I agree with making a mess and am going to switch to cam lock fittings too but what do you do when downstreaming? How is yours set up so you don’t have to pull your chem hose out and put it into water tank?
Im new to all this but why not use that remote 3 way valve to swap between water and chem to your chem metering valve so when you turn it it feeds water throogh your chem valve and system
That is an incredible unit. May, I ask did you build this unit on your own or did you work in conjunction with a supply company? I am trying to help my son get started in the business but I am not a builder. How would you suggest how I go about this, research and build my own or buy a used one already built? Could you give me a ball park of this units cost? I can see you have used all top of the line equipment for sure. Thank you for any input. I hope you are doing 14:53 great with your venture.
Thank you! I did not build this one. I built my previous two. I would do research on budget builds. You don’t need anything like this when getting started. This was roughly 27k. Look at heath phelps website for beginner builds. It’s texaspressurewashingstore.com
I just upgraded as well to a flatbed. Got 2 IGX 800s and 2 P40s. Absolutely killer setup. You will be so much faster as you already know. Great set up.
Not sure if you already addressed this question, I looked at all the comments and didn't see it. Can you tell us approximately what this trailer cost you at the time?
@@rusty.nesvig I'm in NY. I'm looking for a good set-up and only want to spend around 10k for a setup right now. Unless I can finance the rest. I'm searching around here in NY right now and writing names down and getting everything together. Would just love to get everything I will need and all set up on a trailer.
I’m literally working out of an f150, with a Contractors Canopy, and a Bedslide. I don’t have a garage to put it in so I have to lock it up outside. Your set up is awesome. I would love to have the opportunity to learn and work on a rig like that.
@@rusty.nesvig I’m literally working out of the same thing right now 2008 f150 and unloading everything when I’m done. Looking to build a trailer right now
I was watching your videos the other day and saying it would be cool to see you around town, the next day I did the gutter on a house down the street from you.
Wow that’s an awesome trailer and set up Rusty, Congratulations on your new rig brother. I wish you lots of success with it. What are the tank sizes buffer and SH ? Thank you for Sharing!
I was wondering the same thing... it doesn't have to be exact amounts, but at least a "ball park figure" would be nice for those thinking about getting into this sort of thing.
Hey Rusty, does the same battery power your reels and your pressure washer? Just trying to figure out if I can use the same battery or if I need a separate. Thanks.
So you have 3 hose reels, one for getting the water into the tank, then one for the chem.. but what is the grey one used for, maybe you can elaborate for me a bit one like what you use it for. And also, can i know what you put in your chem? Just bleach? what do you do for like rust remover too? trying to start off on this business, and i am gonna go more out when it comes to equipment because i think it will be better in the long run. ALso was wondering if you could help me out on the size of the tanks and maybe how big that trailor is?
I almost went with Manatee, but I went with their sister company and they were bunch of lying scumbags.Totally regret it.Glad your trailer isn't the same...small businesses shouldn't be robbing other SB's.Wash on!
Dang man! That really sucks to hear. What was the sister company ? I can’t complain about mine. A few promised dates were not met, some minor plumbing adjustments I had to make myself (issue stated in video) but other than that it was a nice experience with them. All the important stuff was done really nicely.
Cigar City Softwash. They both buy in bulk together but totally different build quality.Usually I would never out a companies name, but they did everything wrong.Complete half assed.Hey I'm glad yours came out good brother,I've chatted with you on 1 of the FB groups before, good to see a FL fella killing it.Keep it up man!

If you don’t mind me asking how long can you be off the gun when using the chemical machine before it starts overheating?
Love the setup. Simple yet everything you need. And quality. Wish I had the cash right now for it.
Thank you brotha ! She’s a compact monster
The bypass bypasses back into the power washer?
Bypass on the pressure washer goes back into buffer tank. Bypass on softwash system recirculates in the hose.
I’m talking about your unloader😄 the bypass loops back into the unloader
Hey Rusty, I have that exact same bucket set up it’s so much better than a pump up sprayer.
Have a great day.
25 yrs doing this. Flip both machines around on the front. Trailer looks good.
Thank you ! Do you say that for weight distribution reasons?
@@rusty.nesvig No, I'm saying flip them 180 to make the easier to start, work on, and it will direct the exhaust outwards.
Not sure if you already addressed this question, I looked at all the comments and didn't see it. Can you tell us approximately what this trailer cost you at the time?
Roughly 25k
Do you like the p40?
Love it. In my opinion it’s the most efficient way to clean a roof / house.
Who did the setup? How much did all of it cost? Who can I got to, to purchase a complete set up on a trailer?
Nobody good & too much. What area are you in?

Awesome rig Rusty. killer set up. pull up run the water supply and rock and roll. Get after it.
Yessir. Thank you brother!
Sharp rig! How much sodium hypochlorite are you carrying in that poly tank?
Thank you ! It’s a 200 but I rarely fill it up. Only for community roofs will I top it off.

Thanks boss 💪🏽
Who did your proportioner? Email address if you have one. How much did it cost for that remote set up.
Midwest washing equipment has the entire set up for the soft wash with remote system.
Hi Rusty, why did you upgrade to the 10 GPM over the 8 gallons pressure washer?
Rusty do you still have your 8 gallon per minute machines? If you do, are you interested in selling?
Negative. I sold them right when I got this.
Nice rig
thank you!
Very nice.
Thank you!
Love the setup, do you know what brand water tanks those are ?
Thank you man! I’m not sure of the brand.

Do you have a video on how you installed your cam locks and what not? Are there different sizes for different hoses?
enjoyed, intteresting ~ catch you later! dude~ 😲

Disregard. Had I watched the whole video I would have had my answer. Lol
😂 yeah man you can stack things all into one battery but because I have quite a few things that need battery power they decided to go with two.

What did you start out with as far as equipment goes
Hey, I have one question, how did you do the whole set up.
Now. Can I have it?
👍😁
Do I necessarily have to have steam in hot water on my trailer
Just depends on your main line of work. For me doing mainly residential, I don’t find it necessary. Just preference I guess.
I'm worried about your heat exhausts directions, buddy. Could you make sure you're not heating anything on the trailer?
