I made a New Year's resolution about 15 years ago and have kept it to this day. I resolved to never again make any New Year's resolutions. Easiest resolution to keep I ever made 😂.
Great to hear from you, Jay! Happy New Year! I always enjoy watching your videos, as I devour a bowl full of medium rare sirlion tips tonight. PS - Loving my new crock pot, and pot roast is GOOD! Thanks for your video encouragement on roasts! I alternate rib eyes one night, and pot roast the next night. I also bought an air fryer which is amazing, and often have some chicken wings to mix it up. Take care.
I enjoy your straight up no frills presentation. Congrats on your journey. I am doing keto or very low carb. But have been watching many carnivore videos. Trying to learn about what works and how to go about it. What I have learned so far is how easy it was to give up white carbs and sugars. Now I am working to keep conscious about what when and how I eat. I’m down ten pounds in 15 days. I need to lose another 14 to hit my first goal. I have one question for myself about will I develop an aversion to meat? I am a meat eater and love eggs but am afraid of losing my taste for them if they are my exclusive foods. Anyway, thanks for the videos. A lot to think about.
I was actually worried about that myself. There was a period around the end of month 1 where I developed a bit of an aversion, but it was temporary. I like meat as much or even more now than I did before I started the diet. I think it’s partly because I feel so much better.
I tried keto and had such cravings the entire time that eventually within weeks I fell off of it. So I was hesitant to start carnivore for at least a year but I was eating so much sugar and carbs that I had to do something. So I mentally prepped myself and hubby for a month and we just started last week. I prepped for the intense sugar loss and adjustment (keto flu) and to my surprise, I have had none. Like no cravings, no flu, no energy crash, nothing. This is so weird. Surely cravings will pick up soon, right? I sure hope not.
They may pick up, and so may intestinal discomfort. But stick with it, as they go away in 2-3 weeks. For me, just changing my habits was the hardest part; it took a couple months to really get used to my new way of eating. Good luck!
I wouldn't say im carnivore, Id say animal based, but what has helped me stick with it for 1.5yrs now is Milk, it has enough carbs to satisfy that urge. While not being an unhealthy drink.
I love milk and have been drinking a lot of raw milk and kefir this past month, as well as a lot of cheese. My weight loss has slowed down though, so this month I’m staying away from dairy to see if it makes a difference.
Very wise words 😊 thank you‼️‼️‼️‼️
Thanks for watching!
This is a great video and I look forward to seeing more videos. I appreciate you. Congrats on your new life!
Thank you so much!
Good job, Jay. 💪

Yup 💯
“ you’re not gonna stop drinking if you keep hanging out at the bar with your old drinking buddies” Big facts this totally applies to me
So very true . I changed my whole life just the last to go is the sugar monster
My mantra is, “No resolutions, only solutions”.
Happy World Carnivore Month to You

Try adding some ground beef or lamb into the mix. Delicious! Glad to hear that the crock pot is working out!
Great advice Jay. Thank you for sharing.
You're doing great!
Thank you!
