Also, I love that you also have games you like to play while watching shows. I have trouble just sitting there only watching a show. I have to be doing something else at the same time.
I loved your example of Power Washing Sim being a great game for playing whilst watching hours of New Girl. I do exactly the same whilst watching series, or sports etc. Can you give us a whole list of the best games for what I'd call 'half-arse gaming'? I need more games that I can play whilst I'm watching the football on the weekends 🤣
Ok I’m so glad you loved Little Witch in the Woods! I got it on steam and am obsessed, and will definitely be buying it again when it comes to the switch. Will also be buying Sun Haven again when it comes to the switch as well! Such a great game ❤️
I don't know if you ever played any previous Atelier games, but that series has been going on ever since the late 90s and if you like Ryza then you're probably gonna like a lot of the older ones too. Most of them are trilogies and the alchemy mechanics are slightly different in each game. Some are easier to understand than others but they're all great underated RPGs. My favorite out of the entire series is Mana Khemia 2 on the PS2. It's a fantastic game with 2 protagonists and 2 different stories that occasionally intertwine, the alchemy system is very easy to understand and the best thing about it is it's absolutely hilarious! 🤣🤣 Especially the English voice acting! One of the funniest games I've played! 😊 Oh, and by the way, once Keoi bought Gust, they stopped having English voice acting in their games unfortunately.
I so wish that they would put the originals 3 on the switch because those were the best three in my opinion but they were PlayStation games so I'm not sure how the franchise got switched over to Nintendo
Did you ever play Mana Khemia 1? OMG it's one of my fav games of all time and I love the combat. I will admit, there were times I had to use a guide for certain alchemy items for sidequests. OMG the opening of that game actually got me HYPED. What does have me slightly confused is that game had English VA, so why don't current games have that now?
@@Zodia195 I have. I own it even now. I've played almost all the North American Atelier games. There's only a couple newer ones I haven't played yet. I wish they'd re release the older PS1 Atelier games with English that we never got.
@@blackenedheart9592 I have those games! Haha they are in English. They are for my ps1. Love them and have played them all about 3 or 4 times each haha
I was only half listening whilst playing on my switch but was really confused that sunhaven and little witch in the wood and my time at sandrock were in this list as they are not currently available on the switch. Not a criticism, I just got super excited, closed my game and rushed to the eshop and they weren't there. A tiny bit misleading maybe? But I'm sure accidental as you are always super genuine from the other videos I've seen ❤️
Sun haven is coming soon! The other two I mentioned to kinda get hyped for as they’re currently just in early access but are looking good when they do make it!
@TheLozzie88 she literally put switch in the title of the video so u prob saw that. So.....add that to you half listening and u got urself the reason lol. Def not on u tho. Just yet another stretched truth title by a utuber 😂
PowerWash Sim is just so good. It really is one of those games you have to play to know if it's for you, but like you said, it's a perfect game to play while watching/listening to other stuff. I've gone through several audiobooks (and a few streaming shows) while happily washing away the dirt. Great stuff.
@Essiggurke I've heard of that game, and would probably enjoy it quite a bit. Unfortunately it's not available on Switch, which is the only way I can game atm. Switch has a few games that are somewhat similar, but nothing quite the same. Appreciate the suggestion though!
Blink blink. I had to pause your video to make this comment ALL Atelier games are alchemy based. That is the whole bases of that franchise. It is what makes it stand out from other RPG games. I hope you love it as you get though more of it. Atelier Iris trilogy for the playstation 2 is still my favorite set for this franchise.
You should try Live a Live! I feel like the game really excels at bringing super different characters together, and the gameplay is really fun! It's actually a precursor to Octopath too.
Cozy games, Heroes and Game beauty in one video. I was not prepared to get all of my soft-spots hit at the same time xD I love the persona collection from game beauty! Such great quality and damn the packaging*-* Also your ranking was super interesting. I always love to hear your opinions and thanks to you I have discovered so many cool games. Thank you ♡
I really love your videos, you're a wonderful person and when you talk about a game you say EVERYTHING someone who didn't play it wants to know. You're my fav!
So excited persona sponsored you with their makeup congratulations! I can't wait to buy some for myself! You're video and channel are amazing!!! Thank you
Eeowna, please start with Ryza 1! It's a brilliant series and it's best to start right at the beginning to understand the characters and the mechanics better.
I got really overwhelmed when I first started playing Atelier Ryza 3. I don’t understand the alchemy, and it’s the first game I’ve played with a battle system like that. I had to take a break 😅
I don't know if its a cozy game but I loved lego harry potter. I found it super fun. It wasn't difficult but it wasn't boring. I was also able to complete it 100% which I love. Also, my friend suggested Ikenfell to me which I also really liked.
I'm interested in Sun Haven but I'm worried it will be too overwhelming for me! From the gorgeous (yet kind of acid-trippy) graphics to having not one, not two, but THREE farms to manage... I'm afraid I'll have too many options/quests to choose from. Thoughts?
I just kinda do one farm at a time, and take each day as it comes. There’s no time limits on anything you do, so some days I do no quests what so ever!
Ahhh I’m most excited about those two S tier games!! Has there been any Little Witch in the Woods on switch news lately? The only news I could find was from February and I don’t believe they mentioned the switch 🥲 I just love the idea of that game and can’t wait to play! Glad to hear you love it so much!
I got power wash simulator based on your rec and it’s the type of game you have to play to understand the hype 🤣I’ve spent hours playing and I’m so addicted.
I’m really surprised you started with Ryza 3. It’s a continuous story so it’s best to go in order. It’s an incredible wrap up to the story and the scenes with characters are so much more meaningful if you know the story and origins of the characters. It also builds on mechanics from the past games, which makes jumping into the 3rd game really confusing if you’ve never encountered the countless mechanics they introduce.
While I am no Atelier fan (well more casual), the two games I have played (1 mainline and one spin-off), I have enjoyed. First one I ever played was a PS2 game called Mana-Khemia: Alchemists of Al-Revis and it focused more on the combat than the alchemy. All Atelier games have Alchemy in it. The 2nd one I played was the game that came out before the Ryza trilogy (and it's a PS4 game), Atelier Lulua, the Scion of Arland (4th game in that saga since it focuses on the daughter of the 1st game). Fun fact about Atelier franchise, much like Final Fantasy, there's always a char with the same name in every game. So just like there's always a Cid in FF, there's always a Pamela in an Atelier game lol. And yeah Lulua didn't have an English dub version either, which is sad before Mana-Khemia does and all of the English VAs did a great job. Awwww, I want to get Sun Haven so badly! But even with it's cheep price compared to other games, I still have to save my money for more important stuff, like here in the USA next month is Mother's Day, plus this month the Mario movie comes out and my brother and I are going to see it (and we haven't seen a movie together in ages), plus just traveling in general takes up money and I live in Texas and it takes over 30 minutes to get anywhere lol. I am going to hold off until this Summer because hopefully by then things will come down because as of right now, Sun Haven is the game I want the most, more so than any other game that is coming out lol. But I'll be patient. All last month I was playing My Time at Sandrock and I really enjoy it. Only major issue is the lag due to not having a 'top of the line' computer (it runs better when it's the only thing running). I have decided not get a game like this with high graphics for my computer again and just wait for a Switch release if it gets one because I am sure it plays a lot smoother on the Switch (at least in my case). Still I really enjoy this game. I didn't mind the slow start simply because it didn't feel too slow. Really enjoy the crafting system. I am stopping to play it and switch back to playing Coral island again since it's been several weeks since the Spring update. So I am flipping back and forth between the two. If I am being honest, I do enjoy Coral Island more because I feel it has more charm to it. Both games have great chars and stories though.
You should definitely try I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. Cozy, choices have consequences, and can be played multiple times to get all of the endings (so many)
I am here to admit that I love Sun Haven even after failing miserably on the first boss minigame, you know which. I didn't defeat him and I am here to say that Elden Ring was easier than this boss's minigame. They destroyed my farm with their flowers 10/10
Yes girl! I am so here for the Steam Deck review. I’ve been looking at it a lot lately, as like 95% of the games I want are out on it already, and usually cost less. 🤔
I love the persona makeup omg it's so beautiful but definitely can't afford it at the moment. The iridescent colour is stunning 😍. Also great ranking I think I have most of those from your recommendations 😂
I know this is a big ask, but could you begin uploading your twitch streams to youtube? I of course understand if that's too much work or not preferable. Sadly I cannot easily watch twitch streams on tv therefore it would be useful if it was also available on youtube!
I watched the whole Gintama Anime while playing Power Wash Simulator and everytime I hear someone mention this game, I instantly think about Gintoki and the others xD
I totally get the complaints when it comes to Return to Dream Land Deluxe not having online multiplayer and an option to turn off the chatacter outline, but outside of those two things, that game is certified S tier. I totally understand though that you don't love platformers as much as I do. So I get this is all just personal preference.
Finally!!! A gal after my own heart - video games and makeup. Lmao. I found you on RUclips a couple of months ago and so far I've enjoyed all of your content. I have also found some real gems through you as well! Love it! ❤️
Love your channel, I look for games for my kids here. Also, I don't know if you ever played, *Untitled Goose game* is a masterpiece - it had great impact on me personally. My kids love to play it both, and their behavior resemble gooses in real life. Also we love *Rubber bandits* Thank you for your beautiful video and inspiration!
Can you turn off the voices in Atelier Ryza without turning off sounds? I get super distracted if I'm reading in a different language than I'm hearing heh I've been tempted by Atelier Ryza games for a long time. It sounds like my RPG type of jam from what you've explained here but, it's soooo expensive even on most sales. Would love to see more on it from you! I always adore your make up!! Congrats on the sponsor 🎉 I really need to get on getting the Octopath games. Absolutely love the style and combat mechanics style! Thank you for the honest opinion on Gardenia, and hope you'll update on it as it's been on my wishlist a while but on the fence. I have Little Witch in the Woods on Deck but still need to playyyy LOL It looks just so amazing and fun though, maybe this (my) weekend next couple days finally heh Another I'll probably get on Switch again too heh Power Wash Sim keeps being like "suggested" to me. I keep kinda laughing at it but ... it might be that just beyond super chill game I'm needing when the spoons are super low/in deficit after a long crappy day job week. Absolutely Sun Haven, as I've probably told you a few dozen times LOL I'm so happy for the invincible settings, as I'm frankly tired of combat being in every farming/life sim anymore when I just want to chill. Excited for your future video on it!! Your comments on Storytelling has me interested. Thank you for the short length heads up though! Will wait for a sale. Perhaps they'll do a sequel like several "choices matter" games seem to be. I really want to try My Time at Sandrock but even though Steam says there's a demo, it's not there once you go into the page itself. I fully regret buying Portia honestly, it's still soooo glitchy and just overwhelmingly BUSY to me, so would really like to try before jumping in... The Figment games looks so beautiful and interesting but I hate puzzles LOL so, if you ever stream it I'll totally watch gameplay heh
Have to agree about "Storyteller". I absolutely love the concept but feel like it had some missed opportunities to be more creative in the solutions like say original Scribblenauts. Also - don't be tempted to get Scribblenauts Showdown now that it is on sale! It is NOT like the original games.
I definitely hope you play more Sandrock! It became my obsession in early early access, and I think you'd love it so much more than B tier! But there are so many good games out there, they can't all be A or A tier! 🥰🥰
I finally got around to playing it last month (I bought the game at the same time as Coral Island and wanted to play Coral Island first since Sandrock was further along in development). Really enjoy it. I am having a hard time deciding which bachelor to pick! Originally I was going to for Fang, but Qi and Unsuur are giving him a run for his money and I even like Ernest now. Now with the confirmation that Logan is going to be a marriage candidate, I am like, "HOW DO I PICK!?" It's really going to depend on the Heart events . . . . but having this quality of great LIs really is a testament to how good the devs were at character creation.
YEEEEES STEAM DEEEECK!!! cant wait for your review!! and glad you mentioned my time at sandrock! i have trouble playing early access games as i like when i can do the full story and dont have to worry about losing my progress.
As much as I love your vids it’s a bit misleading including games that are not on the switch yet and still don’t have a release date and won’t be seen for months (Sun Haven) ☹️
I just wanted to include it as I love it and it’s coming soon (devs said they are waiting on Nintendo approving it) It’s also one of the games I’ve played the most so far so just wanted to gush about how excited I am for everyone to get it, I genuinely meant no harm! Unfortunately a tonne of the indies coming this month in particular have no release date for switch other than *soon* making knowing the right time to post it impossible. I can’t do anything about the fact that sun haven have said it’s been coming soon for weeks, I just pass on info they say to you guys
I felt the same about gardenia. It seemed to have everything I like in a game but I just couldn’t get into it. I’m not sure what’s missing but something definitely is missing.
The eshop had the first two Ryza's on sale 50% off so I have picked up the original. I hope it's great. But if not i used a GC and gold points so it was like $12. What could go wrong for $12 lol. I would love an update on what you think of the third one when you know.
@@Eeowna Play in easy mode in that case, other wise you will have to get a sense of what you’re doing in alchemy. Atelier games are very complex games in terms of mechanics even though they look cutesy on the surface.
A lot of these aren’t cozy… RPG style games…OT2 and the first game honestly don’t fall under cozy…I get excited to watch your vids but cozy is puzzle related, farming, collecting, open world, crafting, calm stories, minimum to no fighting and battle…I personally would not want to play most of these….
That’s the wonderful thing about cozy, it’s not a genre it’s a vibe, and not everyone’s vibes exactly the same! To some people it’s puzzle games, to other people it’s games with no combat, and others are fine with combat. I try and take every single one of those types of cozy into account when I make list videos, so there’s always something for everyone. It’s totally fine not to vibe with every one of these games, as you can see I don’t vibe with them all either! But that’s the beauty of gaming. Also bare in mind I review all of these so you guys know it they are for you. So I kinda need to play a wide range so I can comment on if they fit your personal vibe
Yep I live in the uk so law now states that if I have any paid content (the makeup sponsor) I have to declare it either in the first word of the title or the thumbnail itself, and also ad in hashtags! They’re getting super strict here on people not disclosing sponsorships clearly

that's fine - everyone's definition of cozy is different! That's actually why I love the cozy community. If you're after no stress and no combat games I even have an entire video on that too! To me cozy is a vibe not a genre. That vibe isn't the same for everyone, hence why every list video I make actually has time stamps so if you don't vibe with a game you can skip it! :D We don't have a strict definition so all can feel welcome
Not yet! But it’ll be the exact same game just with a controller so I can still review it ahead of time 😊 the devs just said their waiting for Nintendo to approve it
Some of the games on this list are not available for switch. It’s a little disappointing 😢. I was excited by the review then let down when I went to order sun haven and little witch in the woods

I always adore your make up!! Congrats on the sponsor 🎉
I really need to get on getting the Octopath games. Absolutely love the style and combat mechanics style!
Thank you for the honest opinion on Gardenia, and hope you'll update on it as it's been on my wishlist a while but on the fence.
I have Little Witch in the Woods on Deck but still need to playyyy LOL It looks just so amazing and fun though, maybe this (my) weekend next couple days finally heh Another I'll probably get on Switch again too heh
Power Wash Sim keeps being like "suggested" to me.
I absolutely loved the game Florence. Any others similar? It is so unique I haven’t seen anything like it.
YES! What a perfect sponsor! Their makeup is so pretty! 😍
The makeup is soo pretty! I don't use makeup but i wish i did
I appreciate the shout outs to some oldies but goodies TV shows, heroes and new girl. Save the cheerleader save the world! 😂
Have to agree about "Storyteller". I absolutely love the concept but feel like it had some missed opportunities to be more creative in the solutions like say original Scribblenauts. Also - don't be tempted to get Scribblenauts Showdown now that it is on sale! It is NOT like the original games.
Very nice list! reminds me I need to get Atelier Ryza 3! Have you tried any of the other Aterlier games? Or any of the Tales of games?
When is sun haven coming to the switch
Power Wash Sim is a perfect game for what it is. The ultimate chill out and slow down game.
Great list!
Sorry im late! Great video as always 👍🏻🥰
YEEEEES STEAM DEEEECK!!! cant wait for your review!! and glad you mentioned my time at sandrock! i have trouble playing early access games as i like when i can do the full story and dont have to worry about losing my progress.
I don’t know if you’ve covered it yet but Roots Of Pacha is out soon! It is a kickstarter backed indie game, check it out if you haven’t already :)
I’m being sent a code early!!
You have to play Atelier Ryza 2, is it by far my favourite!
I'm am saving up for that make-up. I love persona 5. Thank you so much!!!
As much as I love your vids it’s a bit misleading including games that are not on the switch yet and still don’t have a release date and won’t be seen for months (Sun Haven) ☹️
I just wanted to include it as I love it and it’s coming soon (devs said they are waiting on Nintendo approving it)
It’s also one of the games I’ve played the most so far so just wanted to gush about how excited I am for everyone to get it, I genuinely meant no harm!
I'm excited to hear your thoughts on the Steam Deck. Mine changed my gaming life and I use it almost daily. 10/10
Ive been trying to wait for sun haven to actually come to the switch to buy it but i may have to cave and get it on pc!
yeah I think although they're not saying it the issue isn't just nintendo but getting solid controller controls working for it
I am so ready for sunhaven to come to the switch. I've been waiting 3 years😢
Wow your quick to post 😅… excited for Wednesday stream
The eshop had the first two Ryza's on sale 50% off so I have picked up the original. I hope it's great. But if not i used a GC and gold points so it was like $12. What could go wrong for $12 lol. I would love an update on what you think of the third one when you know.
I’ll be speed running it as fast as I can 😂
@@Eeowna Play in easy mode in that case, other wise you will have to get a sense of what you’re doing in alchemy. Atelier games are very complex games in terms of mechanics even though they look cutesy on the surface.
@@pahtosh Thanks for the tip! I will for sure be putting it into easy mod. i am not the best gamer so usually flock to easy mode when available hahaha
What is that app called? Like at 22:19 Is it on ipad?
I need that
you mean the rankings? It's a website called tier maker, you make the tiers and upload the images youself on there
@@Eeowna thx
Have you looked into Homestead Arcana that was just announced? Looks promising and up your alley...I think :)
Ooo ty I’m looking into it
I want to try ryza 3 but it’s so expensive, I’d feel so guilty if it became another game in the backlog at that price
it will probably be on sale some times soon tbh!
Curious to know if you tried Melatonin (the game not the supplement) and what you thought of it?
Me still playing atelier ryza 1 and not wanting spoilers O.O
I have been obsessed with my time at Portia I didn’t even know there was a sequel coming out!!
Oh and great content 👍 😂
Please play Eastward 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I usually skip over the sponsored segments, but somehow you jedi mind tricked me! I hope it hasn't awoken something inside me...
I tried atalier ryza 3 but got overwhelmed with the mechanics
one of my biggest turn-off in games is, when my character walks soooo slow. literally main reason why I wouldn't buy a game like sun haven
I did not have Persona 5 makeup line on my 2023 bingo card.
Tbf I’ve seen colorpop and Nintendo collab on animal crossing ext!
You should have started with atelier ryza 1 the recap doesn’t do it justice and it called Atelier Ryza so alchemy is in the name lol
Thank you. I just now read your reply.
Is Sun Haven official on switch ? I’m confused.
It’s officially coming! Last time I checked the devs said they’re waiting on Nintendo to approve it
Love the accent.
Atelier Ryza 3 gives me massive genshin impact vibes but idk why
I happen to like the mix! But your opinion is appreciated
I gone and got a Xbox sx because of you Hogwarts legacy ❤ it 😂 but I’ve not picked my switch up for 2 weeks
Your thumbnail says this is an AD?
Yep I live in the uk so law now states that if I have any paid content (the makeup sponsor) I have to declare it either in the first word of the title or the thumbnail itself, and also ad in hashtags!
They’re getting super strict here on people not disclosing sponsorships clearly

So many of these miss the mark for a cozy game. A game that's fun, casual relaxing isn't necessarily cozy
that's fine - everyone's definition of cozy is different! That's actually why I love the cozy community. If you're after no stress and no combat games I even have an entire video on that too!
To me cozy is a vibe not a genre. That vibe isn't the same for everyone, hence why every list video I make actually has time stamps so if you don't vibe with a game you can skip it! :D
We don't have a strict definition so all can feel welcome
Sun haven is not on the switch
Not yet! But it’ll be the exact same game just with a controller so I can still review it ahead of time 😊 the devs just said their waiting for Nintendo to approve it
Ryza games had better translation before and townsfolk. This is a Ryza 3 issue.
Some of the games on this list are not available for switch. It’s a little disappointing 😢. I was excited by the review then let down when I went to order sun haven and little witch in the woods
Yeah I did mention little witch in the woods isn’t out on switch yet
Sun haven is however supposedly coming this year so hang tight
you showed this before on twitch 🤣
That wasn’t sponsored though 😂
How is your name pronounced? I just came across your channel.
Her name is Iowna. She named here channel Eeowna to emphasize the E. So E-Own-uh
