you have any tips for products that work well under make up as sudocrem might be a little thick for that? x
I love the lemony flutter scent! Lol, I actually didn't purchase it though, I ended up buying another face mask instead (the dark angels one...smells good!). I love LUSH so much I do understand your love of it!
I've used Big and the reason it's so "volumizing" is that it strips the oil from your hair. If you have oily hair, that's great news. If you don't, then your hair will be very dry and "tangly" ( as Blair discovered ). I love the scent but I have to use it infrequently, when my hair is very greasy.
Yes, it is a small container but compared to other cuticle cream containers it's very large. The Lush product is 1.5 oz and I have a very small container of Burts Bees cuticle creme at 0.3 oz and I'm just now at the very last amounts of it after a year. I was just wondering because the smell of a product is pretty crucial..
can you eventually do a review on the full of grace serum? i've wanted to try it for awhile but I have oily-combination skin so I'm not sure how it would react with my skin.
Blair and yourself introduced me to the world of Lush and now I'm hooked!! They just opened one up in a mall close to my house!! I was laughing at how you were saying that you hated the smell of lemony flutter but then you kept smelling it!! Too funny!
I use lemony flutter on wires to keep my kittens from chewing them. They hate it so much they won't go near the wires :) Lush is very hit and miss with me. I love the lemon-grapefruit type shower gels but haven't found a shampoo or conditioner that I like.
I have been using the big shampoo for about 9 months and I absolutely love it. The lather is divine but you have to make sure your hair is really wet and sometimes I add more water while I'm shampooing. It does make your hair tatty n
I recently picked up 'the olive branch' shower gel and the 'sweet lips' lip scrub in vanilla and chocolate sugar after watching this video - can i just say that i LOVE these products so much! The lip scrub smells delicious. :)
What I have to say about Big Shampoo...it does not give you a good "slip", but I consider it my "Sunday" shampoo. I like it for detoxing my hair, getting the gunk out, then use a good conditioner cuz it does leave my hair tangly like your sis said. BUT, after using it, I can resume my other shampoos like it's a fresh start. Overall I do like it for that reason. And the texture is kind of nice when you get used to it.
What font do you use for the "Elle fowler AllThatGlitters21" thing on the top left corner or the video? I love it! Also, great video I really wanna try some of the products
I put lemony flutter at nights on my whole foots and put socks on. In the shower in the morning I wash them with a nice soap and they smell amazing and feel so soft!
I use almond oil on my nails and fingers, and honestly they both look so much mreo beautiful the morning after. My nails and strong and my fingers are really soft!
If you like the effect of Lemony Flutter, but not the smell, then you should check out the Ultrabalm. Super moisturising and nourishing balm that you can use one your lips, cuticles and generally all over. if you're still doing your own gel nails, then there's no need to use acetone to take them off. i have the gel nail kit thing and i just peel mine off when i'm done wearing them. doesn't hurt my nails at all, and the chuck of gel just comes off in one whole piece. not even messy.
Hello, so...I too love shower jels and soaps. However I feel like it is redundant to have both. I always feel like I have to use something up before I get a new thing. To save space, money and whatnot. So....What or how do u use all the boady soap/jels? Do u use both or all in one shower? How often do u shower? Maybe a bit much...lol but I think it would be cool to see how someone showers..like in a suit tho..lol there is just sooo many cool products and how to use them in one shower..lol
I work at LUSH, and the best way to use the BIG shampoo is to melt the salt crystals with water FIRST and then massage it into your scalp. Its amazing once you can get past the weird texture! :) Good luck
i love the full of grace serum bar i have been using retisol-a 0.05 cream on my upper arms and shoulders to get rid of these irritating dry skin bumps and 0.02 on my face and it makes my skin get really flakey so i started using the serum bar on both my face arms and shoulders after i exfoliate and the flakiness is basically gone and my skin is starting to get the texture i want and it makes my skin really bright and clear
Thanks for this video- I love Lush! Shame you didn't like Lemony Flutter, I really like that product. Have you tried the Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie? Worth checking out next time you go in. x
I love that you are now listing the makeup you're wearing in the info bar! Thank you!
I love how much she talks about the people working there because I've only been in a Lush store once because there isn't one anywhere near me, but it's the first thing I noticed. OMG! The Sultana soap is my apsolute FAVORITE soap! I love the scent and it leaves the best feeling on your skin! I hope you enjoy it!
I love that you put what makeup you have on in the down bar! Please keep doing that! I love your videos!
Thanks for the haul video! I went to Lush recently and I didn't know anything about any of their products. I want to try the mask now!
I really like the Lemony Flutter cuticle butter stuff. I think it smells soo good. It kind of smells like a sweet lemon bar.
i don't like the smell of it but i have it and it works so well!
I love the lemony flutter cuticle butter! And I love the scent!
you should try the bases, they blend pretty well and they never break you out
You could try mixing in an essential oil in to the cuticle butter that complements lemon, that way you could mask the plastic scent.
Hi Elle, Big will make your hair feel really weird when you first wash, but when you comb it out and it dries it becomes super soft! It's pretty strange at first, but you'll love it once you're used to it. Since it's full of salt it's really best to use it about once/twice a week.

sultana of soap is my favorite! it does melt quickly though so make sure to keep it out of the shower when you're not using it.

I love when you wear pink , it just really brightens up your face and compliments you so well
The whole video just seems more fun

love your hair colour!is it natural?if not can you tell the shade or a hair routine?xxx
just a heads up, my lush person i talked to said they get new shipments in on wednsdays and theyre usually out of the fresh face masks by sunday, just fyi!
from how many times you smelled and your pleasant facial expression, the lemon fluttery doesn't seem horrible at all
Sultana is one of my favorite soaps from lush! The scent lasts the longest on my skin, and it is really moisturizing!
The reason the face masks were probably out was because since they do have a three week shelf live, they only have so many in the fridge since they don't want to waste anything. Sultana is my fav soap! I order 3 bars at a time so I never run out. I hope you love it!

I love the top you are wearing in this video, it just looks soooo comfy!
I really like Big, but only if i mix some of it with normal liquid shampoo and that helps with the tangles. Really like Sultana soap, one of my favs!
I have the soak and float shampoo bar and happy happy joy joy conditioner. they are amazing. I have a flaky scalp, and in two washes, my scalp has improved tremendously due to using the soak and float shampoo bar! Ellie, love this video and thanks for the mini reviews and tips. Question - how do you store the soap bars?
I totally agree about Lemony Flutter, and it's really weird because normally I am a TOTAL sucker for anything with a lemon scent! I tried using it on my cuticles and elbows to moisturize them. i can not believe you do not like the smell of lemony flutter! I love it, it is like lemony goodness!
I used Big along with the Body Shop Banana conditioner and my hair was SO SOFT. Give it a chance! it IS super drying when you use the shampoo cuz the sea salt strips all the oils out but when your hair dries, it's amazing!

That 'Sweet Lips' is amazing-I used to use it constantly, it actually TASTES like chocolate.
i have the color supplement and i like it on days when i want a more natural look. i never been in a lush store, i always order my products but im going to vegas in a couple of weeks and there is one in the mandalay bay. i cant wait to go.
Have you seen some of Lush's new Easter products? They look so cute, I want to try them!
I discovered Lush about 7-9 years ago, and it seems like It's everywhere now!!!! Stuff is awesome, so it's no surprise
Mask of Magnaminty (Mascherita Piperita in Italian) is my fave and.. could you please tell me which nail polish you're wearing? Thx Laura
Can you please please show how you do your hair in this video ??? Please !!! Sooo pretty
Elle have you tried putting the cuticle cream on then gloves before you sleep so you don't smell it?
I get gel nail polish done every two weeks and I don't think the acetone has made any difference to my skin! have you tried jojoba oil to moisturise your cuticles or hands?
can you tell us reviews of the products? how about your favorite lush products?
Sudocrem sounds promising for night time, thank you! do you have any tips for products that work well under make up as sudocrem might be a little thick for that? x
I love the BIG shampoo!!! Gives so much volume! I use Veganese conditioner to take care of the tangles.
I love the lemony flutter scent! Lol, I actually didn't purchase it though, I ended up buying another face mask instead (the dark angels one...smells good!). I love LUSH so much I do understand your love of it!
can you please show us how you get your hair like that. i think it is beautiful. thanks:)

I really like the lemony flutter smell. Maybe the batch you got was bad? I normally don't like lemon scents, but i really do like this one.
What were your alternatives? I want to try some natural body soaps and washes
Can you do a tutorial or something showing us how to use the solid shampoo bars
can you eventually do a review on the full of grace serum? i've wanted to try it for awhile but I have oily-combination skin so I'm not sure how it would react with my skin.
I used to work for Lush and BIG shampoo is a great product, but you have to use a very strong conditioner, especially if your hair is very tangly.
What camera did you use? I like how you use the remote.
I have been using the big shampoo for about 9 months and I absolutely love it. The lather is divine but you have to make sure your hair is really wet and sometimes I add more water while I'm shampooing. It does make your hair tatty n

I really like big it made my really soft which is strange because Blair said it made hers really tangled. And it smells amazing!
Hi Elle, Great Lush Haul. Love what you have brought. I love your bed spread.
What I have to say about Big Shampoo...it does not give you a good "slip", but I consider it my "Sunday" shampoo. hey elle:)Im a big fan! Im going to lush for the first time on sunday and im very excited!!!:) Any requests of what I should get?!?:) Thanks
I put lemony flutter at nights on my whole foots and put socks on. In the shower in the morning I wash them with a nice soap and they smell amazing and feel so soft!
Elle, you inspire me in so many ways. Your beauty inside and out.
Love you! Do you ever reply to the comments, if so do you have any preferred shampoo for light hair?
Hi Elle!!! Love your video!!! What happened with the WOLVES OF MERCY FALLS GLITTERATURE????
I just really love Lush! We don't have one in Brazil :( and we had one but like....
I love when you do more natural face!!!
Elle just one question why didn't you smell lemony flutter before you bought it? love you videos by the way xxx
How long do Lush products last? I bought loads of their Christmas stuff and I'm not finished them yet cos there's so many!
do you have any cheap lush reccomendations?????? because i love lush
I'm going to lush for the first time Saturday any recommendations of things I should get??
Hi, are you going to be doing a review of these products?? xo
Also it does smell bad in the container, but once you get it out and in your hair it smells soo much better!
I use almond oil on my nails and fingers, and honestly they both look so much mreo beautiful the morning after. My nails and strong and my fingers are really soft!
Big is actually a really good shampoo, makes your hair cleaner than any other i've ever used. I also think it smells amazing.
If you like the effect of Lemony Flutter, but not the smell, then you should check out the Ultrabalm. Super moisturising and nourishing balm that you can use one your lips, cuticles and generally all over. However this one only contain three ingredients; candellia wax, rose wax and jojoba oil, so this one doesn't really have a very strong scent.
they are bars that you crumble under running water and they create bubbles. Hope that helped!
if you're still doing your own gel nails, then there's no need to use acetone to take them off. i have the gel nail kit thing and i just peel mine off when i'm done wearing them. doesn't hurt my nails at all, and the chuck of gel just comes off in one whole piece. not even messy.
:) Good luck
really ? THANK YOU !!! Were the product cheap ?
i love the full of grace serum bar
i have been using retisol-a 0.05 cream on my upper arms and shoulders to get rid of these irritating dry skin bumps and 0.02 on my face and it makes my skin get really flakey so i started using the serum bar on both my face arms and shoulders after i exfoliate and the flakiness is basically gone and my skin is starting to get the texture i want and it makes my skin really bright and clear
Thanks for this video- I love Lush! Shame you didn't like Lemony Flutter, I really like that product. Have you tried the Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie? Worth checking out next time you go in. x
i love your room!
i just went to lush for the very first time over the weekend and picked up a bar of sultana and it is aaaamaaazing! it was my favorite smelling one!
could you review the products after using them for a longer period of time?
